Ezekiel 13

1 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say you to them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear you the word of the LORD;

Hijo del hombre, profetiza contra los profetas de Israel que profetizan; y di a los que profetizan de su corazón: Oíd palabra de Jehová.

3 Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

Así dijo el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de los profetas ignorantes, que andan en pos de su espíritu, y nada vieron!

4 O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

Como zorras en los desiertos fueron tus profetas, o! Israel.

5 You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

Nunca subisteis a los portillos, ni echasteis vallado sobre la casa de Israel, estando en la batalla en el día de Jehová.

6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says: and the LORD has not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

Vieron vanidad, y adivinación de mentira. Dicen: Dijo Jehová: y nunca Jehová los envió; y hacen esperar para confirmar la palabra.

7 Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, The LORD says it; albeit I have not spoken?

¿No habéis visto visión vana? ¿y no habéis dicho adivinación de mentira? ¿y decís: Dijo Jehová: no habiendo yo hablado?

8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD.

Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto vosotros habéis hablado vanidad, y habéis visto mentira: por tanto he aquí que yo a vosotros, dijo el Señor Jehová.

9 And my hand shall be on the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Y será mi mano contra los profetas que ven vanidad, y adivinan mentira: no serán en la congregación de mi pueblo, ni serán escritos en el libro de la casa de Israel, ni volverán a la tierra de Israel; y sabréis que yo soy el Señor Jehová.

10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, see, others daubed it with untempered mortar:

Por tanto, y por cuanto engañaron mi pueblo, diciendo: Paz, no habiendo paz; y el uno edificaba la pared, y he aquí que los otros la embarraban con lodo suelto.

11 Say to them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

Di a los embarradores con lodo suelto, que caerá: vendrá lluvia en avenida, y daré piedras de granizo que la hagan caer, y viento tempestuoso la romperá.

12 See, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?

Y he aquí que la pared cayó. No os dirán entonces: ¿Dónde está la embarradura con que embarrasteis?

13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Y yo haré que la rompa viento tempestuoso con mi ira, y lluvia en avenida venga con mi furor, y piedras de granizo con mi enojo para consumir.

14 So will I break down the wall that you have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the middle thereof: and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Y derribaré la pared que vosotros embarrasteis con lodo suelto, y hacerla he llegar a tierra, y será descubierto su cimiento, y caerá, y seréis consumidos en medio de ella; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on them that have daubed it with untempered mortar, and will say to you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

Y cumpliré mi furor en la pared, y en los que la embarraron con lodo suelto, y deciros he: No parece la pared, ni parecen los que la embarraron:

16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord GOD.

Los profetas de Israel que profetizan a Jerusalem, y ven para ella visión de paz, no habiendo paz, dijo el Señor Jehová.

17 Likewise, you son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,

Y tú, o! hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro a las hijas de tu pueblo, que profetizan de su corazón, y profetiza contra ellas,

18 And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs on the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and will you save the souls alive that come to you?

Y dí: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de aquellas que cosen cojinetes a todos codos de manos, y hacen veletas sobre la cabeza de toda edad, para cazar las almas! ¿Habéis de cazar las almas de mi pueblo? ¿y habéis de dar vida a las almas para vosotros?

19 And will you pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

¿Y habéisme de contaminar en mi pueblo por puños de cebada, y por pedazos de pan, matando las almas que no mueren, y dando vida a las almas que no vivirán, mintiendo a mi pueblo que oye mentira?

20 Why thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that you hunt to make them fly.

Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo a vuestros cojinetes, con que cazáis allí las almas volando: yo los arrancaré de vuestros brazos, y enviaré las almas que cazáis, las almas volando.

21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Y romperé vuestras veletas, y libraré mi pueblo de vuestra mano, y no estarán más en vuestra mano para caza; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

22 Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

Por cuanto entristecisteis el corazón del justo con mentira, al cual yo no entristecí; y esforzasteis las manos del impío, para que no se apartase de su mal camino dándole vida:

23 Therefore you shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Por tanto no veréis vanidad, ni más adivinaréis adivinación; y libraré mi pueblo de vuestra mano; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
