Psalms 111

1 Praise you the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Daré gracias a Yavé con todo [mi] corazón En la compañía de los rectos y en la congregación.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

Grandes son las obras de Yavé, Estudiadas por todos los que se deleitan en ellas.

3 His work is honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endures for ever.

Espléndida y majestuosa es su obra, Y su justicia permanece para siempre.

4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

Hizo memorables sus maravillas. Clemente y misericordioso es Yavé.

5 He has given meat to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Dio alimento a los que le temen. Para siempre se acordará de su Pacto.

6 He has showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

El poder de sus obras manifestó a su pueblo Al darle la heredad de las naciones.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

Las obras de sus manos son verdad y justicia. Todos sus Preceptos son firmes.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

Afirmados eternamente y para siempre, Hechos con verdad y rectitud.

9 He sent redemption to his people: he has commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

Envió redención a su pueblo. Estableció su Pacto para siempre. Santo y asombroso es su Nombre.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.

El principio de la sabiduría es el temor a Yavé. Buen entendimiento tienen todos los que lo practican. Su alabanza permanece para siempre.
