Psalms 16
1 Preserve me, O God: for in you do I put my trust.
ಮಿಕತಾಮ ಗೀತೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
2 O my soul, you have said to the LORD, You are my Lord: my goodness extends not to you;
ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವೇ ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತ; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗಿಲ್ಲ ಒಳಿತು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವಜನರ ಕುರಿತು, “ಇವರೇ ನನಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆನಂದವು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
ಇತರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಥೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವವು. ಅವರಂತೆ ರಕ್ತ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
5 The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವೇ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲೂ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಇಡುವವರು ನೀವೇ.
6 The lines are fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage.
ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇರೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಸುಂದರವಾದದ್ದು; ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನನಗೆ ದೊರೆತ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ಆನಂದಕರವಾದದ್ದು.
7 I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು; ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲೆನು.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು; ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರವು ಸಹ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸುವುದು.
10 For you will not leave my soul in hell; neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಪಾತಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ತರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. (Sheol h7585)
11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.
ಜೀವಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂತೋಷವಿದೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದವೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
