Zechariah 9

1 The burden of the word of the LORD. In the land of Hadrach, and in Damascus shall be His resting-place; for the LORD'S is the eye of man and all the tribes of Israel.

۱ وحی کلام خداوند بر زمین حدراخ (نازل می شود) و دمشق محل آن می‌باشد، زیراکه نظر انسان و نظر تمامی اسباط اسرائیل بسوی خداوند است.

2 And Hamath also shall border thereon; Tyre and Zidon, for she is very wise.

۲ و بر حمات نیز که مجاور آن است و بر صور و صیدون اگر‌چه بسیار دانشمندمی باشد.

3 And Tyre did build herself a stronghold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.

۳ و صور برای خود ملاذی منیع ساخت و نقره را مثل غبار و طلا را مانند گل کوچه هاانباشت.

4 Behold, the Lord will impoverish her, and He will smite her power into the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.

۴ اینک خداوند او را اخراج خواهد کردو قوتش را که در دریا می‌باشد، تلف خواهدساخت و خودش به آتش سوخته خواهد شد.

5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear, Gaza also, and shall be sore pained, and Ekron, for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

۵ اشقلون چون این را بیند خواهد ترسید و غزه بسیار دردناک خواهد شد و عقرون نیز زیرا که اعتماد او خجل خواهد گردید و پادشاه از غزه هلاک خواهد شد و اشقلون مسکون نخواهدگشت.

6 And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

۶ و حرام زاده‌ای در اشدود جلوس خواهدنمود و حشمت فلسطینیان را منقطع خواهم ساخت.

7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his detestable things from between his teeth, and he also shall be a remnant for our God; and he shall be as a chief in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.

۷ و خون او را از دهانش بیرون خواهم آورد و رجاساتش را از میان دندانهایش؛ و بقیه اونیز به جهت خدای ما خواهد بود و خودش مثل امیری در یهودا و عقرون مانند یبوسی خواهدشد.

8 And I will encamp about My house against the army, that none pass through or return; and no oppressor shall pass through them any more; for now have I seen with Mine eyes.

۸ و من گرداگرد خانه خود به ضد لشکر اردوخواهم زد تا کسی از آن عبور و مرور نکند و ظالم بار دیگر از میان آنها گذر نخواهد کرد زیرا که حال به چشمان خود مشاهده نموده‌ام.

9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion, shout, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy king cometh unto thee, he is triumphant, and victorious, lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

۹ ‌ای دختر صهیون بسیار وجد بنما و ای دختر اورشلیم آواز شادمانی بده! اینک پادشاه تونزد تو می‌آید. او عادل و صاحب نجات و حلیم می‌باشد و بر الاغ و بر کره بچه الاغ سوار است.

10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off, and he shall speak peace unto the nations; and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

۱۰ و من ارابه را از افرایم و اسب را از اورشلیم منقطع خواهم ساخت و کمان جنگی شکسته خواهد شد و او با امت‌ها به سلامتی تکلم خواهدنمود و سلطنت او از دریا تا دریا و از نهر تا اقصای زمین خواهد بود.

11 As for thee also, because of the blood of thy covenant I send forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

۱۱ و اما من اسیران تو را نیز به واسطه خون عهد تو از چاهی که در آن آب نیست رها کردم.

12 Return to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope; even to-day do I declare that I will render double unto thee.

۱۲ ‌ای اسیران امید، به ملاذ منیع مراجعت نمایید. امروز نیز خبر می‌دهم که به شما(نصیب ) مضاعف رد خواهم نمود.

13 For I bend Judah for Me, I fill the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Javan, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.

۱۳ زیرا که یهودا را برای خود زه خواهم کرد و افرایم راتیرکمان خواهم ساخت و پسران تو را‌ای صهیون به ضد پسران تو‌ای یاوان خواهم برانگیخت و تورا مثل شمشیر جبار خواهم گردانید.

14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning; and the Lord GOD will blow the horn, and will go with whirlwinds of the south.

۱۴ و خداوند بالای ایشان ظاهر خواهد شد وتیر او مانند برق خواهد جست و خداوند یهوه کرنا را نواخته، بر گردبادهای جنوبی خواهدتاخت.

15 The LORD of hosts will defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling-stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like the basins, like the corners of the altar.

۱۵ یهوه صبایوت ایشان را حمایت خواهد کرد و ایشان غذا خورده، سنگهای فلاخن را پایمال خواهند کردو نوشیده، مثل از شراب نعره خواهند زد و مثل جامها و مانند گوشه های مذبح پر خواهند شد.

16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they shall be as the stones of a crown, glittering over His land.

۱۶ و یهوه خدای ایشان ایشان را در آن روز مثل گوسفندان قوم خودخواهد رهانید زیرا که مانند جواهر تاج بر زمین اوخواهند درخشید.

17 For how great is their goodness, and how great is their beauty! Corn shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maids.

۱۷ زیرا که حسن و زیبایی اوچه قدر عظیم است. گندم جوانان را و عصیر انگور دوشیزگان را خرم خواهد ساخت.
