Psalms 90
1 BOOK IV A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations.
൧ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെയുടെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥന. കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ സങ്കേതമായിരിക്കുന്നു;
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.
൨പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായതിനും അങ്ങ് ഭൂമിയെയും ഭൂമണ്ഡലത്തെയും നിർമ്മിച്ചതിനും മുൻപ് അങ്ങ് അനാദിയായും ശാശ്വതമായും ദൈവം ആകുന്നു.
3 Thou turnest man to contrition; and sayest: 'Return, ye children of men.'
൩അങ്ങ് മർത്യനെ പൊടിയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിച്ചേരുമാറാക്കുന്നു; “മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരേ, തിരികെ വരുവിൻ” എന്നും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
൪ആയിരം സംവത്സരം അവിടുത്തെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇന്നലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ദിവസംപോലെയും രാത്രിയിലെ ഒരു യാമംപോലെയും മാത്രം ആകുന്നു.
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
൫അവിടുന്ന് മനുഷ്യരെ ഒഴുക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; അവർ ഉറക്കംപോലെ അത്രേ; അവർ രാവിലെ മുളച്ചുവരുന്ന പുല്ലുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.
6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
൬അത് രാവിലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നു; വൈകുന്നേരം അത് വാടി കരിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.
7 For we are consumed in Thine anger, and by Thy wrath are we hurried away.
൭ഞങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ കോപത്താൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചും അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്താൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുംപോകുന്നു.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance.
൮അങ്ങ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ മുമ്പിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ രഹസ്യപാപങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തിലും വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 For all our days are passed away in Thy wrath; we bring our years to an end as a tale that is told.
൯ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകൾ എല്ലാം അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു നെടുവീർപ്പുപോലെ കഴിക്കുന്നു.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten, or even by reason of strength fourscore years; yet is their pride but travail and vanity; for it is speedily gone, and we fly away.
൧൦ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം എഴുപത് സംവത്സരം; ഏറെ ആയാൽ എൺപത്; അതിന്റെ പ്രതാപം പ്രയാസവും ദുഃഖവുമത്രേ; അത് വേഗം തീരുകയും ഞങ്ങൾ പറന്നു പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
11 Who knoweth the power of Thine anger, and Thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto Thee?
൧൧അങ്ങയെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അങ്ങയുടെ കോപത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയെയും അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്തെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ആര്?
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.
൧൨ഞങ്ങൾ ജ്ഞാനമുള്ള ഒരു ഹൃദയം പ്രാപിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളെ എണ്ണുവാൻ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കണമേ.
13 Return, O LORD; how long? And let it repent Thee concerning Thy servants.
൧൩യഹോവേ, മടങ്ങിവരണമേ; എത്രത്തോളം താമസം? അടിയങ്ങളോട് സഹതാപം തോന്നണമേ.
14 O satisfy us in the morning with Thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
൧൪കാലത്ത് തന്നെ ഞങ്ങളെ അവിടുത്തെ ദയകൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തരാക്കണമേ; എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലമെല്ലാം ഞങ്ങൾ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us, according to the years wherein we have seen evil.
൧൫അവിടുന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിച്ച ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കും ഞങ്ങൾ അനർത്ഥം അനുഭവിച്ച സംവത്സരങ്ങൾക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കണമേ.
16 Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, and Thy glory upon their children.
൧൬അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസന്മാർക്ക് അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് അങ്ങയുടെ മഹത്വവും വെളിപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
17 And let the graciousness of the Lord our God be upon us; establish Thou also upon us the work of our hands; yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it.
൧൭ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദം ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ സാദ്ധ്യമാക്കി തരണമേ; അതേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ സാദ്ധ്യമാക്കി തരണമേ.
