Leviticus 26
1 You shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither raise you up a standing image, neither shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am the LORD your God.
൧“‘വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കരുത്; ബിംബമോ സ്തംഭമോ നാട്ടരുത്; രൂപം കൊത്തിയ യാതൊരു കല്ലും നമസ്കരിക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നാട്ടുകയും അരുത്; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
2 You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
൨നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ ആചരിക്കുകയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയും വേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
3 If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
൩“‘എന്റെ ചട്ടം ആചരിച്ച് എന്റെ കല്പന പ്രമാണിച്ച് അനുസരിച്ചാൽ
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
൪ഞാൻ തക്കസമയത്ത് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മഴ തരും; ഭൂമി വിളവു തരും; ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള വൃക്ഷവും ഫലം തരും.
5 And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time: and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
൫നിങ്ങളുടെ കറ്റമെതിക്കൽ മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നതുവരെ നില്ക്കും; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നതു വിതയ്ക്കുന്നകാലംവരെയും നില്ക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തരായി നിത്യവൃത്തികഴിച്ചു ദേശത്തു നിർഭയം വസിക്കും.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
൬ഞാൻ ദേശത്തു സമാധാനം തരും; നിങ്ങൾ കിടക്കും; ആരും നിങ്ങളെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; വാൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടക്കുകയുമില്ല.
7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
൭നിങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിങ്ങൾ ഓടിക്കും; അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വാളിനാൽ വീഴും.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
൮നിങ്ങളിൽ അഞ്ചുപേർ നൂറുപേരെ ഓടിക്കും; നിങ്ങളിൽ നൂറുപേർ പതിനായിരംപേരെ ഓടിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വാളിനാൽ വീഴും.
9 For I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
൯ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു സന്താനസമ്പന്നരാക്കി പെരുക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം സ്ഥിരമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
10 And you shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
൧൦നിങ്ങൾ പഴയ ധാന്യം ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും പുതിയതിന്റെ നിമിത്തം പഴയത് പുറത്ത് ഇറക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
11 And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
൧൧ഞാൻ എന്റെ നിവാസം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ആക്കും; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുകയില്ല.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people.
൧൨ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ദൈവവും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് ജനവും ആയിരിക്കും.
13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
൧൩നിങ്ങൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്ക് അടിമകളാകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ നുകക്കൈകളെ ഒടിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ നിവർന്നു നടക്കുമാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
14 But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments;
൧൪“‘എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കാതെയും ഈ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയും
15 And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant:
൧൫എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ധിക്കരിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം എന്റെ വിധികളെ വെറുത്തു നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിക്കാതെ എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചാൽ
16 I also will do this to you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
൧൬ഞാനും ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്യും; കണ്ണിന് മങ്ങലുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതും ജീവനെ ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഭീതി, ക്ഷയരോഗം, ജ്വരം എന്നിവ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വിത്ത് നിങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ വിതയ്ക്കും; ശത്രുക്കൾ അത് ഭക്ഷിക്കും.
17 And I will set my face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when none pursues you.
൧൭ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെനേരെ ദൃഷ്ടിവക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ശത്രുക്കളോടു തോറ്റുപോകും; നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ നിങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കും; ഓടിക്കുന്നവർ ഇല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങൾ ഓടും.
18 And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
൧൮ഇതെല്ലാം ആയിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഏഴുമടങ്ങു ശിക്ഷിക്കും.
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
൧൯ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലത്തിലുള്ള അഹങ്കാരം തകർക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ആകാശത്തെ ഇരിമ്പുപോലെയും ഭൂമിയെ ചെമ്പുപോലെയും ആക്കും.
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
൨൦നിങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തി വെറുതെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശം വിളവു തരാതെയും ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷം ഫലം കായ്ക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കും.
21 And if you walk contrary to me, and will not listen to me; I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.
൨൧നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്ന് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്ക് തക്കവണ്ണം ഏഴു മടങ്ങ് ബാധ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
൨൨ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളെ അയയ്ക്കും; അവ നിങ്ങളെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളെ എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികൾ വിജനമായി കിടക്കും.
23 And if you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary to me;
൨൩ഇവകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ബോധംവരാതെ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്നാൽ
24 Then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
൨൪ഞാനും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം ഏഴുമടങ്ങു നിങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കും.
25 And I will bring a sword on you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
൨൫എന്റെ നിയമത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികാരം നടത്തുന്ന വാൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ മഹാമാരി അയയ്ക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
൨൬ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പമെന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പത്തു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഒരടുപ്പിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പം ചുട്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തിരികെ തൂക്കിത്തരും; നിങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിച്ചാലും തൃപ്തരാവുകയില്ല.
27 And if you will not for all this listen to me, but walk contrary to me;
൨൭“‘ഇതെല്ലാമായിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കാതെ എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്നാൽ
28 Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
൨൮ഞാനും ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ ഏഴുമടങ്ങു ശിക്ഷിക്കും.
29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.
൨൯നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങൾ തിന്നും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെ മാംസവും തിന്നും.
30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
൩൦ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവം നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ഉടലിന്മേൽ ഇട്ടുകളയുകയും എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the smell of your sweet odors.
൩൧ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ പാഴ്നിലവും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ ശൂന്യവും ആക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സൗരഭ്യവാസന ഞാൻ മണക്കുകയില്ല.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
൩൨ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അതിങ്കൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടും.
33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
൩൩ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാൾ ഊരും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശം ശൂന്യമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ പാഴ്നിലമായും കിടക്കും.
34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and you be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
൩൪അങ്ങനെ ദേശം ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുകയും നിങ്ങൾ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്ത് ഇരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാളെല്ലാം അത് തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ദേശം സ്വസ്ഥമായിക്കിടന്നു തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും.
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when you dwelled on it.
൩൫നിങ്ങൾ അവിടെ വസിച്ചിരുന്നപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളിൽ അതിന് അനുഭവമാകാതിരുന്ന സ്വസ്ഥത അത് ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുന്ന നാളെല്ലാം അനുഭവിക്കും.
36 And on them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursues.
൩൬ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തുവച്ച് ഭീരുത്വം വരുത്തും; ഇല പറക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിട്ട് അവർ ഓടും; വാളിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് ഓടുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ ഓടും; ആരും ഓടിക്കാതെ അവർ ഓടി വീഴും.
37 And they shall fall one on another, as it were before a sword, when none pursues: and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
൩൭ആരും ഓടിക്കാതെ അവർ വാളിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് എന്നപോലെ ഓടി ഒരുവന്റെ മേൽ ഒരുവൻ വീഴും; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്ക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ശക്തി ഉണ്ടാവുകയുമില്ല.
38 And you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
൩൮നിങ്ങൾ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നശിക്കും; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങളെ തിന്നുകളയും.
39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
൩൯നിങ്ങളിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തുവച്ച് തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളാൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളാലും അവർ അവരോടുകൂടി ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും.
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to me;
൪൦അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യവും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യവും അവർ എന്നോട് ദ്രോഹിച്ച ദ്രോഹവും അവർ എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്നതുകൊണ്ട്
41 And that I also have walked contrary to them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
൪൧ഞാനും അവർക്ക് വിരോധമായി നടന്ന് അവരെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്തു വരുത്തിയതും ഏറ്റുപറയുകയും അവരുടെ പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയം അപ്പോൾ താഴുകയും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
൪൨ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ഓർക്കും; യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും അബ്രാഹാമിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും; ദേശത്തെയും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും.
43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lies desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
൪൩അവർ ദേശം വിട്ടുപോയിട്ട് അവരില്ലാതെ അത് ശൂന്യമായി കിടന്നു തന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ അനുഭവിക്കും. അവർ എന്റെ വിധികളെ ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും അവർക്ക് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കും.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
൪൪എങ്കിലും അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ദേശത്ത് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവരെ നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കുവാനും അവരോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിക്കുവാനും തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ല, അവരെ വെറുക്കുകയുമില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
൪൫ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനു ജനതകൾ കാൺകെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന അവരുടെ പൂർവ്വികന്മാരോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമം ഞാൻ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഓർക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു’”.
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
൪൬യഹോവ സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽവച്ച് തനിക്കും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും തമ്മിൽ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം വച്ചിട്ടുള്ള നിയമങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണങ്ങളും ഇവ ആകുന്നു.
