Ezekiel 5

1 And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass on your head and on your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

۱ بگیر و آن را مثل استره حجام به جهت خود بکار برده، آن را بر سر و ریش خود بگذران وترازویی گرفته، مویها را تقسیم کن.

2 You shall burn with fire a third part in the middle of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

۲ و چون روزهای محاصره را به اتمام رسانیده باشی، یک ثلث را در میان شهر به آتش بسوزان و یک ثلث راگرفته، اطراف آن را با تیغ بزن و ثلث دیگر را به بادها بپاش و من در عقب آنها شمشیری خواهم فرستاد.

3 You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.

۳ و اندکی از آن را گرفته، آنها را در دامن خود ببند.

4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

۴ و باز قدری از آنها را بگیر و آنها را درمیان آتش انداخته، آنها را به آتش بسوزان وآتشی برای تمام خاندان اسرائیل از آن بیرون خواهد آمد.»

5 Thus says the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the middle of the nations and countries that are round about her.

۵ خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «من این اورشلیم را در میان امت‌ها قرار دادم و کشورها رابهر طرف آن.

6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

۶ و او از احکام من بدتر از امت‌ها واز فرایض من بدتر از کشورهایی که گرداگرد اومی باشد، عصیان ورزیده است زیرا که اهل او احکام مرا ترک کرده، به فرایض من سلوک ننموده‌اند.»

7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

۷ بنابراین خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «چونکه شما زیاده از امت هایی که گرداگرد شما می‌باشند غوغا نمودید و به فرایض من سلوک نکرده، احکام مرا بعمل نیاوردید، بلکه موافق احکام امت هایی که گرداگرد شما می‌باشندنیز عمل ننمودید،

8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against you, and will execute judgments in the middle of you in the sight of the nations.

۸ لهذا خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: من اینک من به ضد تو هستم و در میان تو به نظر امت‌ها داوریها خواهم نمود.

9 And I will do in you that which I have not done, and which I will not do any more the like, because of all your abominations.

۹ و با تو به‌سبب جمیع رجاساتت کارها خواهم کرد که قبل از این نکرده باشم و مثل آنها هم دیگر نخواهم کرد.

10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the middle of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you will I scatter into all the winds.

۱۰ بنابراین پدران در میان تو پسران راخواهند خورد و پسران پدران خویش را خواهندخورد و بر تو داوریها نموده، تمامی بقیت تو رابسوی هر باد پراکنده خواهم ساخت.»

11 Why, as I live, says the Lord GOD; Surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore will I also diminish you; neither shall my eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

۱۱ لهذاخداوند یهوه می‌گوید: «به حیات خودم قسم چونکه تو مقدس مرا بتمامی رجاسات و جمیع مکروهات خویش نجس ساختی، من نیز البته تورا منقطع خواهم ساخت و چشم من شفقت نخواهد نمود و من نیز رحمت نخواهم فرمود.

12 A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the middle of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

۱۲ یک ثلث تو در میانت از وبا خواهند مرد و ازگرسنگی تلف خواهند شد. و یک ثلث به اطرافت به شمشیر خواهند افتاد و ثلث دیگر را بسوی هرباد پراکنده ساخته، شمشیر را در عقب ایشان خواهم فرستاد.

13 Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest on them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

۱۳ پس چون غضب من به اتمام رسیده باشد و حدت خشم خویش را بر ایشان ریخته باشم، آنگاه پشیمان خواهم شد. و چون حدت خشم خویش را بر ایشان به اتمام رسانده باشم، آنگاه خواهند دانست که من یهوه این را درغیرت خویش گفته‌ام.

14 Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.

۱۴ و تو را در در نظر همه رهگذریان در میان امت هایی که به اطراف تومی باشند، به خرابی و رسوایی تسلیم خواهم نمود.

15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

۱۵ و چون بر تو به خشم و غضب وسرزنشهای سخت داوری کرده باشم، آنگاه این موجد عار و مذمت و عبرت و دهشت برای امت هایی که به اطراف تو می‌باشند خواهد بود. من که یهوه هستم این را گفتم.

16 When I shall send on them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine on you, and will break your staff of bread:

۱۶ و چون تیرهای بد قحطی را که برای هلاکت می‌باشد و من آنها رابه جهت خرابی شما می‌فرستم در میان شماانداخته باشم، آنگاه قحط را بر شما سخت‌ترخواهم گردانید و عصای نان شما را خواهم شکست.

17 So will I send on you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you: and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword on you. I the LORD have spoken it.

۱۷ و قحط و حیوانات درنده در میان توخواهم فرستاد تا تو را بی‌اولاد گردانند و وبا وخون از میان تو عبور خواهد کرد و شمشیری برتو وارد خواهم آورد. من که یهوه هستم این راگفتم.»
