2 Corinthians 4
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
| بنابراین چون این خدمت را داریم، چنانکه رحمت یافته‌ایم، خسته خاطر نمی شویم. | ۱ |
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
| بلکه خفایای رسوایی را ترک کرده، به مکر رفتارنمی کنیم و کلام خدا را مغشوش نمی سازیم، بلکه به اظهار راستی، خود را به ضمیر هرکس درحضور خدا مقبول می‌سازیم. | ۲ |
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
| لیکن اگر بشارت ما مخفی است، بر هالکان مخفی است، | ۳ |
4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them. (aiōn g165)
| که درایشان خدای این جهان فهم های بی‌ایمانشان راکور گردانیده است که مبادا تجلی بشارت جلال مسیح که صورت خداست، ایشان را روشن سازد. (aiōn g165) | ۴ |
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
| زیرا به خویشتن موعظه نمی کنیم بلکه به مسیح عیسی خداوند، اما به خویشتن که غلام شما هستیم بخاطر عیسی. | ۵ |
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
| زیرا خدایی که گفت تانور از ظلمت درخشید، همان است که در دلهای ما درخشید تا نور معرفت جلال خدا در چهره عیسی مسیح از ما بدرخشد. | ۶ |
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
| لیکن این خزینه را در ظروف خاکی داریم تابرتری قوت از آن خدا باشد نه از جانب ما. | ۷ |
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
| درهرچیز زحمت کشیده، ولی در شکنجه نیستیم؛ متحیر ولی مایوس نی؛ | ۸ |
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
| تعاقب کرده شده، لیکن نه متروک؛ افکنده شده، ولی هلاک شده نی؛ | ۹ |
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
| پیوسته قتل عیسی خداوند را در جسد خودحمل می‌کنیم تا حیات عیسی هم در بدن ما ظاهرشود. | ۱۰ |
11 For we which live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
| زیرا ما که زنده‌ایم، دائم بخاطر عیسی به موت سپرده می‌شویم تا حیات عیسی نیز درجسد فانی ما پدید آید. | ۱۱ |
12 So then death works in us, but life in you.
| پس موت در ما کارمی کند ولی حیات در شما. | ۱۲ |
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
| اما چون همان روح ایمان را داریم، بحسب آنچه مکتوب است «ایمان آوردم پس سخن گفتم»، ما نیز چون ایمان داریم، از اینرو سخن می‌گوییم. | ۱۳ |
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
| چون می‌دانیم او که عیسی خداوندرا برخیزانید، ما را نیز با عیسی خواهد برخیزانیدو با شما حاضر خواهد ساخت. | ۱۴ |
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
| زیرا که همه‌چیز برای شما است تا آن فیضی که بوسیله بسیاری افزوده شده است، شکرگزاری را برای تمجید خدا بیفزاید. | ۱۵ |
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
| از این جهت خسته خاطرنمی شویم، بلکه هرچند انسانیت ظاهری ما فانی می‌شود، لیکن باطن روز بروز تازه می‌گردد. | ۱۶ |
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios g166)
| زیرا که این زحمت سبک ما که برای لحظه‌ای است، بار جاودانی جلال را برای ما زیاده و زیاده پیدا می‌کند. (aiōnios g166) | ۱۷ |
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
| در حالی که ما نظر نمی کنیم به چیزهای دیدنی، بلکه به چیزهای نادیدنی، زیرا که آنچه دیدنی است، زمانی است و نادیدنی جاودانی. (aiōnios g166) | ۱۸ |
