Luke 15
1 Then drew near to him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
| و چون همه باجگیران و گناهکاران به نزدش می‌آمدند تا کلام او را بشنوند، | ۱ |
2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.
| فریسیان و کاتبان، همهمه‌کنان می‌گفتند: «این شخص، گناهکارن را می‌پذیرد و با ایشان می‌خورد.» | ۲ |
3 And he spoke this parable to them, saying,
| پس برای ایشان این مثل را زده، گفت: | ۳ |
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
| «کیست از شما که صد گوسفند داشته باشد و یکی از آنها گم شود که آن نود و نه را درصحرا نگذارد و از عقب آن گمشده نرود تا آن رابیابد؟ | ۴ |
5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
| پس چون آن را یافت به شادی بر دوش خود می‌گذارد، | ۵ |
6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
| و به خانه آمده، دوستان وهمسایگان را می‌طلبد و بدیشان می‌گوید با من شادی کنید زیرا گوسفند گمشده خود را یافته‌ام. | ۶ |
7 I say to you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
| به شما می‌گویم که بر این منوال خوشی درآسمان رخ می‌نماید به‌سبب توبه یک گناهکاربیشتر از برای نود و نه عادل که احتیاج به توبه ندارند. | ۷ |
8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
| یا کدام زن است که ده درهم داشته باشدهرگاه یک درهم گم شود، چراغی افروخته، خانه را جاروب نکند و به دقت تفحص ننماید تا آن رابیابد؟ | ۸ |
9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
| و چون یافت دوستان و همسایگان خودرا جمع کرده می‌گوید با من شادی کنید زیرادرهم گمشده را پیدا کرده‌ام. | ۹ |
10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.
| همچنین به شمامی گویم شادی برای فرشتگان خدا روی می‌دهدبه‌سبب یک خطاکار که توبه کند.» | ۱۰ |
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
| باز‌گفت: «شخصی را دو پسر بود. | ۱۱ |
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. And he divided to them his living.
| روزی پسر کوچک به پدر خود گفت: ای پدر، رصداموالی که باید به من رسد، به من بده. پس اومایملک خود را بر این دو تقسیم کرد. | ۱۲ |
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
| و چندی نگذشت که آن پسر کهتر، آنچه داشت جمع کرده، به ملکی بعید کوچ کرد و به عیاشی ناهنجار، سرمایه خود را تلف نمود. | ۱۳ |
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
| و چون تمام راصرف نموده بود، قحطی سخت در آن دیارحادث گشت و او به محتاج شدن شروع کرد. | ۱۴ |
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
| پس رفته خود را به یکی از اهل آن ملک پیوست. وی او را به املاک خود فرستاد تاگرازبانی کند. | ۱۵ |
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave to him.
| و آرزو می‌داشت که شکم خودرا از خرنوبی که خوکان می‌خوردند سیر کند وهیچ‌کس او را چیزی نمی داد. | ۱۶ |
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
| «آخر به خود آمده، گفت چقدر از مزدوران پدرم نان فراوان دارند و من از گرسنگی هلاک می‌شوم، | ۱۷ |
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before you,
| برخاسته نزد پدر خود می‌روم و بدوخواهم گفت‌ای پدر به آسمان و به حضور تو گناه کرده‌ام، | ۱۸ |
19 And am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants.
| و دیگر شایسته آن نیستم که پسر توخوانده شوم، مرا چون یکی از مزدوران خودبگیر. | ۱۹ |
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
| در ساعت برخاسته به سوی پدر خودمتوجه شد. اما هنوز دور بود که پدرش او را دیده، ترحم نمود و دوان دوان آمده او را در آغوش خود کشیده، بوسید. | ۲۰ |
21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son.
| پسر وی را گفت، ای پدربه آسمان و به حضور تو گناه کرده‌ام و بعد از این لایق آن نیستم که پسر تو خوانده شوم. | ۲۱ |
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
| لیکن پدر به غلامان خود گفت، جامه بهترین را از خانه آورده بدو بپوشانید و انگشتری بر دستش کنید ونعلین بر پایهایش، | ۲۲ |
23 And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
| و گوساله پرواری را آورده ذبح کنید تا بخوریم و شادی نماییم. | ۲۳ |
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
| زیرا که این پسر من مرده بود، زنده گردید و گم شده بود، یافت شد. پس به شادی کردن شروع نمودند. | ۲۴ |
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
| اما پسر بزرگ او در مزرعه بود. چون آمده نزدیک به خانه رسید، صدای ساز و رقص راشنید. | ۲۵ |
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
| پس یکی از نوکران خود را طلبیده پرسید این چیست؟ | ۲۶ |
27 And he said to him, Your brother is come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.
| به وی عرض کرد برادرت آمده و پدرت گوساله پرواری را ذبح کرده است زیرا که او را صحیح باز‌یافت. | ۲۷ |
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him.
| ولی او خشم نموده نخواست به خانه درآید تا پدرش بیرون آمده به او التماس نمود. | ۲۸ |
29 And he answering said to his father, See, these many years do I serve you, neither transgressed I at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
| اما او در جواب پدرخود گفت، اینک سالها است که من خدمت توکرده‌ام و هرگز از حکم تو تجاوز نورزیده و هرگزبزغاله‌ای به من ندادی تا با دوستان خود شادی کنم. | ۲۹ |
30 But as soon as this your son was come, which has devoured your living with harlots, you have killed for him the fatted calf.
| لیکن چون این پسرت آمد که دولت تو رابا فاحشه‌ها تلف کرده است، برای او گوساله پرواری را ذبح کردی. | ۳۰ |
31 And he said to him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have is yours.
| او وی را گفت، ای فرزند تو همیشه با من هستی و آنچه از آن من است، مال تو است. | ۳۱ |
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
| ولی می‌بایست شادمانی کرد و مسرور شد زیرا که این برادر تو مرده بود، زنده گشت و گم شده بود، یافت گردید.» | ۳۲ |
