Luke 13
1 THERE were present at that season some that told him of the Galilæans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
在那時，來了幾個人把有關加利肋亞人的事，即比拉多把他們的血，與他們的祭品攙和在一起的事報告給耶穌。
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilæans were sinners above all the Galilæans, because they suffered such things?
他回答說：「你們以為這些加利肋亞人比其他所有的加利肋亞人更有罪，才遭此禍害嗎﹖
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
不是的。我告訴你們：如果你們不悔改，你們都要同樣喪亡。
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
或如史羅亞塔倒下，而壓死的那十八個人，你們以為他們比耶路撒冷的其他一切居民罪債更大嗎﹖
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
不是的。我告訴你們：如困你們不悔改，你們都要同樣喪亡。」
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
他講了這個比喻說：「有一個人曾將一棵無花果樹，栽在自己的葡萄園內。他來在樹上找果子，但沒有找到，
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
便對園丁說：你看，我三年來在這棵無花果樹上找果子，但沒有找到，你砍掉它罷，為什麼讓它荒廢土地﹖
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
園丁回答說: 主人，再容它這一年罷! 待我在它周圍掘土，加上糞；
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
將來如果結果子就算了；不然的話，你就把它砍了。」
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
安息日，耶穌在一會堂裏施教。
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
有一女人，病魔纏身已十八年了，傴僂著，完全不能直立。
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
耶穌見了她，便叫她過來，給她說：「女人，你的病已消除了。」
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
遂給她按手，她即刻就挺直起來，光榮天主。
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
會堂長因氣惱耶穌在安息日治病，便給眾人說道：「有六天應該工作，你們在這些日子可來治病，但不可以在安息日這一天。」
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
主回答他說：「假善人哪! 你們每一個人在安息日，有不解下槽上的牛驢，牽去飲水的嗎﹖
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
這個女人原是亞巴郎的女兒，她被撒殫纏住已經有十八年了，安息日這一天，就不該解開她的束縛嗎﹖」
17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
當耶穌講這話時，所有對他的人，個個慚愧；一切民眾因他所行的種種輝煌事蹟，莫不歡喜。
18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
耶穌又說：「天主的國相似什麼﹖我要把它比作什麼呢﹖
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
它相似一粒芥子，人取來種在自己的園中，它遂生長起來，成了大樹，天上的飛鳥都棲息在它的枝頭上。」
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
他又說：「我要把天主的國比作什麼呢﹖
21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
它相似酵母，女人取來藏在三斗櫃中，直到全部發酵。」
22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
耶穌經過城市鄉村，隨處施教，朝著耶路撒冷走去。
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
有一個人給他說：「主，得救的人果然不多嗎﹖」耶穌對他們說：「
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
你們竭力由窄門而入罷! 因為將來有許多人，我告訴你們: 要想進去，而不得入。
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
及至家主起來把門關上，你們在外面站著，開始敲門說: 主，請給我們開門罷! 他要回答你們說：我不認你們是那裏的。
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
那時，你們會說：我們曾在你面前吃過喝過；你也曾在我們的街市上施教過。
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
他要說：我告訴你們：我不認識你們是那裏的; 你們這些作惡的人，都離開我去罷!
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
幾時你們望見亞巴郎、依撒格、雅各伯及眾先知在天主的國裏，你們卻被拋棄在外，那裏要有哀號和切齒。
29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
將有從東從西，從南從北而來的人，在天主的國裏坐席。
30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
看罷! 有最後的將成為最先的，也有最先的將成為最後的。」
31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
這時刻，有幾個法利賽人前來給耶穌說: 「你離開這裏走罷! 因為黑落德要殺你。」
32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
耶穌給他們說: 「你們去告訴這個狐狸罷! 看，我今天明天驅魔治病，第三天就要完畢。
33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
但是，今天明天以及後天，我必須前行，因為先知不宜死在耶路撒冷之外。
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
耶路撒冷，耶路撒冷，你屢次殘殺先知，用石頭擊斃那些奉命到你這裏來的人；我多少次願意聚集你的子女，如母雞聚集自己的雛雞，在牠翅翼下，可是你們偏不願意。
35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
看罷! 你們的房屋必給你們撇下；但是，我告訴你們：你們斷不能再看見我，直到你們說：因主名而來的，當受讚頌的時刻來到。」
