Psalms 98

1 A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvellous things; His right hand, and His holy arm, hath wrought salvation for Him.

Un psaume. Chantez à Yahvé un chant nouveau, car il a fait des choses merveilleuses! Sa main droite et son bras saint ont opéré le salut pour lui.

2 The LORD hath made known His salvation; His righteousness hath He revealed in the sight of the nations.

Yahvé a fait connaître son salut. Il a montré ouvertement sa justice aux yeux des nations.

3 He hath remembered His mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Il s'est souvenu de sa bonté et de sa fidélité envers la maison d'Israël. Toutes les extrémités de la terre ont vu le salut de notre Dieu.

4 Shout unto the LORD, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

Poussez des cris de joie vers Yahvé, toute la terre! Éclatez et chantez de joie, oui, chantez des louanges!

5 Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the voice of melody.

Chantez des louanges à Yahvé avec la harpe, avec la harpe et la voix de la mélodie.

6 With trumpets and sound of the horn shout ye before the King, the LORD.

Avec les trompettes et le son de la corne de bélier, faites un bruit joyeux devant le roi, Yahvé.

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

Que la mer rugisse de toute sa richesse! le monde, et ceux qui l'habitent.

8 Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together;

Que les fleuves battent des mains! Que les montagnes chantent de joie ensemble.

9 Before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

Qu'ils chantent devant Yahvé, car il vient pour juger la terre. Il jugera le monde avec justice, et les peuples avec équité.
