Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The saying of the LORD, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirit of man within him:
La palabra del Señor sobre Israel. El Señor por quien se extienden los cielos y se colocan las bases de la tierra, y el espíritu del hombre formado dentro de él, ha dicho:
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of staggering unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it fall to be in the siege against Jerusalem.
Mira, haré que Jerusalén sea una copa de temor a todos los pueblos de alrededor, cuando Jerusalén esté cercada, también las otras ciudades de Judá serán atacadas.
3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a stone of burden for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.
Y sucederá en aquel día que haré de Jerusalén una piedra de gran peso para todos los pueblos; todos los que la levanten serán gravemente heridos; y todas las naciones de la tierra se unirán contra ella.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with bewilderment, and his rider with madness; and I will open Mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.
En aquel día, dice el Señor, pondré temor en cada caballo y haré que cada jinete se vuelva loco; y mis ojos estarán abiertos sobre el pueblo de Judá, y haré que cada caballo del pueblo quede ciego.
5 And the chiefs of Judah shall say in their heart: 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength through the LORD of hosts their God.'
Y las familias de Judá dirán en sus corazones: El pueblo de Jerusalén tiene su fuerza en el Señor de los ejércitos, su Dios.
6 In that day will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
En aquel día haré a las familias de Judá como una olla con fuego entre la leña, y como un fuego en los manojos de espiga; enviarán destrucción a todos los pueblos de alrededor, a la derecha y a la izquierda; y Jerusalén volverá a vivir en el lugar que es suyo, es decir, en Jerusalén.
7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.
Y el Señor dará salvación primero a las tiendas de campaña de Judá, para que la gloria de la familia de David y la gloria del pueblo de Jerusalén no sea mayor que la de Judá.
8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that stumbleth among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as a godlike being, as the angel of the LORD before them.
En aquel día el Señor será una cubierta sobre el pueblo de Jerusalén; y el que sea débil entre ellos en ese día será tan fuerte como David, y la familia de David será como Dios, como el ángel del Señor delante de ellos.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Y sucederá ese día que tomaré en cuenta la destrucción de todas las naciones que vienen contra Jerusalén.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.
Y enviaré sobre la familia de David y sobre el pueblo de Jerusalén el espíritu de gracia y de súplica; y sus ojos se volverán Mí, al que han traspasado; y estarán llorando por él como por un hijo único, y su dolor por él será amargo, como el dolor de alguien que lamenta por su hijo mayor.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
En ese día habrá un gran llanto en Jerusalén, como el llanto de Hadadrimón en el valle de Meguido.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
Y la tierra se entregará al llanto, cada familia por separado; la familia de David solos, y sus esposas solos; la familia de Natán solos y sus esposas solos;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;
La familia de Leví por sí mismos, y sus esposas por sí mismos; la familia de Semei sola y sus esposas solas;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
Y todas las otras familias solas, y sus esposas solas.
