< John 10 >
1 Truly, truly, I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
“Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo, onipa biara a ɔmfa nnwammuo ɛkwan ano na ɔforo kɔ mu no yɛ owifoɔ.
2 But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Onipa a ɔfa ɛkwan ano kɔ mu no ne odwanhwɛfoɔ no.
3 To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
Ɛpono no anohwɛfoɔ no bue ɛpono no ma no, na sɛ ɔfrɛ nnwan no nso a, wɔte ne nne ma ɔde wɔn firi adi.
4 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
Sɛ ɔde wɔn firi adi a, ɔdi nnwan no anim na nnwan no nso di nʼakyi, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔte ne nne.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Wɔrenni onipa foforɔ biara akyi. Na sɛ ɔfrɛ wɔn a, wɔremma, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnte ne nne.”
6 This parable spoke Jesus to them: but they understood not what things they were which he spoke to them.
Yesu buu wɔn saa bɛ yi nanso nnipa no ante no ase.
7 Then said Jesus to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn bio sɛ, “Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo sɛ, mene nnwammuo no ano ɛpono no.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
Wɔn a wɔdii mʼanim kane no yɛ awifoɔ ne adwotwafoɔ, ɛno enti, nnwan no ante wɔn nne, anni wɔn akyi.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Mene ɛpono no. Obiara a ɔnam me so bɛwura mu no bɛnya nkwa; wɔbɛwura mu asane afiri adi na wɔbɛnya adidibea.
10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Owifoɔ ba a, ɔbɛwia anaasɛ ɔbɛdi awu anaasɛ ɔbɛsɛe adeɛ. Me deɛ, maba, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mobɛnya nkwa a ɛho nni asɛm biara.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
“Mene odwanhwɛfoɔ pa no. Odwanhwɛfoɔ pa no ne obi a ɔtumi de ne nkwa to hɔ ma ne nnwan.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
Obi a wɔabɔ no paa sɛ ɔnhwɛ nnwan so no nyɛ nnwan no wura ɛno enti, sɛ ɔhunu sɛ pataku reba a, ɔdwane gya nnwan no hɔ, na pataku no to hyɛ nnwan no so ma wɔbɔ pete.
13 The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep.
Ɔpaani no dwane ɛfiri sɛ, wɔabɔ no paa, na nnwan no yiedie mfa ne ho.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
“Mene odwanhwɛfoɔ pa no. Menim me nnwan na me nnwan nso nim me,
15 As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
sɛdeɛ Agya no nim me na me nso menim Agya no. Masiesie me ho nso sɛ mɛwu ama nnwan no.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
Nnwan afoforɔ bi wɔ hɔ a wɔyɛ me dea nanso wɔnnya mmɛkaa saa nnwankuo yi ho. Ɛsɛ sɛ mede wɔn nso bɛka saa nnwankuo yi ho. Wɔbɛtie me nne na wɔbɛyɛ nnwankuo baako a odwanhwɛfoɔ baako pɛ na ɔhwɛ wɔn so.
17 Therefore does my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Agya no dɔ me ɛfiri sɛ, masiesie me ho sɛ mede me nkwa bɛto hɔ sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a daakye me nsa bɛka bio.
18 No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Obiara rentumi nnye me nkwa mfiri me nsam. Me ara me pɛ mu na mede bɛma. Mewɔ tumi sɛ mede ma na mewɔ tumi nso sɛ mesane gye bio. Yei ne deɛ mʼAgya ahyɛ me sɛ menyɛ no.”
19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
Asɛm a Yesu kaeɛ no enti, ɛmaa mpaapaemu baa Yudafoɔ no mu.
20 And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him?
Wɔn mu pii kaa sɛ, “Ɔwɔ honhommɔne! Nʼadwene mu ka no! Adɛn enti na motie no?”
21 Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
Afoforɔ nso kaa sɛ, “Onipa a ɔwɔ honhommɔne rentumi nkasa sei! Ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na obi a ɔwɔ honhommɔne bɛtumi ama onifirani ahunu adeɛ?”
22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
Awɔberɛ bi mu a Asɔredandwira duruu wɔ Yerusalem no,
23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.
Yesu kɔpasee asɔredan no mu baabi a wɔfrɛ no Salomo Abrannaa no so hɔ.
24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said to him, How long do you make us to doubt? If you be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Yudafoɔ no bɛtwaa ne ho hyiaeɛ kaa sɛ, “Wobɛma yɛatwɛn akɔsi da bɛn? Sɛ wone Kristo no a, pae mu ka kyerɛ yɛn.”
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Maka akyerɛ mo dada, nanso monnnye me nni. Me nnwuma a menam mʼAgya tumi mu yɛ no di me ho adanseɛ,
26 But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you.
nanso monnnye nni, ɛfiri sɛ, monnyɛ me nnwan.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Me nnwan te me nne, me nso menim wɔn na wɔdi mʼakyi.
28 And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Mema wɔn nkwa a ɛnni awieeɛ a wɔrenwu da, na obi rentumi nnye wɔn mfiri me nsam. (aiōn , aiōnios )
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
MʼAgya a ɔde wɔn maa me no wɔ tumi sene obiara, na obiara rentumi nnye wɔn mfiri me nsam.
30 I and my Father are one.
Me ne Agya no yɛ baako.”
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Yudafoɔ no sane tasee aboɔ sɛ anka wɔde rebɛsi no.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do you stone me?
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mayɛ nnwuma pa pii a Agya no de hyɛɛ me nsa sɛ menyɛ no ama moahunu, na emu deɛ ɛwɔ he ho enti na mopɛ sɛ mosi me aboɔ yi?”
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God.
Yudafoɔ no buaa no sɛ, “Ɛnyɛ wo nnwuma pa bi a woayɛ no enti na yɛpɛ sɛ yɛsi wo aboɔ, na mmom, wʼabususɛm a wokaeɛ no enti. Woyɛ onipa dasani nso woyɛ wo ho sɛ Onyankopɔn!”
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods?
Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Wɔatwerɛ wɔ mo ara ankasa mo mmara mu sɛ, Onyankopɔn kaa sɛ, ‘Moyɛ anyame.’
35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Ɛno enti, sɛ Onyankopɔn nam anyamesɛm a ɛyɛ nokorɛ so frɛ wɔn a Onyankopɔn asɛm baa wɔn nkyɛn no sɛ ‘anyame’ a,
36 Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?
ɛyɛ dɛn na sɛ deɛ Agya no somaa no baa ewiase no ka sɛ, mene Onyankopɔn Ba no a mose waka abususɛm?
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
Sɛ menyɛ nnwuma a mʼAgya pɛ sɛ meyɛ no deɛ a, ɛnneɛ monnnye me nni.
38 But if I do, though you believe not me, believe the works: that you may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Nanso, sɛ meyɛ mʼAgya no nnwuma na sɛ monnye me nni mpo a, monnye nnwuma no nni sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, mobɛgye adi sɛ Agya no wɔ me mu na me nso mewɔ ne mu.”
39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
Nkurɔfoɔ no pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyere no bio, nanso wɔantumi.
40 And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he stayed.
Yesu sane tware kɔɔ Yordan agya wɔ faako a Yohane bɔ asu no kɔtenaa hɔ.
41 And many resorted to him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spoke of this man were true.

42 And many believed on him there.
