Leviticus 26
1 You shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither raise you up a standing image, neither shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am the LORD your God.
Não fareis para vós idolos, nem vos levantareis imagem de esculptura nem estatua, nem poreis pedra figurada na vossa terra, para inclinar-vos a ella: porque Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
2 You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
Guardareis os meus sabbados, e reverenciareis o meu sanctuario: Eu sou o Senhor.
3 If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
Se andardes nos meus estatutos, e guardardes os meus mandamentos, e os fizerdes,
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
Então eu vos darei as vossas chuvas a seu tempo; e a terra dará a sua novidade, e a arvore do campo dará o seu fructo:
5 And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time: and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
E a debulha se vos chegará á vindima, e a vindima se chegará á sementeira: e comereis o vosso pão a fartar, e habitareis seguros na vossa terra.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
Tambem darei paz na terra, e dormireis seguros, e não haverá quem vos espante: e farei cessar as más bestas da terra, e pela vossa terra não passará espada.
7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
E perseguireis os vossos inimigos, e cairão á espada diante de vós.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
Cinco de vós perseguirão um cento, e cem de vós perseguirão dez mil; e os vossos inimigos cairão á espada diante de vós.
9 For I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
E para vós olharei, e vos farei fructificar, e vos multiplicarei, e confirmarei o meu concerto comvosco.
10 And you shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
E comereis o deposito velho, depois de envelhecido; e tirareis fóra o velho por causa do novo.
11 And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
E porei o meu tabernaculo no meio de vós, e a minha alma de vós não se enfadará.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people.
E andarei no meio de vós, e eu vos serei por Deus, e vós me sereis por povo.
13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei da terra dos egypcios, para que não fosseis seus escravos: e quebrantei os timões do vosso jugo, e vos fiz andar direitos.
14 But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments;
Mas, se me não ouvirdes, e não fizerdes todos estes mandamentos,
15 And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant:
E se rejeitardes os meus estatutos, e a vossa alma se enfadar dos meus juizos, não fazendo todos os meus mandamentos, para invalidar o meu concerto.
16 I also will do this to you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
Então eu tambem vos farei isto: porei sobre vós terror, a tisica e a febre ardente, que consumam os olhos e atormentem a alma: e semeareis debalde a vossa semente, e os vossos inimigos a comerão.
17 And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you.
E porei a minha face contra vós, e sereis feridos diante de vossos inimigos; e os que vos aborrecerem de vós se assenhorearão, e fugireis, sem ninguem vos perseguir.
18 And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
E, se ainda com estas coisas não me ouvirdes, então eu proseguirei a castigar-vos sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
Porque quebrantarei a soberba da vossa força; e farei que os vossos céus sejam como ferro e a vossa terra como cobre.
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
E debalde se gastará a sua força: a vossa terra não dará a sua novidade, e as arvores da terra não darão o seu fructo.
21 And if you walk contrary to me, and will not listen to me; I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.
E se andardes contrariamente para comigo, e não me quizerdes ouvir, trazer-vos-hei pragas sete vezes mais, conforme aos vossos peccados.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
Porque enviarei entre vós as feras do campo, as quaes vos destilharão, e desfarão o vosso gado, e vos apoucarão; e os vossos caminhos serão desertos.
23 And if you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary to me;
Se ainda com estas coisas não fôrdes restaurados por mim, mas ainda andardes contrariamente comigo,
24 Then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
Eu tambem comvosco andarei contrariamente, e eu, mesmo eu, vos ferirei sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
25 And I will bring a sword on you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
Porque trarei sobre vós a espada, que executará a vingança do concerto; e ajuntados estareis nas vossas cidades: então enviarei a peste entre vós, e sereis entregues na mão do inimigo.
26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
Quando eu vos quebrantar o sustento do pão, então dez mulheres cozerão o vosso pão n'um forno, e tornar-vos-hão o vosso pão por peso; e comereis, mas não vos fartareis.
27 And if you will not for all this listen to me, but walk contrary to me;
E se com isto me não ouvirdes, mas ainda andardes contrariamente comigo,
28 Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
Tambem eu comvosco andarei contrariamente em furor; e vos castigarei sete vezes mais por causa dos vossos peccados.
29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.
Porque comereis a carne de vossos filhos, e a carne de vossas filhas comereis.
30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
E destruirei os vossos altos, e desfarei as vossas imagens do sol, e lançarei os vossos cadaveres sobre os cadaveres mortos dos vossos deuses; a minha alma se enfadará de vós.
31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the smell of your sweet odors.
E porei as vossas cidades por deserto, e assolarei os vossos sanctuarios, e não cheirarei o vosso cheiro suave.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
E assolarei a terra e se espantarão d'isso os vossos inimigos que n'ella morarem.
33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
E vos espalharei entre as nações, e desembainharei a espada após de vós; e a vossa terra será assolada, e as vossas cidades serão desertas.
34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
Então a terra folgará nos seus sabbados, todos os dias da sua assolação, e vós estareis na terra dos vossos inimigos; então a terra descançará, e folgará nos seus sabbados
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when you dwelled on it.
Todos os dias da assolação descançará, porque não descançou nos vossos sabbados, quando habitaveis n'ella.
36 And on them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.
E, quanto aos que de vós ficarem, eu metterei tal pavor nos seus corações, nas terras dos seus inimigos, que o sonido d'uma folha movida os perseguirá; e fugirão como de fugida da espada; e cairão sem ninguem os perseguir.
37 And they shall fall one on another, as it were before a sword, when none pursues: and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
E cairão uns sobre os outros como de diante da espada, sem ninguem os perseguir; e não podereis parar diante dos vossos inimigos.
38 And you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
E perecereis entre as gentes, e a terra dos vossos inimigos vos consumirá.
39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
E aquelles que entre vós ficarem se derreterão pela sua iniquidade nas terras dos vossos inimigos, e pela iniquidade de seus paes com elles se derreterão.
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to me;
Então confessarão a sua iniquidade, e a iniquidade de seus paes, com os seus trespassos, com que trespassaram contra mim; como tambem elles andaram contrariamente para comigo,
41 And that I also have walked contrary to them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
Eu tambem andei com elles contrariamente, e os fiz entrar na terra dos seus inimigos; se então o seu coração incircumciso se humilhar, e então tomarem por bem o castigo da sua iniquidade,
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
Tambem eu me lembrarei do meu concerto com Jacob, e tambem do meu concerto com Isaac, e tambem do meu concerto com Abrahão me lembrarei, e da terra me lembrarei.
43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lies desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
E a terra será desamparada d'elles, e folgará nos seus sabbados, sendo assolada por causa d'elles; e tomarão por bem o castigo da sua iniquidade, em razão mesmo de que rejeitaram os meus juizos e a sua alma se enfastiou dos meus estatutos.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
E, demais d'isto tambem, estando elles na terra dos seus inimigos, não os rejeitarei nem me enfadarei d'elles, para consumil-os e invalidar o meu concerto com elles, porque Eu sou o Senhor seu Deus.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
Antes por amor d'elles me lembrarei do concerto com os seus antepassados, que tirei da terra do Egypto perante os olhos das nações, para lhes ser por Deus: Eu sou o Senhor.
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
Estes são os estatutos, e os juizos, e as leis que deu o Senhor entre si e os filhos de Israel, no monte Sinai, pela mão de Moysés.
