< John 17 >
1 THESE words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
IESUS kotin masani wei mepukat, ap kotin masanda nanlang masani: Sam ai, ansau o leler, en kalinganada sapwilim omui Ol, pwe sapwilim omui Ol en pil kalinganada komui.
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. (aiōnios )
Duen komui kotiki ong i er manaman, en poedi uduk karos, pwe a en ki ong karos, me komui ki ong i er, maur soutuk. (aiōnios )
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios )
A iet maur soutuk: Ren asa komui la, me komui ta Kot melel, o Iesus Kristus, me komui kadarador. (aiōnios )
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
I kalingana komui dar nin sappa, I kanikialar dodok, me komui kotiki dong ia, I en wiada.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
A met Sam ai, kom kotin kalingana kin ia pein omui lingan, me I linganakier, ni ai mi re omui, ni sappa saikenta mia.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
I kasansale ong aramas akan mar omui, me komui ki ong ia er sang nin sappa. Irail udan noumui, a komui ki ong ia er irail; a re kin kapwaiada omui masan.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
A met re asalar, me karos, me komui ki ong ia er, pwili sang komui.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
A masan akan, me komui ki ong ia er, i me I ki ong irail er, o irail aleer o wewekilar melel, me I pwarado sang komui, o re posonlar, me komui kadar ia dor.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
I kin kapakapa kin ir, I sota kin kapakapa kin sappa, a irail, me komui ki ong ia er, pwe noumui irail.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Pwe karos me ai, iei noumui; a karos me noumui, iei ai o I lingan kin irail lar.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
I solar mi sappa, a mepukat mi sappa. I kola re omui. Sam ai saraui, kanikid irail ni mar omui, me komui ki ong ia er, pwe irail en me ta men dueta kita.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Ni ai mi re irail, I nikid irail er ni mar omui, me komui ki ong ia er; I nikid irail er; sota amen ir salongalar, seri salongala eta, pwe kisin likau en pwaida.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
A met I koko wei re omui. I padaki wei mepukat nan sappa, pwe ai peren unsok en mi re’rail.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
I ki ong irail er omui masan, o sappa kailong kin irail er, pwe irail kaidin kisan sappa, dueta, ngai kaidin kisan sappa.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
I sota kin poeki, komui en wa irail sang nin sappa, a pwe komui en pera wei sang irail me sued.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Irail kaidin kisan sappa, dueta ngai kaidin kisan sappa.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Kasaraui kin ir ala melel, pwe me melel omui masan.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
Duen komui kadar ia dong sappa, iduen I kadar ir alang sappa.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
I kasarauila pein ngai pweki irail, pwe irail kasaraui kila melel.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
A kaidin mepukat eta, me I kapakapaki, a pil irail, me pan poson ia pweki arail padak.
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Pwe irail karos en me ta men, duen komui Sam podidi ong ia o ngai ong komui, pwe irail en pil me ta men re ata, pwe sappa en poson, me komui kadar ia dor.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
A lingan, me komui ki ong ia er, I ki ong irail er, pwe irail en me ta men, dueta kita me ta men.
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Ngai ong irail, o komui ong ia, pwe re en song laieu, pwe sappa en asa, me komui kadar ia dor, o pok ong irail, dueta komui pok ong ia er.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Sam, I men, irail, me komui ki ong ia er, en pil mi wasa, me I kin mi ia, pwe ren ududial ai lingan, me komui ki ong ia er, pwe komui pok ong ia er mon sappa a tapidar.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Sam ai pung, sappa sasa komui, a ngai me asa komui, a mepukat asaer, me komui kadar ia dor.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
O I kasale ong irail er mar omui. O I pan pil kasaleda i, pwe limpok ota, me komui poke kin ia er, en podidi ong ir o ngai ong irail.
