Nehemiah 3

1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even to the tower of Meah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananeel.

۱ و الیاشیب، رئیس کهنه و برادرانش از کاهنان برخاسته، دروازه گوسفند را بناکردند. ایشان آن را تقدیس نموده، دروازه هایش را برپا نمودند و آن را تا برج میا و برج حننئیل تقدیس نمودند.

2 And next to him built the men of Jericho. And next to them built Zaccur the son of Imri.

۲ و به پهلوی او، مردان اریحا بناکردند و به پهلوی ایشان، زکور بن امری بنا نمود.

3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

۳ و پسران هسناه، دروازه ماهی را بنا کردند. ایشان سقف آن را ساختند و درهایش را با قفلها وپشت بندهایش برپا نمودند.

4 And next to them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next to them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next to them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

۴ و به پهلوی ایشان، مریموت بن اوریا ابن حقوص تعمیر نمود و به پهلوی ایشان، مشلام بن برکیا ابن مشیزبئیل تعمیرنمود و به پهلوی ایشان، صادوق بن بعنا تعمیرنمود.

5 And next to them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their LORD.

۵ و به پهلوی ایشان، تقوعیان تعمیر کردند، اما بزرگان ایشان گردن خود را به خدمت خداوندخویش ننهادند.

6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

۶ و یویاداع بن فاسیح و مشلام بن بسودیا، دروازه کهنه را تعمیر نمودند. ایشان سقف آن را ساختند و درهایش را با قفلها وپشت بندهایش برپا نمودند.

7 And next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor on this side the river.

۷ و به پهلوی ایشان، ملتیای جبعونی و یادون میرونوتی و مردان جبعون و مصفه آنچه را که متعلق به کرسی والی ماورای نهر بود، تعمیر نمودند.

8 Next to him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next to him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem to the broad wall.

۸ و به پهلوی ایشان، عزیئیل بن حرهایا که از زرگران بود، تعمیرنمود و به پهلوی او حننیا که از عطاران بود تعمیرنمود، پس اینان اورشلیم را تا حصار عریض، مستحکم ساختند.

9 And next to them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

۹ و به پهلوی ایشان، رفایا ابن حور که رئیس نصف بلد اورشلیم بود، تعمیرنمود.

10 And next to them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next to him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

۱۰ و به پهلوی ایشان، یدایا ابن حروماف دربرابر خانه خود تعمیر نمود و به پهلوی اوحطوش بن حشبنیا، تعمیر نمود.

11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

۱۱ و ملکیا ابن حاریم و حشوب بن فحت موآب، قسمت دیگر وبرج تنورها را تعمیر نمودند.

12 And next to him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

۱۲ و به پهلوی او، شلوم بن هلوحیش رئیس نصف بلد اورشلیم، او ودخترانش تعمیر نمودند.

13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the dung gate.

۱۳ و حانون و ساکنان زانوح، دروازه وادی را تعمیر نمودند. ایشان آن را بنا کردند و درهایش را با قفلها و پشتبندهایش برپا نمودند و هزار ذراع حصار را تا دروازه خاکروبه.

14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

۱۴ و ملکیا ابن رکاب رئیس بلدبیت هکاریم، دروازه خاکروبه را تعمیر نمود. اوآن را بنا کرد و درهایش را با قفلها و پشتبندهایش برپا نمود.

15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and to the stairs that go down from the city of David.

۱۵ و شلون بن کلخوزه رئیس بلد مصفه، دروازه چشمه را تعمیر نمود. او آن را بنا کرده، سقف آن را ساخت و درهایش را با قفلها وپشت بندهایش برپا نمود و حصار برکه شلح رانزد باغ پادشاه نیز تا زینه‌ای که از شهر داود فرودمی آمد.

16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, to the place over against the sepulchers of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty.

۱۶ و بعد از او نحمیا ابن عزبوق رئیس نصف بلد بیت صور، تا برابر مقبره داود و تا برکه مصنوعه و تا بیت جباران را تعمیر نمود.

17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.

۱۷ و بعداز او لاویان، رحوم بن بانی تعمیر نمود و به پهلوی او حشبیا رئیس نصف بلد قعیله در حصه خودتعمیر نمود.

18 After him repaired their brothers, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

۱۸ و بعد از او برادران ایشان، بوای ابن حیناداد، رئیس نصف بلد قعیله تعمیر نمود.

19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armory at the turning of the wall.

۱۹ و به پهلوی او، عازر بن یشوع رئیس مصفه قسمت دیگر را در برابر فراز سلاح خانه نزدزاویه، تعمیر نمود.

20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

۲۰ و بعد از او باروک بن زبای، به صمیم قلب قسمت دیگر را از زاویه تا دروازه الیاشیب، رئیس کهنه تعمیر نمود.

21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

۲۱ و بعد از اومریموت بن اوریا ابن هقوص قسمت دیگر را ازدر خانه الیاشیب تا آخر خانه الیاشیب، تعمیرنمود.

22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

۲۲ و بعد از او کاهنان، از اهل غور تعمیرنمودند.

23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

۲۳ و بعد از ایشان، بنیامین و حشوب دربرابر خانه خود تعمیر نمودند و بعد از ایشان، عزریا ابن معسیا ابن عننیا به‌جانب خانه خودتعمیر نمود.

24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, even to the corner.

۲۴ و بعد از او، بنوی ابن حیناداد قسمت دیگر را از خانه عزریا تا زاویه و تا برجش تعمیر نمود.

25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lies out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

۲۵ و فالال بن اوزای از برابر زاویه وبرجی که از خانه فوقانی پادشاه خارج و نزدزندانخانه است، تعمیر نمود و بعد از او فدایا ابن فرعوش،

26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelled in Ophel, to the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lies out.

۲۶ و نتینیم، در عوفل تا برابر دروازه آب بسوی مشرق و برج خارجی، ساکن بودند.

27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lies out, even to the wall of Ophel.

۲۷ وبعد از او، تقوعیان قسمت دیگر را از برابر برج خارجی بزرگ تا حصار عوفل تعمیر نمودند.

28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

۲۸ وکاهنان، هر کدام در برابر خانه خود از بالای دروازه اسبان تعمیر نمودند.

29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

۲۹ و بعد از ایشان صادوق بن امیر در برابر خانه خود تعمیر نمود وبعد از او شمعیا ابن شکنیا که مستحفظ دروازه شرقی بود، تعمیر نمود.

30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.

۳۰ و بعد از او حننیا ابن شلمیا و حانون پسر ششم صالاف، قسمت دیگررا تعمیر نمودند و بعد از ایشان مشلام بن برکیا دربرابر مسکن خود، تعمیر نمود.

31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son to the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.

۳۱ و بعد او ازملکیا که یکی از زرگران بود، تا خانه های نتینیم وتجار را در برابر دروازه مفقاد تا بالاخانه برج، تعمیر نمود.

32 And between the going up of the corner to the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

۳۲ و میان بالاخانه برج و دروازه گوسفند را زرگران و تاجران، تعمیر نمودند.
