< Acts 11 >
1 And the apostles and brothers that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
Petrus feꞌe nda baliꞌ sa, te Yesus dedenu Nara ro atahori mamahereꞌ laen ra mia Yerusalem rena rae atahori nda Yahudi ra sa simbo Lamatualain Dudꞌui Malole Na.
2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
Petrus losa Yerusalem ma, atahori mamahereꞌ hira mia partei Yahudi fee salaꞌ neu e,
3 Saying, You went in to men uncircumcised, and did eat with them.
rae, “Hee! Ho tao taꞌo bee naa? Bꞌubꞌuluꞌ hita adat na, do hokoꞌ? Mumburani misiꞌ atahori nda Yahudi ra ume na sa! Ma mua-minu mo se! Afiꞌ taꞌo naa, te ara nda feꞌe tungga hita adat sunat na sa! De ara nda randaa raꞌabꞌue ro hita sa!”
4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order to them, saying,
Basa de Petrus dui basa manadadꞌiꞌ ra nae,
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
“Faiꞌ sa au mia kota Yope ma, au hule-oꞌe, de Lamatualain natudꞌu au onaꞌ meit sa. Onaꞌ lalai a sii, ma teme loa-naruꞌ sa sou. Temeꞌ a doko-doko sia buku ka haaꞌ ra. Boe ma temeꞌ a loe nisiꞌ au.
6 On the which when I had fastened my eyes, I considered, and saw four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
Au ukuloloik temeꞌ rala neu ma, ita banda mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Ita banda ei haaꞌ, banda mana nodꞌoꞌ, ma mbuiꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Basa se, hita atahori Yahudi ra banda naluli nara.
7 And I heard a voice saying to me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
Basa ma, au rena haraꞌ esa denu nae, ‘Petrus! Fela leo! Hala banda ia ra, fo mua!’
8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth.
Basa banda naa ra, hai atahori Yahudi ra miluli!’
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God has cleansed, that call not you common.
Te haraꞌ naa naselu baliꞌ nae, ‘Mete ma Lamatualain nafadꞌe nae saa meumareꞌ ena, afiꞌ mae manggenggeoꞌ fai!’
10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
Au ita temeꞌ a sou lao telu boe ma, nenebotiꞌ baliꞌ lalai a neu.
11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come to the house where I was, sent from Caesarea to me.
Leleꞌ naa, atahori telu losa ume naa boe. Ara mia Kaisarea, rema sangga au.
12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brothers accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:
Boe ma Lamatualain Dula-dale Meumare Na nafadꞌe au nae, ‘Onda fo tungga atahori ia ra leo. Afiꞌ mumutau.
13 And he showed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said to him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Ana dui nae fai hira mana laoꞌ naa, nita Lamatualain ate Na mia sorga nambariiꞌ sia eni ume na, de nae, ‘Denu atahori reu sia Yope, fo roꞌe atahori sa, naran Simon Petrus.
14 Who shall tell you words, whereby you and all your house shall be saved.
Dei fo atahori naa natudꞌu neu nggo, mo basa ume isi mara, Lamatualain dalan fo fee ambon neu sala mara ma fee masodꞌa neu nggi.’
15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Naa de, leleꞌ au utudꞌu Lamatualain Dala Masodꞌa Na neu se, aiboiꞌ ma ara simbo Dula-dale Meumareꞌ a, onaꞌ hita simboꞌ a boe.
16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Au ita onaꞌ naa, ma usunedꞌa Lamatuaꞌ Yesus oꞌolan nae, ‘Yohanis sarani hei noꞌ a oe, te Lamatualain nau tao lenaꞌ naa fee nggi, huu naa Ana fee Dula-dale Meumare Na neu nggi.’
17 For as much then as God gave them the like gift as he did to us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
Dadꞌi Lamatualain mana fee Dula-dale Na neu se onaꞌ Ana fee hita boe. De hei nau au labꞌan Lamatualain, do taꞌo bee? Au ae olaꞌ saa fai?”
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance to life.
Ara rena Petrus nasalaꞌe ao na taꞌo naa, ma ara nda fee salaꞌ neu e sa ena. Basa se koa-kio Lamatualain oi, “We! Manaseliꞌ ma! Lamatualain o soi dalaꞌ fo atahori feaꞌ ra lao hela dala sala nara, fo Ana fee ambon neu sala nara boe. No taꞌo naa, ara o rasodꞌa rakandoo ro E boe.”
19 Now they which were scattered abroad on the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but to the Jews only.
Leleꞌ atahori ra tao risa Stefanus ena, ara o tao doidꞌoso ma raꞌasususaꞌ Yesus atahori nara boe. Naa de, Yesus atahori nara sea-saranggaa. Ruma rela risiꞌ nusa Finisia. Te ara rafadꞌeꞌ a atahori Yahudi nara. Nda rafadꞌe atahori feaꞌ ra sa.
20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spoke to the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.
Te hambu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara mia pulu Siprus ma kota Kirene. Ruma rela rakandoo kota Antiokia sa nusa Siria. Sira ia rafadꞌe Lamatuaꞌ Yesus Dudꞌui Malole Na neu atahori nda Yahudi ra sa.
21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned to the Lord.
Lamatualain fee koasa Na neu se, de atahori mana ramahere neu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus boe ramaheta.
22 Then tidings of these things came to the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
Barnabas ia, rala maloleꞌ, ma namahere tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ neu Lamatualain. Lamatualain Dula-dale Na o nalalao e boe. Losa naa ma, ana nita nae, memaꞌ tebꞌe. Lamatualain ue-tao sia atahori feaꞌ ra taladꞌa nara ena. De rala na namahoꞌo. Ana huhuar se, fo ara tungga rakandoo Lamatuaꞌ Dala Masodꞌa Na tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ. No taꞌo naa, Lamatuaꞌ atahori Nara boe ramaheta.
23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would hold to the Lord.
24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added to the Lord.
25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
Basa ma, Barnabas lao Tarsus neu sangga Saulus.
26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Nandaa no Saulus ma, ana kokoe e, fo baliꞌ Antiokia reu. Ruꞌa se leo sia Antiokia raꞌabꞌue ro Lamatuaꞌ atahori Nara, losa too esa. Tungga fai, ara ranori Lamatuaꞌ Dala Masodꞌa Na neu atahori naeꞌ.
27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch.
Sira ia, Lamatualain mana ola-ola Na.
28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Mana ola-olaꞌ esa, naran Agabus. Lamatualain Dula-dale Na nafadꞌe e nae, “Dei fo ndoe-laꞌas manaseliꞌ dadꞌi ndule raefafoꞌ, losa nggoro-nggoroꞌ ra.” De ana neu nafadꞌe seluꞌ atahori ra. (Oꞌola na, dadꞌi leleꞌ Mane Monaeꞌ Kaesar Roma naran Klaudius, toꞌu parenda.)
29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brothers which dwelled in Judaea:
Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara mana sia Antiokia ra rena Agabus oꞌola na ma, ara rala haraꞌ fo radꞌuru doiꞌ fee toronoo mamahereꞌ manasusaꞌ ra sia propinsi Yudea. Esa-esa fee tungga hahambu na.
30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
Ara raꞌadꞌuru basa doiꞌ ra ma, ara dudꞌu Barnabas no Saulus, fo rendi doiꞌ ra fee neu lasi saraniꞌ ra sia naa, fo ara bibꞌibꞌi neu atahori manasusaꞌ ra.
