Psalms 74
1 O GOD, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
१आसाप का मश्कील हे परमेश्वर, तूने हमें क्यों सदा के लिये छोड़ दिया है? तेरी कोपाग्नि का धुआँ तेरी चराई की भेड़ों के विरुद्ध क्यों उठ रहा है?
2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
२अपनी मण्डली को जिसे तूने प्राचीनकाल में मोल लिया था, और अपने निज भाग का गोत्र होने के लिये छुड़ा लिया था, और इस सिय्योन पर्वत को भी, जिस पर तूने वास किया था, स्मरण कर!
3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
३अपने डग अनन्त खण्डहरों की ओर बढ़ा; अर्थात् उन सब बुराइयों की ओर जो शत्रु ने पवित्रस्थान में की हैं।
4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
४तेरे द्रोही तेरे पवित्रस्थान के बीच गर्जते रहे हैं; उन्होंने अपनी ही ध्वजाओं को चिन्ह ठहराया है।
5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
५वे उन मनुष्यों के समान थे जो घने वन के पेड़ों पर कुल्हाड़े चलाते हैं;
6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
६और अब वे उस भवन की नक्काशी को, कुल्हाड़ियों और हथौड़ों से बिल्कुल तोड़े डालते हैं।
7 They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
७उन्होंने तेरे पवित्रस्थान को आग में झोंक दिया है, और तेरे नाम के निवास को गिराकर अशुद्ध कर डाला है।
8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
८उन्होंने मन में कहा है, “हम इनको एकदम दबा दें।” उन्होंने इस देश में परमेश्वर के सब सभास्थानों को फूँक दिया है।
9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
९हमको अब परमेश्वर के कोई अद्भुत चिन्ह दिखाई नहीं देते; अब कोई नबी नहीं रहा, न हमारे बीच कोई जानता है कि कब तक यह दशा रहेगी।
10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
१०हे परमेश्वर द्रोही कब तक नामधराई करता रहेगा? क्या शत्रु, तेरे नाम की निन्दा सदा करता रहेगा?
11 Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
११तू अपना दाहिना हाथ क्यों रोके रहता है? उसे अपने पंजर से निकालकर उनका अन्त कर दे।
12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
१२परमेश्वर तो प्राचीनकाल से मेरा राजा है, वह पृथ्वी पर उद्धार के काम करता आया है।
13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
१३तूने तो अपनी शक्ति से समुद्र को दो भागकर दिया; तूने तो समुद्री अजगरों के सिरों को फोड़ दिया।
14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
१४तूने तो लिव्यातान के सिरों को टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके जंगली जन्तुओं को खिला दिए।
15 Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
१५तूने तो सोता खोलकर जल की धारा बहाई, तूने तो बारहमासी नदियों को सूखा डाला।
16 The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
१६दिन तेरा है रात भी तेरी है; सूर्य और चन्द्रमा को तूने स्थिर किया है।
17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
१७तूने तो पृथ्वी की सब सीमाओं को ठहराया; धूपकाल और सर्दी दोनों तूने ठहराए हैं।
18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Lord, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
१८हे यहोवा, स्मरण कर कि शत्रु ने नामधराई की है, और मूर्ख लोगों ने तेरे नाम की निन्दा की है।
19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
१९अपनी पिण्डुकी के प्राण को वन पशु के वश में न कर; अपने दीन जनों को सदा के लिये न भूल
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
२०अपनी वाचा की सुधि ले; क्योंकि देश के अंधेरे स्थान अत्याचार के घरों से भरपूर हैं।
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
२१पिसे हुए जन को अपमानित होकर लौटना न पड़े; दीन और दरिद्र लोग तेरे नाम की स्तुति करने पाएँ।
22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
२२हे परमेश्वर, उठ, अपना मुकद्दमा आप ही लड़; तेरी जो नामधराई मूर्ख द्वारा दिन भर होती रहती है, उसे स्मरण कर।
23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
२३अपने द्रोहियों का बड़ा बोल न भूल, तेरे विरोधियों का कोलाहल तो निरन्तर उठता रहता है।
