Nehemiah 3

1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even to the tower of Meah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananeel.

பிரதான ஆசாரியன் எலியாசீபும், அவனுடைய உடன் ஆசாரியரும் மதிலில் வேலைசெய்வதற்காகப் போய் செம்மறியாட்டு வாசலைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டினார்கள். அவர்கள் அதை அர்ப்பணம் செய்து, அதன் கதவுகளை அதற்குரிய இடத்தில் அமைத்தார்கள். அவர்கள் மதிலை நூறுபேரின் கோபுரம்வரை கட்டி, அதை அர்ப்பணம் செய்தார்கள்; தொடர்ந்து அனானயேலின் கோபுரம்வரையிலும் கட்டினார்கள்.

2 And next to him built the men of Jericho. And next to them built Zaccur the son of Imri.

3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

மீன்வாசல் அசெனாவின் மகன்களால் திரும்பக் கட்டப்பட்டது. மரத்தாலான உத்திரங்களைப் போட்டு, அதன் கதவுகளையும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும், குறுக்குச் சட்டங்களையும், அந்தந்த இடங்களில் வைத்தார்கள்.

4 And next to them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next to them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next to them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

அக்கோசின் மகனான உரியாவின் மகன் மெரெமோத் அதற்கடுத்துள்ள பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்தான். அவனுக்கு அடுத்தாக மெஷேசாபேலின் மகனான பெரகியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம் பழுதுபார்த்தான்; அவனுக்கு அடுத்தாக பானாவின் மகன் சாதோக் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

5 And next to them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their LORD.

அடுத்துள்ள பகுதி தெக்கோவா மனிதர்களால் பழுதுபார்க்கப்பட்டது; ஆனால் அவர்களுடைய உயர்குடி மக்கள் அவர்களுடைய மேற்பார்வையாளர்களின்கீழ் வேலைசெய்ய தோள்கொடுத்து உதவவில்லை.

6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

பழைய வாசல், பாசெயாவின் மகன் யோய்தாவினாலும், பேசோதியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாமினாலும் திருத்தியமைக்கப்பட்டது. அவர்கள் அதன் மரத்தாலான உத்திரங்களை அமைத்து, அதன் கதவுகளையும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும், குறுக்குச் சட்டங்களையும் அதற்குரிய இடத்தில் வைத்தார்கள்.

7 And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor on this side the river.

அத்துடன் அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்ததாக கிபியோன், மிஸ்பா ஊர்களின் மனிதர்களால் திருத்த வேலைகள் செய்யப்பட்டன. இவர்களுடன் கிபியோனைச் சேர்ந்த மெலெத்தியாவும், மெரொனோத்தியனான யாதோனும் இருந்தார்கள். இவ்விடங்கள் ஐபிராத்து நதியின் மறுபுறத்தில் ஆளுநரின்கீழ் ஆட்சிக்குட்பட்ட பகுதிகள் ஆகும்.

8 Next to him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next to him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem to the broad wall.

அடுத்துள்ள பகுதியை பொற்கொல்லர்களில் ஒருவனான அர்காயாவின் மகன் ஊசியேல் பழுதுபார்த்தான்; அவனைத் தொடர்ந்து நறுமண தைலம் செய்பவர்களுள் ஒருவனான அனனியா திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தான்; இவர்கள் எருசலேமின் அகலமான மதில்வரைக்கும் எருசலேமைப் புதுபித்தார்கள்.

9 And next to them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

அடுத்ததாக எருசலேம் மாவட்டத்தின் பாதிப் பகுதிக்கு ஆளுநனாக இருந்த ஊரின் மகனான ரெப்பாயா திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தான்.

10 And next to them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next to him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

அருமாப்பின் மகன் யெதாயா தன் வீட்டுக்கு முன்னுள்ள அடுத்த பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்தான். அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக ஆசாப்நெயாவின் மகன் அத்தூஸ் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

இன்னொரு பகுதியையும், சூளைகளின் கோபுரத்தையும், ஆரீமின் மகன் மல்கியாவும், பாகாத் மோவாபின் மகன் அசூபும் பழுது பார்த்தனர்.

12 And next to him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

எருசலேம் மாவட்டத்தின் மற்ற பாதிப் பகுதியின் ஆளுநனான அலோகேசின் மகன் சல்லூம், தனது மகள்களின் உதவியுடன் அடுத்துள்ள பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the dung gate.

ஆனூனினாலும், சனோவாகின் குடிகளினாலும் பள்ளத்தாக்கு வாசல் பழுதுபார்க்கப்பட்டது. அவர்கள் அதைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி, கதவுகளையும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும், குறுக்குச் சட்டங்களையும் அதற்குரிய இடங்களிலே வைத்தார்கள். அத்துடன் குப்பைமேட்டு வாசல்வரை ஆயிரம் அடி சுவரைத் திருத்தி அமைத்தார்கள்.

14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

ரேகாபின் மகனும், பெத்கேரேமின் மாவட்டத்தின் ஆளுநனுமான மல்கியா குப்பைமேட்டு வாசலைத் திருத்திக் கட்டினான். அவன் அதைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி, அதற்குரிய கதவுகளையும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும், குறுக்குச் சட்டங்களையும் அந்தந்த இடங்களில் அமைத்தான்.

15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and to the stairs that go down from the city of David.

கொல்கோசேயின் மகனும், மிஸ்பா மாவட்டத்தின் ஆளுநனுமான சல்லூம் ஊற்று வாசலைத் திருத்திக் கட்டினான். அவன் அதைத் திரும்பக் கட்டி, கூரையை அமைத்து, அதற்குரிய கதவுகளையும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும், குறுக்குச் சட்டங்களையும் அந்தந்த இடத்தில் அமைத்தான். அத்துடன் அவன் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து செல்லுகிற படிக்கட்டுவரை, அரசனின் தோட்டத்தின் அருகேயுள்ள சீலோவாம் குளத்தின் மதிலையும் திருத்தி அமைத்தான்.

16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, to the place over against the sepulchers of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty.

அவனுக்கு அப்பால் அஸ்பூக்கின் மகனும், பெத்சூர் மாவட்டத்தின் பாதிப் பகுதிக்கு ஆளுநனுமான நெகேமியா தாவீதின் கல்லறைகளுக்கு எதிரேயுள்ள வெட்டப்பட்ட குளமும், மாவீரர் மண்டபமும் இருக்கிற இடம்வரையிலும் மதிலின் திருத்த வேலையைச் செய்தான்.

17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக பானியின் மகன் ரேகூமின் தலைமையின்கீழ் லேவியரால் திருத்த வேலைகள் செய்யப்பட்டன. அவனுக்கு அருகே கேயிலா மாவட்டத்தின் பாதிப் பகுதிக்கு ஆளுநனான அசபியா தன் மாவட்டத்தின் திருத்த வேலைகளை செய்தான்.

18 After him repaired their brothers, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக அவர்களுடைய நாட்டு மக்களான மற்ற சகோதரரால் திருத்த வேலைகள் செய்யப்பட்டன. கேயிலா மாவட்டத்தின் மறுபகுதிக்கு ஆளுநனான எனாதாதின் மகன் பவ்வாயின் தலைமையின்கீழ் திருத்த வேலைகள் செய்யப்பட்டன.

19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armory at the turning of the wall.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக மிஸ்பாவின் ஆளுநனான யெசுவாவின் மகன் ஏஸெர், மேட்டை எதிர்நோக்கியுள்ள இடத்திலிருந்து மதிலின் மூலையிலுள்ள ஆயுத களஞ்சியம்வரைக்கும் இன்னொரு பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்தாக அந்த மூலையிலிருந்து பிரதான ஆசாரியன் எலியாசீபின் வீட்டு வாசல்வரையுள்ள மற்றுமொரு பகுதியை சபாயின் மகனான பாரூக் ஆர்வத்துடன் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

அவனுக்குப்பின் அக்கோசின் மகனான உரியாவின் மகன் மெரெமோத், எலியாசீபின் வீட்டு வாசலிலிருந்து வீட்டின் முடிவு வரையுள்ள இன்னொரு பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்தான்.

22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்தாக திருத்த வேலைகள் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலுள்ள ஆசாரியர்களினால் செய்யப்பட்டன.

23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்தாக பென்யமீனும், அசூபும் தங்கள் வீடுகளின் எதிரேயுள்ள பகுதிகளில் திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்ததாக, அனனியாவின் மகனாகிய மாசெயாவின் மகன் அசரியா தன் வீட்டின் அருகே திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தான்.

24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, even to the corner.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்தாக எனாதாதின் மகன் பின்னூய் அசரியாவின் வீட்டிலிருந்து மதிலின் வளைவும் மூலையும் உள்ள இடம்வரைக்கும் உள்ள இன்னொரு பகுதியைத் திருத்திக் கட்டினான்.

25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lies out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

ஊசாயின் மகன் பாலால் வளைவிற்கு எதிரேயும், காவலரின் முற்றத்திற்கு அருகேயுள்ள உயர்ந்திருக்கும் அரண்மனையிலிருந்து வெளிப்புறமாயிருக்கிற கோபுரத்திற்கு எதிரேயும் உள்ள திருத்த வேலையைச் செய்தான். அவனுக்கு பின்பு பாரோஷின் மகன் பெதாயாவும்,

26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelled in Ophel, to the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lies out.

ஓபேல் குன்றில் வாழ்ந்த ஆலய பணியாட்களும் அதற்குப்பின் கிழக்கு நோக்கியிருக்கிற தண்ணீர் வாசலின் எதிரேயுள்ள இடம்வரை உயர்ந்துள்ள கோபுரம்வரை திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தார்கள்.

27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lies out, even to the wall of Ophel.

அவர்களை அடுத்து, தெக்கோவாவின் மனிதர் வெளிநோக்கி உயர்ந்துள்ள பெரிய கோபுரத்திலிருந்து ஓபேல் மதில்வரை மற்றுமொரு பகுதியைத் திருத்திக் கட்டினார்கள்.

28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

குதிரை வாசலுக்கு முதற்கொண்டு ஆசாரியர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தன்தன் வீட்டுக்கு முன்பாக திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தனர்.

29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்து இம்மேரின் மகன் சாதோக் தன் வீட்டின் எதிரே திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தான். அவனுக்கு அடுத்து கிழக்கு வாசலின் காவலனும், செக்கனியாவின் மகனுமான செமாயா திருத்த வேலைகளைச் செய்தான்.

30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக செலேமியாவின் மகன் அனனியாவும், சாலாப்பின் ஆறாவது மகனான ஆனூனும் இன்னொரு பகுதியைத் திருத்திக் கட்டினார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்ததாக பெரகியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம் தனது இருப்பிடத்தின் எதிரே திருத்திக் கட்டினான்.

31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son to the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.

அவனுக்கு அடுத்து பொற்கொல்லரில் ஒருவனான மல்கியா, ஆய்வு வாசலுக்கு எதிரேயுள்ள ஆலய பணியாட்கள் மற்றும் வர்த்தகர்களின் வீடுகள் வரைக்கும் மூலைக்கு மேலுள்ள அறையின் பகுதியையும் திருத்திக் கட்டினான்.

32 And between the going up of the corner to the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

மூலையிலுள்ள மேல்மண்டபத்துக்கும் செம்மறியாட்டு வாசலுக்கும் இடையிலுள்ள பகுதியை பொற்கொல்லரும் வர்த்தகரும் திருத்திக் கட்டினார்கள்.
