Jeremiah 5
1 Run you to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if you can find a man, if there be any that executes judgment, that seeks the truth; and I will pardon it.
Кутреераць улицеле Иерусалимулуй, уйтаци-вэ, ынтребаць ши кэутаць ын пеце, дакэ се гэсеште ун ом, дакэ есте вреунул каре сэ ынфэптуяскэ че есте дрепт, каре сэ се цинэ де адевэр, ши вой ерта Иерусалимул.
2 And though they say, The LORD lives; surely they swear falsely.
Кяр кынд зик: ‘Виу есте Домнул!’ ей журэ стрымб.”
3 O LORD, are not your eyes on the truth? you have stricken them, but they have not grieved; you have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
Доамне, ну вэд окий Тэй адевэрул? Ту-й ловешть, ши ей ну симт нимик; ый нимичешть, ши ну вор сэ я ынвэцэтурэ; яу о ынфэцишаре май таре декыт стынка, ну вор сэ се ынтоаркэ ла Тине.
4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
Еу зичям: „Нумай чей мичь сунт аша; ей лукрязэ фэрэ минте, пентру кэ ну куноск каля Домнулуй, Леӂя Думнезеулуй лор!
5 I will get me to the great men, and will speak to them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.
Мэ вой дуче деч ла чей марь ши ле вой ворби, кэч ей куноск каля Домнулуй, Леӂя Думнезеулуй лор!” Дар тоць ау сфэрымат жугул ши ау рупт легэтуриле.
6 Why a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goes out there shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
Де ачея ый омоарэ леул дин пэдуре ши-й нимичеште лупул дин пустиу. Стэ ла пындэ пардосул ынаинтя четэцилор лор; тоць чей че вор еши дин еле вор фи сфышияць, кэч фэрэделеӂиле лор сунт мулте, абатериле лор с-ау ынмулцит!
7 How shall I pardon you for this? your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.
„Кум сэ те ерт?”, зиче Домнул. „Копиий тэй М-ау пэрэсит ши журэ пе думнезей каре н-ау фиинцэ. Ши, дупэ че ле-ам примит журэминтеле, се дедау ла прякурвие ши аляргэ ку грэмада ын каса курвей!
8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbor’s wife.
Ка ниште кай бине хрэниць, каре аляргэ ынкоаче ши ынколо, фиекаре некязэ дупэ неваста апроапелуй сэу.
9 Shall I not visit for these things? says the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Сэ ну педепсеск Еу ачесте лукрурь”, зиче Домнул, „сэ ну Мэ рэзбун Еу пе ун асеменя попор?
10 Go you up on her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’s.
Суици-вэ пе зидуриле ей ши дэрымаць, дар ну нимичиць де тот! Луаци-й бутучий ачештя, кэч ну сунт ай Домнулуй!
11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
Кэч каса луй Исраел ши каса луй Иуда Мь-ау фост некрединчоасе”, зиче Домнул.
12 They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come on us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
Ей тэгэдуеск пе Домнул ши зик: „Ну есте Ел! Ши ну ва вени ненорочиря песте ной; ну вом ведя нич сабия, нич фоаметя.
13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done to them.
Пророчий сунт вынт, ши ну Думнезеу ворбеште ын ей. Аша сэ ли се факэ ши лор!”
14 Why thus says the LORD God of hosts, Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Де ачея, аша ворбеште Домнул Думнезеул оштирилор: „Пентру кэ аць зис лукрул ачеста, ятэ, Кувынтул Меу ыл фак фок ын гура та ши попорул ачеста, лемне, ка сэ-й ардэ фокул ачеста.
15 See, I will bring a nation on you from far, O house of Israel, says the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you know not, neither understand what they say.
Ятэ, адук де департе ун ням ымпотрива воастрэ, касэ а луй Исраел”, зиче Домнул, „ун ням таре, ун ням стрэвекь, ун ням а кэруй лимбэ н-о куношть ши але кэруй ворбе ну ле причепь.
16 Their quiver is as an open sepulcher, they are all mighty men.
Толба луй ку сэӂець есте ка ун мормынт дескис; тоць сунт ниште витежь.
17 And they shall eat up your harvest, and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat: they shall eat up your flocks and your herds: they shall eat up your vines and your fig trees: they shall impoverish your fenced cities, wherein you trusted, with the sword.
Ел ыць ва мынка сечеришул ши пыня, ыць ва мынка фиий ши фийчеле, ыць ва мынка оиле ши боий, ыць ва мынка вия ши смокинул ши ыць ва трече прин сабие четэциле ынтэрите, ын каре те ынкрезь.
18 Nevertheless in those days, says the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.
Дар, ши ын зилеле ачеля”, зиче Домнул, „ну вэ вой нимичи де тот.
19 And it shall come to pass, when you shall say, Why does the LORD our God all these things to us? then shall you answer them, Like as you have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
Дакэ вець ынтреба атунч: ‘Пентру че не-а фэкут тоате ачестя Домнул Думнезеул ностру?’, аша ле вей рэспунде: ‘Дупэ кум вой М-аць пэрэсит ши аць служит унор думнезей стрэинь ын цара воастрэ, тот аша акум вець служи унор стрэинь ынтр-о царэ каре ну есте а воастрэ!’
20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
Спунець лукрул ачеста касей луй Иаков, вестици-л ын Иуда ши зичець:
21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
‘Аскултаць лукрул ачеста, попор фэрэ минте ши фэрэ инимэ, каре аре окь, ши ну веде, урекь, ши н-ауде!
22 Fear you not me? says the LORD: will you not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
Ну воиць сэ вэ темець де Мине’, зиче Домнул, ‘ну воиць сэ тремураць ынаинтя Мя? Еу ам пус мэрий ка хотар нисипул, хотар вешник, пе каре ну требуе сэ-л трякэ. Ши кяр дакэ валуриле ей се ынфурие, тотушь сунт непутинчоасе; урлэ, дар ну-л трек.
23 But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.
Попорул ачеста ынсэ аре о инимэ дырзэ ши рэзврэтитэ; се рэскоалэ ши плякэ
24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that gives rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
ши ну зик ын инима лор: «Сэ не темем де Домнул Думнезеул ностру, каре дэ плоае ла време, плоае тимпурие ши тырзие, ши не пэстрязэ сэптэмыниле хотэрыте пентру сечериш.»
25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you.
Дин причина нелеӂюирилор воастре н-ау лок ачесте орындуирь, пэкателе воастре вэ липсеск де ачесте бунэтэць.
26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that sets snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
Кэч ын попорул Меу сунт оамень рэй; ей пындеск ка пэсэрарул каре ынтинде лацурь, ынтинд курсе ши принд оамень.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
Кум се умпле о коливие де пэсэрь, аша се умплу каселе лор прин виклешуг; аша ажунг ей путерничь ши богаць.
28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yes, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
Се ынграшэ, луческ де грэсиме; ынтрек орьче мэсурэ ын рэу, ну апэрэ причина, причина орфанулуй, ка сэ ле мяргэ бине, ну фак дрептате челор липсиць.
29 Shall I not visit for these things? says the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Сэ ну педепсеск Еу ачесте лукрурь’, зиче Домнул, ‘сэ ну-Мь рэзбун Еу пе ун асеменя попор?’
30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
Грозаве лукрурь, урычоасе лукрурь се фак ын царэ.
31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end thereof?
Пророчий пророческ неадевэрурь, преоций стэпынеск ку ажуторул лор, ши попорулуй Меу ый плак ачесте лукрурь. Дар че вець фаче ла урмэ?
