< Job 32 >

1 SO these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
Amah mikhmuh ah amah te a dueng sak dongah te rhoek hlang pathum Job a doo te kangkuen uh.
2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
Te dongah Ram koca kah Buzi Barakel capa Elihu kah a thintoek tah Job taengah sai coeng. Pathen lakah amah hinglu te a tang sak dongah a thintoek khaw sai.
3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
Hlatnah hmu uh pawt dae Job te a boe sak uh dongah anih kah thintoek khaw a hui pathum taengah sai van.
4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
Amih boeih khuiah Elihu tah a kum la a ham dongah Job te ol neh a rhing.
5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
Hlang pathum ka dongah hlatnah a om pawt te Elihu a hmuh vaengah a thintoek te sai.
6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
Te dongah Buzi Barakel capa Elihu loh a doo tih, “Kai he a kum la ka noe tih nangmih tah na ham. Te dongah ka kawl uh tih nangmih taengah kamah kah poeknah thui ham khaw ka rhih.
7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
Cueihnah he a khohnin nen khaw a thui uh vetih kum a yet a tukkil uh mako ka ti.
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
Mueihla he hlanghing ah om dae Tlungthang hiil long ni amih a yakming sak.
9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
Muep aka cueih neh patong rhoek loh khaw laitloeknah te a yakming uh moenih.
10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
Te dongah kai taengkah hnatun uh lah ka ti. Kai khaw ka poeknah ka thui van eh.
11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
Nangmih ol te ka lamtawn ne. Olthui na khe uh vaengah nangmih kah lungcuei te hna ka kaeng thil.
12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
Nangmih khaw kan yakming vaengah Job taengkah a tluung ol te aka doo na om uh moenih he.
13 Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
“Cueihnah m'hmuh coeng, anih te hlang pawt tih Pathen loh khoek saeh,” ti uh ve.
14 Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
Olthui neh kai taengah rhong a pai pawt dongah nangmih ol neh anih te ka thuung mahpawh,” a ti nah.
15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
Amih lamkah ol khaw vawt uh tih, a rhihyawp uh dongah koep doo uh pawh.
16 When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more; )
Koep doo mueh la pai uh tih a cal uh pawt dongah ka lamtawn aya?
17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
Kai khaw kamah hamsum te ka doo vetih kai khaw kamah kah poeknah te ka thui van ni.
18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
Olthui khaw ka hah tih ka bungko kah mueihla loh kamah n'kilh coeng.
19 Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
Ka bungko he misurtui bangla khui pawt tih tui-um thai bangla ueth.
20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
Ka thui daengah ni kai ham a hoengpoek eh. Ka hmuilai ka ong vetih ka doo pueng ni.
21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
Hlang maelhmai te ka dan tarha pawt vetih hlang te ka hlae tarha mahpawh.
22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
Hlang hlae ham khaw ka ming moenih, kai aka saii loh kai he phawn n'khoe lah ve.
