Genesis 25
1 Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
၁အာဗြဟံသည်ကေတုရနာမည်ရှိသော မိန်းမနှင့်နောက်ထပ်အိမ်ထောင်ပြု၏။-
2 And she bore him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
၂ထိုမိန်းမသည်ဇိမရံ၊ ယုတ်ရှန်၊ မေဒန်၊ မိဒျန်၊ ဣရှဗက်၊ ရှုအာတို့ကိုဖွားမြင်လေသည်။-
3 And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
၃ယုတ်ရှန်၏သားများမှာရှေဘနှင့်ဒေဒန်တို့ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။ ဒေဒန်၏အဆက်အနွယ်များမှာ အာရှုရိမ်အမျိုးသား၊ လေတုရှိမ်အမျိုးသား၊ လုမ်မိမ်အမျိုးသားတို့ဖြစ်ကြသည်။-
4 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
၄မိဒျန်၏သားများမှာဧဖာ၊ ဧဖေရ၊ ဟာနုတ်၊ အဘိဒနှင့်ဧလဒါတို့ဖြစ်ကြသည်။ ထိုသူ အားလုံးတို့သည်ကားကေတုရ၏အဆက် အနွယ်များဖြစ်ကြသတည်း။
5 And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac.
၅အာဗြဟံသည်မိမိ၏ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာရှိသမျှကို ဣဇာက်အားအမွေပေး၏။-
6 But to the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, to the east country.
၆သို့ရာတွင်သူအသက်ရှင်စဉ်အခြားသောမယား တို့နှင့်ရသောသားတို့အားလည်း လက်ဆောင်များ ကိုပေး၍ဣဇာက်နှင့်ဝေးရာအရှေ့ပြည်သို့ပြောင်း ရွှေ့နေထိုင်စေသည်။
7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred three score and fifteen years.
၇အာဗြဟံသည်အသက်တစ်ရာ့ခုနစ်ဆယ်ငါး နှစ်ရှိသော်အိုမင်းလျက်၊ နေ့ရက်ကာလများစွာ ပြည့်စုံခြင်းနှင့်တကွ၊ နောက်ဆုံးထွက်သက်ကို ရှူ၍မိမိလူမျိုးစုနှင့်စုဝေးခွင့်ရလေ၏။-
8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
၈
9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
၉သားများဖြစ်ကြသောဣဇာက်နှင့်ဣရှမေလ တို့သည် မံရေမြို့အရှေ့ဘက်ရှိဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသား ဇောရ၏သားဧဖရုန်ပိုင်ခဲ့သောမြေကွက်တွင် မပ္ပေလဂူ၌ဖခင်ကိုသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြ၏။-
10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
၁၀မြေကွက်မှာဟိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့ထံမှအာဗြဟံ ဝယ်ယူခဲ့သောမြေကွက်ဖြစ်၏။ စာရာကိုသင်္ဂြိုဟ် ရာသင်္ချိုင်းတွင်အာဗြဟံကိုသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ကြ၏။-
11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelled by the well Lahairoi.
၁၁အာဗြဟံကွယ်လွန်ပြီးနောက်``ငါ့ကိုမြင် တော်မူသည့်အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောအရှင် ၏ရေတွင်း'' အနီး၌နေထိုင်သောဣဇာက်ကို ဘုရားသခင်ကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူ၏။
12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bore to Abraham:
၁၂အာဗြဟံနှင့်စာရာ၏ကျွန်မအီဂျစ်အမျိုး သမီးဟာဂရတို့ရသောသားဣရှမေလ၏ သားစဉ်မြေးဆက်တို့ကိုဖော်ပြပေအံ့။-
13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
၁၃ဣရှမေလ၏ကြီးစဉ်ငယ်လိုက်သားများ၏ နာမည်များမှာသားဦးနဗာယုတ်၊ ကေဒါ၊ အာဒဗေလ၊ မိဗသံ၊-
14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
၁၄မိရှမ၊ ဒုမာ၊ မာစ၊-
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
၁၅ဟာဒဒ်၊ တေမ၊ ယေတုရ၊ နာဖိရှနှင့်ကေဒမာ တို့ဖြစ်ကြသည်။-
16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
၁၆ဣရှမေလ၏သားတို့သည်အနွယ်တစ်ဆယ့် နှစ်မျိုးတို့၏ဖခင်များဖြစ်ကြ၍ သူတို့နေ ထိုင်ရာကျေးရွာနှင့်စခန်းချရာအရပ်များ ကိုသူတို့၏နာမည်များဖြင့်ခေါ်တွင်ကြလေ သည်။-
17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered to his people.
၁၇ဣရှမေလသည်အသက်တစ်ရာ့သုံးဆယ့်ခုနစ် နှစ်ရှိသော်ကွယ်လွန်လေသည်။-
18 And they dwelled from Havilah to Shur, that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brothers.
၁၈ဣရှမေလ၏အဆက်အနွယ်တို့သည်အီဂျစ် ပြည်အရှေ့ဘက်အာရှုရိပြည်သို့သွားရာလမ်း တွင် ဟဝိလမြို့နှင့်ရှုရမြို့အကြားရှိဒေသ တွင်နေထိုင်ကြသည်။ သူတို့သည်အာဗြဟံ၏ အခြားသောအဆက်အနွယ်တို့နှင့်တသီး တခြားနေထိုင်ကြလေသည်။
19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham begat Isaac:
၁၉အာဗြဟံသားဣဇာက်၏အတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိကိုဖော်ပြ ပေအံ့။-
20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
၂၀ဣဇာက်သည်အသက်လေးဆယ်ရှိသောအခါ ပါဒနာရံပြည်မှ ရှုရိအမျိုးသားဗေသွေလ ၏သမီး၊ လာဗန်၏နှမရေဗက္ကနှင့်အိမ်ထောင် ပြုလေသည်။-
21 And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
၂၁ရေဗက္ကတွင်သားသမီးမထွန်းကားသဖြင့် ဣဇာက် သည်ထာဝရဘုရားထံ၌သားသမီးဆုကို တောင်းလေသည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သူ၏ ဆုတောင်းသံကိုနားညောင်းတော်မူ၍ရေဗက္က ၌ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲလေ၏။-
22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
၂၂သူ၏ပဋိသန္ဓေမှာကလေးအမြွှာတည်၍ထို ကလေးတို့သည်မမွေးဖွားမီက အမိ၏ဝမ်း ထဲမှာအချင်းချင်းအားပြိုင်ကြ၏။ ထိုအခါ ရေဗက္ကက``ကျွန်မတွင်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤသို့ ဖြစ်ရသနည်း'' ဟုဆို၍ထာဝရဘုရား ထံလျှောက်ထားလေသည်။
23 And the LORD said to her, Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရားကရေဗက္ကအား ``သင်၏ဝမ်းထဲ၌လူနှစ်မျိုးရှိ၏။ သင်သည်အချင်းချင်းပြိုင်ဆိုင်မည့် လူမျိုးနှစ်မျိုးကိုဖွားမြင်မည်။ လူမျိုးတစ်မျိုးသည်အခြားတစ်မျိုးထက် ခွန်အားကြီးမည်။ အကြီးဖြစ်သူကအငယ်၏အစေကိုခံ ရမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
၂၄ရေဗက္ကသည်သားဖွားချိန်စေ့သောအခါ သား အမြွှာကိုဖွားမြင်လေသည်။-
25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
၂၅အဦးဖွားသောသားသည်အဆင်းနီ၍အမွေး ထူသဖြင့်ဧသောဟုနာမည်မှည့်လေသည်။-
26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was three score years old when she bore them.
၂၆ဒုတိယသားသည်ဧသော၏ဖနောင့်ကိုဆုပ် ကိုင်လျက်မွေးဖွားလာသဖြင့် ယာကုပ်ဟုနာ မည်မှည့်လေသည်။ ထိုသားများမွေးဖွားသော အခါဣဇာက်သည်အသက်ခြောက်ဆယ်ရှိပြီ ဖြစ်၏။
27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
၂၇သူငယ်တို့သည်လည်းကြီးပြင်းလာကြ၏။ ဧသောသည်တော၌ကျက်စားသောမုဆိုး ကောင်းဖြစ်လာ၏။ ယာကုပ်မူကားအိမ်တွင် အေးချမ်းစွာနေသောသူဖြစ်၏။-
28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
၂၈ဣဇာက်သည်ဧသောအမဲလိုက်၍ရသော အမဲကိုနှစ်သက်သဖြင့် ဧသောကိုချစ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ရေဗက္ကသည်ယာကုပ်ကိုချစ်၏။
29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
၂၉တစ်နေ့သ၌ယာကုပ်သည်ပဲဟင်းကိုချက်နေ စဉ် ဧသောသည်အမဲလိုက်ရာမှပြန်ရောက် လာ၏။ သူသည်ဆာလောင်သဖြင့်၊-
30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray you, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
၃၀ယာကုပ်အား``ငါအလွန်ဆာလောင်၏။ ထိုပဲ ဟင်းအနီကိုငါစားပါရစေ'' ဟုတောင်း လေသည်။ (ထို့ကြောင့်သူ့အားဧဒုံနာမည် ဖြင့်ခေါ်တွင်ကြ၏။)
31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day your birthright.
၃၁ထိုအခါယာကုပ်က``သားဦးအရာကို ပေးလျှင်ဟင်းကိုပေးမည်'' ဟုဆိုလေသည်။
32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
၃၂ဧသောက``ငါသည်သေလုအောင်ဆာနေပြီ။ သားဦးအရာသည်ငါ့အဖို့မည်ကဲ့သို့ အကျိုးထူးရှိနိုင်မည်နည်း။ သားဦးအရာ ကိုယူလော့'' ဟုပြန်ဖြေ၏။
33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he swore to him: and he sold his birthright to Jacob.
၃၃ယာကုပ်က``သင်၏သားဦးအရာကိုပေးမည် ဟုဦးစွာကတိသစ္စာဆိုပါ'' ဟုပြောသည်။ ဧသောသည်ကတိသစ္စာဆို၍သားဦး အရာကိုယာကုပ်အားပေးလိုက်၏။-
34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
၃၄ထိုအခါယာကုပ်ကမုန့်နှင့်ပဲဟင်းကိုသူ့အား ပေး၍သူသည်စားသောက်ပြီးလျှင်ထွက်သွား လေ၏။ ထိုသို့လျှင်ဧသောသည်မိမိ၏သားဦး အရာကိုမထီလေးစားပြုသတည်း။
