Isaiah 33

1 Woe to you that spoil, and you were not spoiled; and deal treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with you! when you shall cease to spoil, you shall be spoiled; and when you shall make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with you.

۱ وای بر تو‌ای غارتگر که غارت نشدی وای خیانت کاری که با تو خیانت نورزیدند. هنگامی که غارت را به اتمام رسانیدی غارت خواهی شد و زمانی که از خیانت نمودن دست برداشتی به تو خیانت خواهند ورزید.

2 O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for you: be you their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

۲ ‌ای خداوند بر ما ترحم فرما زیرا که منتظر تومی باشیم و هر بامداد بازوی ایشان باش و در زمان تنگی نیز نجات ما بشو.

3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of yourself the nations were scattered.

۳ از آواز غوغا، قوم هاگریختند و چون خویشتن را برافرازی امت هاپراکنده خواهند شد.

4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run on them.

۴ و غارت شما را جمع خواهند کرد بطوری که موران جمع می‌نمایند وبر آن خواهند جهید بطوری که ملخها می‌جهند.

5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwells on high: he has filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

۵ خداوند متعال می‌باشد زانرو که دراعلی علیین ساکن است و صهیون را از انصاف وعدالت مملو خواهد ساخت.

6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

۶ و فراوانی نجات وحکمت و معرفت استقامت اوقات تو خواهد شد. و ترس خداوند خزینه او خواهد بود.

7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.

۷ اینک شجاعان ایشان در بیرون فریاد می‌کنند و رسولان سلامتی زار‌زار گریه می‌نمایند.

8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceases: he has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man.

۸ شاهراههاویران می‌شود و راه گذریان تلف می‌گردند. عهدرا شکسته است و شهرها را خوار نموده، به مردمان اعتنا نکرده است.

9 The earth mourns and languishes: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

۹ زمین ماتم‌کنان کاهیده شده است و لبنان خجل گشته، تلف گردیده است و شارون مثل بیابان شده و باشان و کرمل برگهای خود را ریخته‌اند.

10 Now will I rise, says the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

۱۰ خداوند می‌گوید که الان برمی خیزم و حال خود را برمی افرازم و اکنون متعال خواهم گردید.

11 You shall conceive chaff, you shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

۱۱ و شما از کاه حامله شده، خس خواهید زایید. و نفس شما آتشی است که شما را خواهدسوزانید.

12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

۱۲ و قوم‌ها مثل آهک سوخته و مانندخارهای قطع شده که از آتش مشتعل گرددخواهند شد.

13 Hear, you that are far off, what I have done; and, you that are near, acknowledge my might.

۱۳ ‌ای شما که دور هستید آنچه را که کرده‌ام بشنوید و‌ای شما که نزدیک می‌باشید جبروت مرا بدانید.

14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

۱۴ گناه کارانی که در صهیون اندمی ترسند و لرزه منافقان را فرو گرفته است، (ومی گویند): کیست از ما که در آتش سوزنده ساکن خواهد شد و کیست از ما که در نارهای جاودانی ساکن خواهد گردید؟

15 He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil;

۱۵ اما آنکه به صداقت سالک باشد و به استقامت تکلم نماید و سود ظلم را خوار شمارد و دست خویش را از گرفتن رشوه بیفشاند و گوش خود را از اصغای خون ریزی ببندد و چشمان خود را از دیدن بدیها بر هم کند،

16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

۱۶ او در مکان های بلند ساکن خواهد شد وملجای او ملاذ صخره‌ها خواهد بود. نان او داده خواهد شد و آب او ایمن خواهد بود.

17 Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

۱۷ چشمانت پادشاه را در زیباییش خواهددید و زمین بی‌پایان را خواهد نگریست.

18 Your heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

۱۸ دل تومتذکر آن خوف خواهد شد (وخواهی گفت ): کجا است نویسنده و کجا است وزن کننده (خراج ) و کجا است شمارنده برجها.

19 You shall not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than you can perceive; of a stammering tongue, that you can not understand.

۱۹ قوم ستم پیشه و قوم دشوار لغت را که نمی توانی شنید والکن زبان را که نمی توانی فهمید بار دیگرنخواهی دید.

20 Look on Zion, the city of our solemnities: your eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

۲۰ صهیون شهر جشن مقدس ما راملاحظه نما. و چشمانت اورشلیم مسکن سلامتی را خواهد دید یعنی خیمه‌ای را که منتقل نشود ومیخهایش کنده نگردد و هیچکدام از طنابهایش گسیخته نشود.

21 But there the glorious LORD will be to us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

۲۱ بلکه در آنجا خداوندذوالجلال برای ما مکان جویهای آب و نهرهای وسیع خواهد بود که در آن هیچ کشتی با پاروهاداخل نخواهد شد و سفینه بزرگ از آن عبورنخواهد کرد.

22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

۲۲ زیرا خداوند داور ما است. خداوند شریعت دهنده ما است. خداوند پادشاه ما است پس ما را نجات خواهد داد.

23 Your tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

۲۳ ریسمانهای تو سست بود که پایه دکل خود رانتوانست محکم نگاه دارد و بادبان را نتوانست بگشاید، آنگاه غارت بسیار تقسیم شد و لنگان غنیمت را بردند.

24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

۲۴ لیکن ساکن آن نخواهد گفت که بیمار هستم و گناه قومی که در آن ساکن باشندآمرزیده خواهد شد.
