Psalms 15

1 Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill?

தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, உமது பரிசுத்த கூடாரத்தில் யார் வாழ்வான்? உமது பரிசுத்த மலையில் யார் குடியிருப்பான்?

2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.

குற்றமற்றவர்களாய் நடக்கிறவர்கள், நீதியானதைச் செய்கிறவர்கள், உள்ளத்திலிருந்து உண்மையைப் பேசுகிறவர்கள்;

3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor.

தம் நாவினால் அவதூறு பேசாதவர்கள், தம் தோழருக்கு அநியாயம் செய்யாதவர்கள், மற்றவர்களை நிந்திக்காதவர்கள்;

4 In whose eyes a vile person is scorned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not.

இழிவானவனை அவமதிப்பவர்கள், யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து நடப்பவர்களைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறவர்கள்; ஆணையிட்டதினால் துன்பம் நேரிட்டாலும் மனதை மாற்றாதவர்கள்;

5 He that puts not out his money to usury, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

ஏழைகளுக்குத் தம் பணத்தை வட்டியின்றிக் கடனாகக் கொடுப்பவர்கள், குற்றமற்றவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இலஞ்சம் வாங்காதவர்கள். இவ்வாறு வாழ்கிறவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
