1 Corinthians 5

1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.

apara. m yu. smaaka. m madhye vyabhicaaro vidyate sa ca vyabhicaarastaad. r"so yad devapuujakaanaa. m madhye. api tattulyo na vidyate phalato yu. smaakameko jano vimaat. rgamana. m k. rruta iti vaarttaa sarvvatra vyaaptaa|

2 And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you.

tathaaca yuuya. m darpadhmaataa aadhbe, tat karmma yena k. rta. m sa yathaa yu. smanmadhyaad duuriikriyate tathaa "soko yu. smaabhi rna kriyate kim etat?

3 For I truly, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that has so done this deed,

avidyamaane madiiya"sariire mamaatmaa yu. smanmadhye vidyate ato. aha. m vidyamaana iva tatkarmmakaari. no vicaara. m ni"scitavaan,

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

asmatprabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya naamnaa yu. smaaka. m madiiyaatmana"sca milane jaate. asmatprabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya "sakte. h saahaayyena

5 To deliver such an one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

sa nara. h "sariiranaa"saarthamasmaabhi. h "sayataano haste samarpayitavyastato. asmaaka. m prabho ryii"so rdivase tasyaatmaa rak. saa. m gantu. m "sak. syati|

6 Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

yu. smaaka. m darpo na bhadraaya yuuya. m kimetanna jaaniitha, yathaa, vikaara. h k. rtsna"saktuunaa. m svalpaki. nvena jaayate|

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

yuuya. m yat naviina"saktusvaruupaa bhaveta tadartha. m puraatana. m ki. nvam avamaarjjata yato yu. smaabhi. h ki. nva"suunyai rbhavitavya. m| aparam asmaaka. m nistaarotsaviiyame. sa"saavako ya. h khrii. s.ta. h so. asmadartha. m baliik. rto. abhavat|

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote to you in an letter not to company with fornicators:

vyaabhicaari. naa. m sa. msargo yu. smaabhi rvihaatavya iti mayaa patre likhita. m|

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortionists, or with idolaters; for then must you needs go out of the world.

kintvaihikalokaanaa. m madhye ye vyabhicaari. no lobhina upadraavi. no devapuujakaa vaa te. saa. m sa. msarga. h sarvvathaa vihaatavya iti nahi, vihaatavye sati yu. smaabhi rjagato nirgantavyameva|

11 But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortionist; with such an one no not to eat.

kintu bhraat. rtvena vikhyaata. h ka"scijjano yadi vyabhicaarii lobhii devapuujako nindako madyapa upadraavii vaa bhavet tarhi taad. r"sena maanavena saha bhojanapaane. api yu. smaabhi rna karttavye ityadhunaa mayaa likhita. m|

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not you judge them that are within?

samaajabahi. hsthitaanaa. m lokaanaa. m vicaarakara. ne mama ko. adhikaara. h? kintu tadantargataanaa. m vicaara. na. m yu. smaabhi. h ki. m na karttavya. m bhavet?

13 But them that are without God judges. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
