Jonah 2
1 Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
Markaasaa Yoonis Rabbigii Ilaahiisa ahaa baryay, isagoo ku dhex jira calooshii kalluunka.
2 And said, I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and you heard my voice. (Sheol h7585)
Oo wuxuu yidhi, Dhibaatadayda aawadeed ayaan Rabbiga ugu yeedhay, Isna wuu ii jawaabay. Waxaan ka dhex qayliyey She'ool uurkiisa, Adna codkaygaad maqashay. (Sheol h7585)
3 For you had cast me into the deep, in the middle of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all your billows and your waves passed over me.
Waayo, waxaad igu dhex tuurtay moolka iyo badda uurkeeda. Hareerahaygana waxaa ku wareegsanaa daad, Hirarkaagii iyo mawjadahaagii oo dhammuna way i dul mareen.
4 Then I said, I am cast out of your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.
Kolkaasaan idhi, Indhahaaga hortooda waa layga tuuray; Welise waxaan mar kale eegayaa macbudkaaga quduuskaa.
5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
Biyihii way i hareerayeen xataa naftayda, Moolkiina wuu igu wareegsanaa; Madaxaygana waxaa ku duudduubnaa caws badeed.
6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet have you brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
Waxaan hoos ugu dhaadhacay buuraha guntooda; Oo weligay waxaa i awday dhulkii iyo gudbayaashiisiiba; Laakiinse, Rabbiyow, Ilaahayow, noloshaydii waxaad ka soo bixisay yamayskii.
7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
Markii naftaydu itaal darnaatay ayaan ku xusuustay, Rabbiyow; Oo baryadaydii adigay kuu timid, oo waxay kuugu soo gashay macbudkaaga quduuskaa.
8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Kuwa waxyaalaha beenta ah oo aan micne lahayn ku fikiraa Waxay ka tagaan naxariistoodii.
9 But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Aniguse codka mahadnaqidda ayaan allabari kuugu bixin doonaa; Wixii aan nidrayna waan bixinayaa. Badbaado waxaa leh Rabbiga.
10 And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
