Psalms 99

1 The LORD reigneth; let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake.

۱ خداوند سلطنت گرفته است، پس قوم‌ها بلرزند! بر کروبیین جلوس می‌فرماید، زمین متزلزل گردد!

2 The LORD is great in Zion; and He is high above all the peoples.

۲ خداوند در صیهون عظیم است و او بر جمیع قوم هامتعال است!

3 Let them praise Thy name as great and awful; Holy is He.

۳ اسم عظیم و مهیب تو را حمدبگویند، که او قدوس است.

4 The strength also of the king who loveth justice — Thou hast established equity, Thou hast executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

۴ و قوت پادشاه، انصاف را دوست می‌دارد. تو راستی را پایدارکرده، و انصاف و عدالت را در یعقوب به عمل آورده‌ای.

5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and prostrate yourselves at His footstool; Holy is He.

۵ یهوه خدای ما را تکریم نمایید ونزد قدمگاه او عبادت کنید، که او قدوس است.

6 Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among them that call upon His name, did call upon the LORD, and He answered them.

۶ موسی و هارون از کاهنانش و سموئیل ازخوانندگان نام او. یهوه را خواندند و او ایشان را اجابت فرمود.

7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies, and the statute that He gave them.

۷ در ستون ابر بدیشان سخن گفت. شهادات او و فریضه‌ای را که بدیشان داد نگاه داشتند.

8 O LORD our God, Thou didst answer them; a forgiving God wast Thou unto them, though Thou tookest vengeance of their misdeeds.

۸ ‌ای یهوه خدای ما توایشان را اجابت فرمودی. ایشان را خدای غفوربودی. اما از اعمال ایشان انتقام کشیدی.

9 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

۹ یهوه خدای ما را متعال بخوانید و نزد کوه مقدس او عبادت کنید. زیرا یهوه خدای ما قدوس است.
