Deuteronomy 6
1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go to possess it:
၁``သင်တို့အားသွန်သင်ရန် သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားပေးအပ်တော်မူသော ပညတ်တော်များသည်ကား ဤသို့တည်း။ သင် တို့ဝင်ရောက်သိမ်းယူမည့်ပြည်တွင် ဤပညတ် တော်များကိုလိုက်နာစောင့်ထိန်းကြလော့။-
2 That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
၂သင်တို့နှင့်သင်တို့၏အဆက်အနွယ်တို့သည် အသက်ရှင်သမျှကာလပတ်လုံးသင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ရိုသေရကြမည်။ သင်တို့သည်ထိုပြည်တွင် ကြာရှည်စွာနေထိုင်နိုင်ရန် ငါပေးသော ပညတ်တော်ရှိသမျှတို့ကိုနားထောင်၍ စောင့်ထိန်းကြလော့။-
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey.
၃အို ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊ ထိုပညတ်တော် များကိုစောင့်ထိန်းလော့။ ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင်ဘိုး ဘေးတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကတိတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း သင်တို့သည်ကြွယ်ဝ ကောင်းစား၍အင်အားကြီးသောလူမျိုးဖြစ် လာလိမ့်မည်။ အစာရေစာပေါကြွယ်ဝသော ပြည်တွင်နေထိုင်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။''
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
၄``အို ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ ဤအချက် ကိုမမေ့နှင့်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသာလျှင် ငါတို့ ၏ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။-
5 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
၅သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုစိတ်စွမ်းရှိသမျှ၊ ကိုယ်စွမ်းရှိသမျှ၊ အစွမ်းသတ္တိရှိသမျှနှင့်ချစ်လော့။-
6 And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:
၆ယနေ့သင်တို့အားငါပေးသောပညတ်တော် များကို မည်သည့်အခါမျှမမေ့နှင့်။-
7 And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
၇ထိုပညတ်များကို သင်တို့၏သားသမီးတို့ အားသွန်သင်ရမည်။ အိမ်၌ရှိသည့်အခါ ဖြစ်စေ၊ နားနေသည့်အခါဖြစ်စေ၊ အလုပ် လုပ်သည့်အခါဖြစ်စေ ထိုပညတ်တော်များ ကိုသွန်သင်ရမည်။-
8 And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
၈ထိုပညတ်များကိုသတိရနေစေရန် သင် တို့၏လက်မောင်း၌လည်းကောင်း၊ နဖူး၌ လည်းကောင်းချည်ထားရမည်။-
9 And you shall write them on the posts of your house, and on your gates.
၉သင်တို့၏အိမ်တံခါးတိုင်နှင့်ဝင်းတံခါးတို့ တွင် ထိုပညတ်တော်များကိုရေးထားရမည်။''
10 And it shall be, when the LORD your God shall have brought you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities, which you built not,
၁၀``သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင်တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးများဖြစ်ကြသော အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ယာကုပ်တို့အားကတိ ထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း သင်တို့ကိုယ်တိုင် မတည်ဆောက်သည့်စည်ပင်သာယာသော မြို့ကြီးများကို သင်တို့အားပေးတော်မူ မည်။-
11 And houses full of all good things, which you filled not, and wells dig, which you digged not, vineyards and olive trees, which you planted not; when you shall have eaten and be full;
၁၁သင်တို့မစုဆောင်းဘဲ ကောင်းမွန်သောအရာ များနှင့်ပြည့်စုံသောအိမ်များကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ သင်တို့မတူးသောရေတွင်းများကိုလည်း ကောင်း၊ သင်တို့မစိုက်ပျိုးသောစပျစ်ခြံနှင့် သံလွင်ခြံများကိုလည်းကောင်း သင်တို့အား ပေးတော်မူမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သင် တို့ကိုပို့ဆောင်၍ ထိုပြည်သို့ရောက်သဖြင့် သင်တို့သည်အစားအစာကိုဝလင်စွာ စားရသောအခါ၊-
12 Then beware lest you forget the LORD, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
၁၂ကျွန်ခံရာအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှသင်တို့ကိုထုတ် ဆောင်တော်မူခဲ့သော ထာဝရဘုရားကို မမေ့လျော့ရန်သတိပြုကြလော့။-
13 You shall fear the LORD your God, and serve him, and shall swear by his name.
၁၃သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်ကိုသာကိုး ကွယ်လော့။ ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမတော်ကိုသာ တိုင်တည်လျက်ကတိသစ္စာပြုလော့။-
14 You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
၁၄အခြားဘုရားများကိုမဆည်းကပ်နှင့်။ သင် တို့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တွင်နေထိုင်သောလူမျိုး တို့၏ဘုရားများကိုမကိုးကွယ်နှင့်။-
15 (For the LORD your God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD your God be kindled against you, and destroy you from off the face of the earth.
၁၅သင်တို့နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူသောဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ပြိုင်ဘက်ကိုလုံးဝလက်ခံ တော်မမူ။ ထို့ကြောင့်သင်တို့သည်အခြားသော ဘုရားကိုဝတ်ပြုလျှင် အမျက်တော်သည်မီး ကဲ့သို့တောက်လောင်၍ သင်တို့အပေါင်းကိုသေ ကြေပျက်စီးစေလိမ့်မည်။''
16 You shall not tempt the LORD your God, as you tempted him in Massah.
၁၆``သင်တို့သည်မဿာအရပ်မှာကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့ ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားကိုအစစ် အကြောမပြုရ။-
17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
၁၇ထာဝရဘုရားပြဋ္ဌာန်းတော်မူသော ပညတ် အားလုံးကိုလိုက်နာရန်သတိပြုလော့။-
18 And you shall do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to your fathers.
၁၈သင်တို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ရှေ့တော်တွင် သင့်မြတ်မှန်ကန်သောအမှုတို့ကိုပြုလျှင် အရာရာ၌အောင်မြင်လိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ထာဝရဘုရားကတိ ထားတော်မူသောသာယာဝပြောသည့် ပြည်ကိုသိမ်းနိုင်လိမ့်မည်။-
19 To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.
၁၉ကတိတော်အတိုင်းသင်တို့၏ရန်သူတို့ကို လည်းနှင်ထုတ်နိုင်လိမ့်မည်။''
20 And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God has commanded you?
၂၀``နောင်အခါ၌သင်တို့၏သားသမီးတို့သည် သင်တို့အား`ငါတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားက ဤပညတ်ရှိသမျှကိုအဘယ် ကြောင့်ပြဋ္ဌာန်းတော်မူရသနည်း' ဟူ၍ မေး ကြလျှင်၊-
21 Then you shall say to your son, We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
၂၁`ငါတို့သည်အီဂျစ်ပြည်ဘုရင်ထံတွင်ကျွန် ခံခဲ့ရစဉ်က ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မဟာ တန်ခိုးတော်ဖြင့်ငါတို့အားကယ်ဆယ်ခဲ့ ၏။-
22 And the LORD showed signs and wonders, great and sore, on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his household, before our eyes:
၂၂ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အီဂျစ်အမျိုးသားတို့ အားလည်းကောင်း၊ သူတို့၏ဘုရင်နှင့်မှူးမတ် အရာရှိအပေါင်းတို့အားလည်းကောင်း နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာများကိုပြ၍ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်သော ဘေးဥပဒ်များကျရောက်စေတော်မူခဲ့ပုံကို ငါတို့ကိုယ်တိုင်တွေ့မြင်ခဲ့ရကြသည်။-
23 And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers.
၂၃ငါတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးတို့အားကတိထားတော်မူ သည့်အတိုင်း ငါတို့ကိုအီဂျစ်အမျိုးသားတို့ ၏လက်မှလွတ်မြောက်စေပြီးလျှင် ဤပြည် တွင်နေထိုင်ရန်ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူ၏။-
24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
၂၄ထိုနောက်ငါတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ပညတ်အလုံးစုံတို့ကိုလိုက် နာကျင့်သုံးရန်လည်းကောင်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အား ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေရန်လည်းကောင်းပြဋ္ဌာန်း တော်မူ၏။-
25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.
၂၅ငါတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်မှာတော်မူ သည့်အတိုင်းနာခံလျှင် ကိုယ်တော်သည်ငါ တို့၏နိုင်ငံကိုအစဉ်စောင့်ရှောက်၍သာယာ ဝပြောစေတော်မူမည်။ ငါတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်ပညတ်တော်မူသမျှကိုတစ်သဝေ မတိမ်းလိုက်နာလျှင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့အားနှစ်သက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်' ဟူ၍ ဖြေကြားလော့။''
