1 Thessalonians 5
1 But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you.
Walongu wayetu, kwahera toziya ya kuwalembelera mashaka na shipindi shakulawira shitwatira ashi.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
Toziya maweni mwenga muvimana weri kuwera lishaka lya Mtuwa halizi gambira shimpegu ntambu yakiza pashiru.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes on them, as travail on a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Wantu pawalonga, Kwana ponga na ulolera, uharibisiya haurawili vumu, gambira uvumu wa utama wa mdala yakawera na yinda yakawera kala kulera mwana, su wantu hapeni wayitiri.
4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Kumbiti mwenga walongu mwamuluwindu ndiri, na lishaka ali lifiruwa ndiri kuwayizirani vumu gambira shimpegu ntambu yakiza.
5 You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Mwawoseri mwenga mwawananguta wa gulangala na wananguta wa paliwala, twenga twawantu ndiri wa pashiru ama wa luwindu.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Su natugonja mpota gambira wamonga ntambu yawatenda, kumbiti hatafiruwi tulikali masu na kulilewelera.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
Yawagonja mpota, wagonja pashiru na yawalowera, walowera pashiru.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Kumbiti twenga twawantu wa paliwala na tufiruwa kulikolamlima, tufiruwa kuvala njimiru na mafiliru gambira nguwu ya chuma ya kushinga pashifuwa, na litumbiru lyetu lya ulopoziwu gambira kofiya ya shuma ya kushinga mtuwi.
9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Toziya Mlungu katusyaguliti ndiri twenga twagamiziwi na maya gakuwi, kumbiti kuwanka ulopoziya kupitira Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
yakahowiti toziya ya twenga, ata patuwera wakomu ama tuhowa su twenga hatulikali pamuhera na yomberi pakizi kayi.
11 Why comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.
Su mulitendi kuwera na moyu na mulitangi maweni ntambu yamtenda vinu.
12 And we beseech you, brothers, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
Walongu wayetu, tuwaluwani muwayupi ligoya walii yawatenda lihengu pakati penu, walii yawawalongoziya mwenga Mumtuwa na kuwafundiza mwenga,
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
muwapanani ligoya likulu na kuwafira toziya ya lihengu lyawu. Muweri na ponga pakati penu.
14 Now we exhort you, brothers, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
Walongu wayetu, tuwagambirani muwaberiziyi wantu yawawera wapweri, muwatendi waweri na moyu wantu yawawera wagoyigoyi, na muwatangi wantu yawawera legilegi, muweri wantu wa kuhepelera.
15 See that none render evil for evil to any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
Mloli muntu yoseri nakamwuzilira muyaguwi vidoda kwa vidoda, kumbiti mashaka goseri muliholi kuwatendera gaherepa wantu woseri.
16 Rejoice ever more.
Mnemeleri shipindi shoseri.
17 Pray without ceasing.
Mumluwi Mlungu pota kutoka,
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
na mlongi mayagashii Mlungu muntambu zoseri, aga ndo mafiliru ga Mlungu kwa mwenga kulikolerana pamuhera na Kristu Yesu.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
Namumlema Rohu Mnanagala,
20 Despise not prophesyings.
namuuzarawu ujumbi kulawa kwa Mlungu
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
kumbiti mpimi kila shintu, namleka shashiweriti shiheri,
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
na mulikali patali na kila ntambu zya ukondola.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mlungu mweni gwa ponga, kawapunga nakamu mwenga muntambu zoseri na kaziloleri hweri rohu zyenu na myoyu na nshimba zyenu kutali na likosa lyoseri pakizaku kayi Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu.
24 Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.
Yomberi yakawashema mwenga ndo mwaminika, hakatendi hangu.
25 Brothers, pray for us.
Walongu wayetu, twenga viraa mtuluwili kwa Mlungu.
26 Greet all the brothers with an holy kiss.
Muwalamsiyi walongu woseri kwa lilanguliru lya mafiliru.
27 I charge you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.
Nuwalagalira mwenga kwa litawu lya Mtuwa muwasomeri luhamba alu walongu woseri.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Manemu ga Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu gaweri pamuhera na mwenga.
