Exodus 32
1 AND when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
၁မောရှေသည် တောင်ပေါ်မှာ ကြာမြင့်စွာ ရှိနေကြောင်းကို လူများတို့သည် သိမြင်သောအခါ၊ အာရုန် ထံသို့ စည်းဝေးကြ၍၊ ထပါ။ ငါတို့ရှေ့မှာ သွားရသော ဘုရားတို့ကို ငါတို့အဘို့ လုပ်ပါ။ ငါတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်သော ထိုမောရှေ၌ အဘယ်သို့ဖြစ်သည်ကို ငါတို့မသိပါဟု ပြောဆိုကြ၏။
2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
၂အာရုန်ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့မယား သားသမီးများ၏ နား၌ဆင်သော ရွှေနားတောင်းများကို ချွတ်၍၊ ငါ့ထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြဟုဆိုလျှင်၊
3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
၃လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မိမိတို့နား၌ ဆင်သော ရွှေနားတောင်းများကို ချွတ်၍၊ အာရုန်ထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
၄အာရုန်သည်လည်း လက်ခံ၍၊ နွားသငယ် ရုပ်ပုံသဏ္ဌာန်ကို ကညစ်နှင့် ရေးသားပြီးလျှင် သွန်းလေ၏။ လူများတို့ကလည်း အို ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ဤဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်သော သင်၏ ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord.
၅အာရုန်သည် ထိုအမှုကို သိမြင်လျှင်၊ ရုပ်တုရှေ့မှာ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ကို တည်၍၊ နက်ဖြန်နေ့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့ ပွဲခံရသောနေ့ ဖြစ်သည်ဟု တပ်ကိုလည်၍ ကြော်ငြာစေ၏။
6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
၆နက်ဖြန်နံနက်စောစော လူတို့သည် ထ၍၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်၊ မိဿဟာယယဇ်တို့ကို ပူဇော်ပြီးမှ၊ စားသောက်လျက် ထိုင်နေကြ၏ နောက်တဖန် ကခုန်မြူးထူးခြင်းငှါ ထကြ၏။
7 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
၇ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် ဆင်းသွားလော့။ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ သင်နှုတ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သော သင်၏ လူတို့သည် ဖေါက်ပြန်ကြပြီ။
8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
၈ငါမှာထားသောလမ်းမှ အလျင်အမြန် လွှဲသွား၍၊ နွားသငယ်ရုပ်ကို သွန်းပြီးလျှင်၊ အို ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ဤဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သော ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏ဟု ဆိုလျက်၊ ရုပ်တုရှေ့မှာ ယဇ်ပူဇော်ကိုးကွယ်ကြပြီဟူ၍၎င်း၊
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
၉ဤလူမျိုးကို ငါကြည့်မြင်ပြီ။ လည်ပင်းခိုင်မာသောအမျိုး ဖြစ်၏။
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
၁၀သို့ဖြစ်၍ ငါ့ကို ရှိစေတော့။ ငါသည် အမျက်ပြင်းစွာ ထွက်၍ သူတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးမည်။ သင့်ကိုကား ကြီးသော အမျိုးဖြစ်စေမည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
11 And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
၁၁မောရှေကလည်း၊ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် မဟာတန်ခိုးအားကြီးသော လက်နှင့် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သော ကိုယ်တော်၏ လူတို့ကို၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အမျက်ပြင်းစွာ ထွက်တော်မူသနည်း။
12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
၁၂အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့ကလည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မကောင်းသော အကြံရှိသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့ကို တောတောင်များ၌ သတ်၍ မြေကြီးပေါ်က သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်း အလိုငှါသာ၊ နှုတ်ဆောင်လေသည်ဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုဘွယ်အကြောင်း ရှိရပါမည်နည်း။ ပြင်းစွာသော အမျက်တော်ကို ပယ်တော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ လူတို့၌ ဤသို့ အပြစ်ပေးမည်အကြံကို နောင်တရတော်မူပါ။
13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
၁၃ကိုယ်တော်က သင်တို့ အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို ကောင်းကင်ကြယ်ကဲ့သို့ ငါများပြားစေမည်။ ငါပြောခဲ့သော ဤမြေရှိသမျှကို သင်တို့ အမျိုးအနွယ်အား ငါပေးသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ အမွေခံရကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်တိုင်တည်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသော စကားကို ခံခဲ့ပြီးသော ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျွန်အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ဣသရေလတို့ကို အောက်မေ့တော်မူပါဟု မိမိဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ တောင်းပန်လေ၏။
14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
၁၄ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မိမိလူတို့အား အပြစ်ပေးမည်အကြံကို နောင်တရတော်မူ၏။
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
၁၅မောရှေသည် သက်သေခံချက် ကျောက်ပြားနှစ်ပြားကို ကိုင်ယူလျက်၊ လှည့်၍ တောင်ပေါ်က ဆင်းသွားလေ၏။ ထိုကျောက်ပြားနှစ်မျက်နှာ၌ အက္ခရာတင်လျက် ရှိ၏။
16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
၁၆ထိုကျောက်ပြားတို့သည် ဘုရား သခင် ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော ကျောက်ပြား၊ စာသည်လည်း ဘုရားသခင် အက္ခရာတင်တော်မူသော စာဖြစ်သတည်း။
17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
၁၇လူများ ကြွေးကြော်သံကို ယောရှုသည်ကြားလျှင်၊ တပ်၌ စစ်တိုက်သံကို ကြားပါသည်ဟု မောရှေ အား ဆို၏။
18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
၁၈မောရှေကလည်း၊ ငါကြားသော အသံသည် အောင်၍ ကြွေးကြော်သံမဟုတ်၊ ရှုံး၍ ငိုကြွေးသံလည်း မဟုတ်၊ သီချင်းဆိုသံဖြစ်သတည်းဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
၁၉တပ်အနီးသို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ နွားသငယ်ကို၎င်း၊ ကခုန်ခြင်းကို၎င်းမြင်လျှင်၊ မောရှေသည် အမျက် ထွက်သဖြင့် ကျောက်ပြားတို့ကို ချ၍ တောင်ခြေရင်း၌ ချိုးဖဲ့၏။
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
၂၀သူတို့လုပ်သော နွားသငယ်ကိုလည်း ယူ၍ အရည်ကျို၏။ ညက်ညက်ခြေပြီးမှ ရေပေါ်မှာ ဖြူး၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ကို သောက်စေ၏။
21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
၂၁အာရုန်ကိုလည်းခေါ်၍၊ သင်သည် သူတို့၌ ဤမျှလောက် ကြီးသော အပြစ်ကို ရောက်စေခြင်းငှါ သူတို့သည် သင်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ပြုသနည်းဟု မေးလျှင်၊
22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
၂၂အာရုန်က၊ သခင်၊ အမျက်မထွက်ပါနှင့်။ ဤလူတို့သည် မကောင်းသော အကြံရှိကြောင်းကို ကိုယ်တော် သိပါ၏။
23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
၂၃သူတို့ကလည်း၊ ငါတို့ရှေ့မှာ သွားရသော ဘုရားတို့ကို ငါတို့အဘို့ လုပ်ပါ။ ငါတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ခဲ့သောသူ၊ ထိုမောရှေ၌ အဘယ်သို့ ဖြစ်သည်ကို ငါတို့မသိပါဟု အကျွန်ုပ်အား ပြောဆိုကြလျှင်၊
24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
၂၄အကျွန်ုပ်က၊ ရွှေရှိသော သူသည် ချွတ်စေဟုဆိုသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ သူတို့ပေးသော ရွှေကို အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မီးထဲ၌ ထည့်လျှင်၊ ဤနွားသငယ် ထွက်လာပါသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။
25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies: )
၂၅ထိုသို့ အာရုန်သည် လူများကို ရန်သူတို့ ရှေ့မှောက်၌ အဝတ်တန်ဆာကို ချွတ်စေသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အဝတ်တန်ဆာ အချည်းစည်းရှိကြကြောင်းကို မောရှေမြင်သောအခါ၊
26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
၂၆တပ်တံခါးဝမှာ ရပ်လျက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားဘက်၌ အဘယ်သူနေသနည်း။ ငါ့ထံသို့ လာစေဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ လေဝိအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့သည် သူ့ထံ၌ စည်းဝေးကြ၏။
27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
၂၇မောရှေကလည်း၊ လူတိုင်း ထားလွယ်လျက် တပ်တမျက်နှာတံခါးမှ တမျက်နှာ တံခါးတိုင်အောင် ထုတ်ချင်းခပ်သွား၍၊ အသီး အသီး မိမိ ညီအစ်ကို၊ မိမိအပေါင်းအဘော်၊ မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်းကို သတ်စေဟု ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားအမိန့်ရှိတော်မူသည်ဟု၊
28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
၂၈မောရှေစီရင်သည်အတိုင်း၊ လေဝိအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ပြု၍၊ ထိုနေ့၌ လူသုံးထောင်လောက် သေကြ၏။
29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the Lord, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
၂၉တဖန် မောရှေက၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ယနေ့ ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်တို့သည် အသီးအသီး ကိုယ်သား၊ ကိုယ်ညီအစ်ကိုကို ထိခိုက်သောအားဖြင့်၊ သင်တို့သည် ယနေ့ ကိုယ်ကို ချီးမြှောက်ကြ ပြီးဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
၃၀နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌လည်း၊ သင်တို့ ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ် ကြီးလှ၏။ ယခုမှာ ထာဝရဘုရား အထံတော်သို့ ငါတက်သွား၍၊သင်တို့ အပြစ်ဖြေနိုင်လျှင် ဖြေစေခြင်းငှါ ပြုမည်ဟု မောရှေသည် လူများတို့အား ဆိုပြီးမှ၊
31 And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
၃၁ထာဝရဘုရားအထံတော်သို့ ပြန်သွား၍၊ အိုဘုရားသခင်။ ဤလူတို့သည် ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ် ကြီးလှပါ၏။ မိမိတို့အဘို့ ရွှေဘုရားကို လုပ်ပါပြီ။
32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
၃၂သို့သော်လည်း သူတို့အပြစ်ကို လွှတ်ခြင်းငှါ အလိုတော်ရှိလျင် လွှတ်တော်မူပါ။ သို့မဟုတ်၊ ကိုယ်တော် စီရင်တော်မူသော စာရင်း၌ အကျွန်ုပ်နာမကို ချေတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် တောင်းပန်ပါ၏ လျှောက်လျှင်၊
33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
၃၃ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ အကြင်သူသည် ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှား၏၊ ထိုသူ၏ နာမကို ငါ့စာရင်း၌ ငါချေမည်။
34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
၃၄သို့ဖြစ်၍ ငါမှာထားသောအရပ်သို့ သူတို့ကို ယခုသွား၍ ပို့ဆောင်လော့။ ငါ့တမန်သည် သင့်ရှေ့မှာ သွားလိမ့်မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါသည် အကြည့်အရှု ကြွလာသောအခါ၊ သူတို့၌ အပြစ်ပေးလျက် ကြွလာမည်ကို မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
35 And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
၃၅အာရုန်နှင့် လူများတို့သည် နွားသငယ်ကို လုပ်ကြသောကြောင့် သူတို့ကို ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူ၏။
