Psalms 99

1 The LORD reigneth; let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake.

Jehova nĩarathamaka, ndũrĩrĩ nĩcikĩinaine; aikarĩire gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene arĩ gatagatĩ ka makerubi, thĩ nĩĩthingithe.

2 The LORD is great in Zion; and He is high above all the peoples.

Jehova nĩ mũnene Zayuni; nĩatũũgĩrĩte igũrũ rĩa ndũrĩrĩ ciothe.

3 Let them praise Thy name as great and awful; Holy is He.

Andũ nĩmakĩgooce rĩĩtwa rĩaku inene na rĩa gwĩtigĩrwo: we nĩwe mũtheru.

4 The strength also of the king who loveth justice — Thou hast established equity, Thou hast executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

Mũthamaki nĩ arĩ hinya, na nĩendete kĩhooto: nĩũrũmĩtie ũtuithania wa ciira ũrĩa mwerekereru; nĩwĩkĩte maũndũ ma kĩhooto na ma ũthingu thĩinĩ wa Jakubu.

5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and prostrate yourselves at His footstool; Holy is He.

Tũũgĩriai Jehova Ngai witũ, na mũmũinamĩrĩre, mũmũhooe mũrĩ gĩturwa-inĩ kĩa makinya make; we nĩwe mũtheru.

6 Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among them that call upon His name, did call upon the LORD, and He answered them.

Musa na Harũni maarĩ amwe a athĩnjĩri-Ngai ake, nake Samũeli aarĩ ũmwe wa arĩa maakayagĩra rĩĩtwa rĩake; maakayagĩra Jehova nake akametĩka.

7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies, and the statute that He gave them.

Aamaragĩria arĩ thĩinĩ wa gĩtugĩ kĩa itu; makĩrũmia mawatho make na kĩrĩra kĩa watho wake wa kũrũmĩrĩrwo kĩrĩa aamaheete.

8 O LORD our God, Thou didst answer them; a forgiving God wast Thou unto them, though Thou tookest vengeance of their misdeeds.

Wee Jehova Ngai witũ-rĩ, nĩwametĩkaga; harĩ Isiraeli warĩ Mũrungu mũrekanĩri, o na gũtuĩka nĩwamaherithagia nĩ ũndũ wa ciĩko ciao njũru.

9 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

Tũũgĩriai Jehova Ngai witũ, na mũmũhooyage mũrĩ kĩrĩma-inĩ gĩake kĩamũre, nĩgũkorwo Jehova Ngai witũ nĩ mũtheru.
