< 1 Chronicles 16 >
1 So they brought the ark of Elohim, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before Elohim.

2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of YHWH.
Daudi aarĩkia kũruta maruta ma njino na maruta ma ũiguano-rĩ, akĩrathima andũ acio thĩinĩ wa rĩĩtwa rĩa Jehova.
3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of YHWH, and to record, and to thank and praise YHWH Elohim of Israel:
Nĩathuurire Alawii amwe matungatage mbere ya ithandũkũ rĩa Jehova, na mathaithanagĩre andũ, na macookagie ngaatho, na magoocage Jehova, Ngai wa Isiraeli, nao nĩo:
5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
Asafu ũrĩa warĩ mũnene wao, na mũnini wake aarĩ Zekaria, agacookwo nĩ Jeieli, na Shemiramothu, na Jehieli, na Matithia, na Eliabu, na Benaia, na Obedi-Edomu, na Jeieli. Acio maarĩ a kũhũũraga inanda cia kĩnũbi na inanda cia mũgeeto, nake Asafu agambagie thaani iria ihũũrithanagio ikagamba,
6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of Elohim.
nao athĩnjĩri-Ngai, Benaia na Jahazieli, maarĩ a kũhuha tũrumbeta hĩndĩ ciothe marĩ mbere ya ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Ngai.
7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank YHWH into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
Mũthenya ũcio ũndũ wa mbere, ũrĩa Daudi eekire nĩ kũnengera Asafu na athiritũ ake thaburi ĩno ya gũcookeria Jehova ngaatho:
8 Give thanks unto YHWH, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Cookeriai Jehova ngaatho, kaĩrai rĩĩtwa rĩake; menyithaniai ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ ũrĩa ekĩte.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Mũinĩrei, mũmũinĩre mũkĩmũgoocaga, mũheane ũhoro wa ciĩko ciake ciothe cia magegania.
10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek YHWH.
Mwĩrahei nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩake itheru; ngoro cia arĩa marongoragia Jehova nĩ ikene.
11 Seek YHWH and his strength, seek his face continually.
Mathaai Jehova o na hinya wake; mũmaathage ũthiũ wake hĩndĩ ciothe.
12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Ririkanai magegania marĩa ekĩte, na ciama ciake, na matuĩro ma ciira marĩa atuĩte,
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
inyuĩ njiaro cia Isiraeli ndungata yake, o inyuĩ ciana cia Jakubu, inyuĩ andũ ake arĩa athuurĩte.
14 He is YHWH our Elohim; his judgments are in all the earth.
Jehova nĩwe Ngai witũ; matuĩro make ma ciira marĩ thĩ yothe.
15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
Nĩaririkanaga kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake nginya tene, nĩkĩo kiugo kĩrĩa aathanire, kĩrũmagĩrĩrwo nĩ njiarwa ngiri,
16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
kĩrĩkanĩro kĩrĩa aarĩkanĩire na Iburahĩmu, na noguo mwĩhĩtwa ũrĩa eehĩtire harĩ Isaaka.
17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Nĩagĩĩkĩrire hinya harĩ Jakubu kĩrĩ kĩrĩra gĩake kĩa watho wa kũrũmagĩrĩrwo, agĩgĩĩkĩra hinya kũrĩ Isiraeli kĩrĩ kĩrĩkanĩro gĩa gũtũũra tene na tene, akiuga atĩrĩ:
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
“Wee nĩwe ngaahe bũrũri wa Kaanani, ũtuĩke igai rĩrĩa ũkaagaya.”
19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa maarĩ o anini magĩtarwo, o anini biũ, na maarĩ ageni kuo-rĩ,
20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
moorũũraga kuuma rũrĩrĩ rũmwe nginya rũrĩa rũngĩ, na kuuma ũthamaki-inĩ ũmwe nginya ũrĩa ũngĩ.
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
Ndarĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe etĩkĩririe amanyariire; nĩarũithirie athamaki nĩ ũndũ wao, akĩmeera atĩrĩ:
22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
“Mũtikanahutie andũ arĩa akwa aitĩrĩrie maguta; mũtikaneke anabii akwa ũũru.”
23 Sing unto YHWH, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
Inĩrai Jehova, inyuĩ andũ a thĩ yothe; mũhunjagie ũhonokio wake mũthenya o mũthenya.
24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
Umbũrai riiri wake kũrĩ ndũrĩrĩ, mumbũre mawĩko make ma magegania kũrĩ andũ othe.
25 For great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all elohim.
Nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩ mũnene, na nĩ wa kũgoocwo mũno; nĩwe wa gwĩtigĩrwo gũkĩra ngai ciothe.
26 For all the elohim of the people are idols: but YHWH made the heavens.
Nĩgũkorwo ngai ciothe cia ndũrĩrĩ nĩ mĩhianano, no Jehova nĩwe wombire igũrũ.
27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
Riiri na ũnene irĩ mbere yake; hinya na gĩkeno itũũraga gwake.
28 Give unto YHWH, ye kindreds of the people, give unto YHWH glory and strength.
Tũũgĩriai Jehova, inyuĩ mĩhĩrĩga ya ndũrĩrĩ, mũtũũgĩrie Jehova nĩ ũndũ wa riiri na hinya wake,
29 Give unto YHWH the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship YHWH in the beauty of holiness.
Tũũgĩriai Jehova, nĩ ũndũ wa riiri ũrĩa wagĩrĩire rĩĩtwa rĩake. Mũreherei maruta na mũũke mbere yake; mũhooe Jehova thĩinĩ wa riiri wa ũtheru wake.
30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Inainai mũrĩ mbere yake, inyuĩ andũ a thĩ yothe! Thĩ ĩhaandĩtwo ĩkarũma; ndĩngĩenyenyeka.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, YHWH reigneth.
Igũrũ nĩ rĩkene, thĩ nĩĩcanjamũke; nakuo ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ nĩ kuugwo atĩrĩ, “Jehova nĩwe ũthamakaga!”
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
Iria nĩ rĩrurume, na indo iria ciothe irĩ thĩinĩ warĩo; mĩgũnda nĩĩkenerũrũke na indo iria ciothe irĩ thĩinĩ wayo!
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of YHWH, because he cometh to judge the earth.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo mĩtĩ ya mĩtitũ nĩĩkaina; ĩine nĩ gũkena ĩrĩ mbere ya Jehova, nĩgũkorwo nĩarooka gũciirithia thĩ.
34 O give thanks unto YHWH; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Cookeriai Jehova ngaatho, nĩgũkorwo nĩ mwega; wendo wake ũtũũraga nginya tene.
35 And say ye, Save us, O Elohim of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
Anĩrĩrai muuge atĩrĩ, “Tũhonokie, Wee Ngai Mũhonokia witũ; tũcookanĩrĩrie na ũtũkũũre kuuma kũrĩ ndũrĩrĩ, nĩguo tũcookagĩrie rĩĩtwa rĩaku itheru ngaatho, nĩgeetha twĩrahage nĩ ũndũ wa ũgooci waku.”
36 Blessed be YHWH Elohim of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised YHWH.
Jehova arogoocwo, o we Ngai wa Isiraeli, kuuma tene na tene, nginya tene na tene. Nao andũ othe makiuga atĩrĩ, “Ameni” na “Goocai Jehova.”
37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of YHWH Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
Daudi agĩtiga Asafu na athiritũ ake hau mbere ya ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Jehova nĩguo matungatage kuo hĩndĩ ciothe, kũringana na mabata ma o mũthenya.
38 And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
O na ningĩ agĩtiga Obedi-Edomu na athiritũ ake mĩrongo ĩtandatũ na anana matungatage hamwe nao. Obedi-Edomu mũrũ wa Jeduthuni marĩ na Hosa maarĩ arangĩri a kĩhingo.
39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of YHWH in the high place that was at Gibeon,
Daudi agĩtiga Zadoku ũrĩa mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai hamwe na athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa angĩ hau mbere ya hema ĩrĩa nyamũre, kũndũ kũrĩa gũtũũgĩru kũu Gibeoni,
40 To offer burnt offerings unto YHWH upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of YHWH, which he commanded Israel;
nĩguo marutagĩre Jehova maruta ma njino kĩgongona-inĩ kĩa maruta ma njino hĩndĩ ciothe, rũciinĩ na hwaĩ-inĩ, kũringana na ũrĩa kwandĩkĩtwo watho-inĩ wa Jehova ũrĩa aaheete andũ a Isiraeli.
41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to YHWH, because his mercy endureth for ever;
Arĩa maarĩ hamwe nao nĩ Hemani na Jeduthuni, na arĩa angĩ maarĩ athuure na makagwetwo na marĩĩtwa nĩgeetha macookagĩrie Jehova ngaatho, makiugaga atĩrĩ, “Tondũ wendo wake ũtũũraga nginya tene.”
42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of Elohim. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
Hemani na Jeduthuni nĩo meehokeirwo kũhuha tũrumbeta, na kũhũũrithania thaani iria ihũũrithanagio ikagamba, o na kũhũũraga inanda iria ingĩ cia kũina rwĩmbo rwamũre. Ariũ a Jeduthuni nĩo maaheirwo wĩra wa kũrangĩra kĩhingo.
43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo andũ othe magĩthiĩ o mũndũ gwake mũciĩ, nake Daudi agĩcooka mũciĩ akarathime andũ a nyũmba yake.
