< 2 Corinthians 4 >
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
Mawu ŋutɔ ƒe nublanuikpɔkpɔ mee wòtso be wòtsɔ subɔsubɔdɔ sia de asi na mí be ɖeɖi metea mía ŋu le ewɔwɔ me o.
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
Míegbe nu le alakpadada gbɔ helé nyateƒe la ko me ɖe asi be amewo nanya le woƒe dzi me be míenye ame dzɔdzɔewo le Mawu ƒe ŋkume.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
Eya ta ne Kristo ƒe nyanyui si míele gbeƒã ɖem la gɔme sese sesẽ na ame aɖewo la, ekema ame siawo ɖo ta tsɔtsrɔ̃ me.
4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Mawu ame si gblɔ be, “Kekeli neklẽ ɖe viviti me la,” kee nye ame si klẽ ɖe míawo hã ƒe dzi me. To esia wɔwɔ me la, ena be míexɔ kekeli la ƒe sidzedze, si nye eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe si klẽna tso Kristo me.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Ke kesinɔnu sia le mía si le anyigoewo me, be wòaɖee fia be ŋusẽ triakɔ sia metso mía gbɔ o, ke boŋ Mawu gbɔ wòtso.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Womimi mí ɖo le go sia go me gake womegbã mí o, míetɔtɔ gake dzi meɖe le míaƒo o,
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
woti mía yome, gake Mawu megble mí ɖi o, woƒo mí ƒu anyi, gake wometsrɔ̃ mí o.
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Yesu ƒe ku le míaƒe ŋutilã me míele yiyimee gbe sia gbe, be woaɖe Yesu ƒe agbe hã ɖe go le míaƒe ŋutilã me.
11 For we which live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
Elabena wotsɔ mí ame siwo le agbe la de asi na ku gbe sia gbe le Yesu ta, be woaɖe eƒe agbe ɖe go le míaƒe ŋutilã si le kuku ge la me.
12 So then death works in us, but life in you.
Eya ta ku le dɔ wɔm le mía me, gake agbe le dɔ wɔm le miawo me.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Abe ale si woŋlɔ ɖe mawunya me ene be, “Mexɔe se, eya ta meƒo nu ɖo” la, nenema ke míawo hã míexɔe se, eya ta míadzudzɔ nuƒoƒo o.
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
Míenya be Mawu, ame si fɔ Aƒetɔ Yesu ɖe tsitre tso ame kukuwo dome la afɔ míawo hã kple Kristo ɖe tsitre, eye wòatsɔ mí kple miawo siaa nɛ.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Esia ta ɖeɖi metea mía ŋu o, eye míana ta o. Togbɔ be míaƒe ŋutilãwo le gbɔdzɔgbɔdzɔm hã la, ŋusẽ si tso Aƒetɔ la gbɔ, eye wòle mía me la le tsitsim ɖe edzi gbe sia gbe.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios )
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
