Psalms 105
1 O GIVE thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
| یهوه را حمد گویید و نام او رابخوانید. اعمال او را در میان قوم هااعلام نمایید. | ۱ |
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
| او را بسرایید برای او تسبیح بخوانید. در تمام کارهای عجیب او تفکر نمایید. | ۲ |
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
| در نام قدوس او فخر کنید. دل طالبان خداوندشادمان باشد. | ۳ |
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
| خداوند و قوت او را بطلبید. روی او را پیوسته طالب باشید. | ۴ |
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
| کارهای عجیب را که او کرده است به یاد آورید. آیات او و داوریهای دهان او را. | ۵ |
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
| ای ذریت بنده او ابراهیم! ای فرزندان یعقوب، برگزیده او! | ۶ |
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
| یهوه خدای ماست. داوریهای او در تمامی جهان است. | ۷ |
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
| عهد خود رایاد می‌دارد تا ابدالاباد و کلامی را که بر هزاران پشت فرموده است. | ۸ |
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
| آن عهدی را که با ابراهیم بسته و قسمی را که برای اسحاق خورده است. | ۹ |
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
| و آن را برای یعقوب فریضه‌ای استوار ساخت و برای اسرائیل عهد جاودانی. | ۱۰ |
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
| و گفت که زمین کنعان را به تو خواهم داد تا حصه میراث شماشود. | ۱۱ |
12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
| هنگامی که عددی معدود بودند، قلیل العدد و غربا در آنجا. | ۱۲ |
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
| و از امتی تا امتی سرگردان می‌بودند و از یک مملکت تا قوم دیگر. | ۱۳ |
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
| او نگذاشت که کسی بر ایشان ظلم کند بلکه پادشاهان را به‌خاطر ایشان توبیخ نمود | ۱۴ |
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
| که بر مسیحان من دست مگذارید. و انبیای مرا ضررمرسانید. | ۱۵ |
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
| پس قحطی را بر آن زمین خواند وتمامی قوام نان را شکست، | ۱۶ |
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
| و مردی پیش روی ایشان فرستاد، یعنی یوسف را که او را به غلامی فروختند. | ۱۷ |
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
| پایهای وی را به زنجیرها خستند وجان او در آهن بسته شد | ۱۸ |
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
| تا وقتی که سخن اوواقع شد. و کلام خداوند او را امتحان نمود. | ۱۹ |
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
| آنگاه پادشاه فرستاده، بندهای او را گشاد وسلطان قوم‌ها او را آزاد ساخت. | ۲۰ |
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
| او را بر خانه خود حاکم قرار داد و مختار بر تمام مایملک خویش. | ۲۱ |
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
| تا به اراده خود سروران او را بند نمایدو مشایخ او را حکمت آموزد. | ۲۲ |
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
| پس اسرائیل به مصر درآمدند و یعقوب درزمین حام غربت پذیرفت. | ۲۳ |
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
| و او قوم خود را به غایت بارور گردانید و ایشان را از دشمنان ایشان قوی تر ساخت. | ۲۴ |
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
| لیکن دل ایشان را برگردانید تابر قوم او کینه ورزند و بر بندگان وی حیله نمایند. | ۲۵ |
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
| بنده خود موسی را فرستاد و هارون را که برگزیده بود. | ۲۶ |
27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
| کلمات و آیات او را در میان ایشان اقامه کردند و عجایب او را در زمین حام. | ۲۷ |
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
| ظلمت را فرستاد که تاریک گردید. پس به کلام او مخالفت نورزیدند. | ۲۸ |
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
| آبهای ایشان را به خون مبدل ساخت و ماهیان ایشان را میرانید. | ۲۹ |
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
| زمین ایشان غوکها را به ازدحام پیدا نمود، حتی درحرمهای پادشاهان ایشان. | ۳۰ |
31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
| او گفت و انواع مگسها پدید آمد و پشه هادر همه حدود ایشان. | ۳۱ |
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
| تگرگ را به عوض باران بارانید و آتش مشتعل را در زمین ایشان. | ۳۲ |
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
| موهاو انجیرهای ایشان را زد و درختان محال ایشان رابشکست. | ۳۳ |
34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
| او گفت و ملخ پدید آمد و کرمها ازحد شماره افزون. | ۳۴ |
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
| و هر سهم را در زمین ایشان بخوردند و میوه های زمین ایشان را خوردند. | ۳۵ |
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
| وجمیع نخست زادگان را در زمین ایشان زد، اوائل تمامی قوت ایشان را. | ۳۶ |
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
| و ایشان را با طلا و نقره بیرون آورد که در اسباط ایشان یکی ضعیف نبود. | ۳۷ |
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
| مصریان از بیرون رفتن ایشان شاد بودند زیرا که خوف ایشان بر آنها مستولی گردیده بود. | ۳۸ |
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
| ابری برای پوشش گسترانید و آتشی که شامگاه روشنایی دهد. | ۳۹ |
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
| سوال کردند پس سلوی برای ایشان فرستاد و ایشان را از نان آسمان سیرگردانید. | ۴۰ |
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
| صخره را بشکافت و آب جاری شد؛ در جایهای خشک مثل نهر روان گردید. | ۴۱ |
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
| زیراکلام مقدس خود را به یاد آورد و بنده خویش ابراهیم را. | ۴۲ |
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
| و قوم خود را با شادمانی بیرون آورد و برگزیدگان خویش را با ترنم. | ۴۳ |
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
| وزمینهای امتها را بدیشان داد و زحمت قوم‌ها راوارث شدند. | ۴۴ |
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
| تا آنکه فرایض او را نگاه دارند وشریعت او را حفظ نمایند. هللویاه! | ۴۵ |
