< Psalms 90 >

1 BOOK IV A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations.
O Apo, sika ti kamangmi kadagiti amin a henerasion.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.
Sakbay a naparsua dagiti banbantay, wenno pinarsuam ti daga ken ti lubong, ti agnanayon nga awan inggana, sika ti Dios.
3 Thou turnest man to contrition; and sayest: 'Return, ye children of men.'
Isublim ti tao iti tapok, ket kunaem, “Agsublikayo, dakayo a kaputotan ti sangkataoan”
4 For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Ta iti rinibu a tawen iti panagkitam ket kasla laeng idi kalman no lumabas, ken kasla iti panagbantay iti rabii.
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
Iyanudmo ida a kas iti panangiyanod iti layus ket maturogda; Iti agsapa, kasla da la ruot nga agtubo.
6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
Iti agsapa, lumangto ken dumakkel daytoy; iti rabii, malaylay ken magango daytoy.
7 For we are consumed in Thine anger, and by Thy wrath are we hurried away.
Pudno a maibuskami iti ungetmo, ken mabutengkami iti pungtotmo.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance.
Ingkabilmo iti sangoanam dagiti nagkuranganmi, iti lawag ti imatangmo dagiti nakalemmeng a basbasolmi.
9 For all our days are passed away in Thy wrath; we bring our years to an end as a tale that is told.
Mapukaw ti biagmi babaen ti pungtotmo; sipapardas nga aglabas dagiti tawenmi a kasla iti sennaay.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten, or even by reason of strength fourscore years; yet is their pride but travail and vanity; for it is speedily gone, and we fly away.
Pitopulo a tawen iti panagbiagmi, wenno walo pulo pay no nasalun-atkami; ngem uray pay dagiti kasasayaatan a tawtawenmi ket namarkaan iti riribuk ken ladingit. Wen, lumabasda a sipapardas, ket mapukawkami.
11 Who knoweth the power of Thine anger, and Thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto Thee?
Siasino ti makaammo ti kabara ti ungetmo; maipada ti pungtotmo iti buteng a pabpabilgenna?
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.
Isu nga isuronakami a mangbilang ti biagmi tapno makapagbiagkami a sisisirib.
13 Return, O LORD; how long? And let it repent Thee concerning Thy servants.
Tumaliawka, O Yahweh! Kasano pay ti kabayagna daytoy? Kaassiam dagiti adipenmo.
14 O satisfy us in the morning with Thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Pennekennakami iti kinapudnom iti tulagmo iti agsapa, tapno mabalinmi ti agrag-o ken agragsak kadagiti amin nga al-aldawmi.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us, according to the years wherein we have seen evil.
Paragsakennakami iti mamin-adu a kas iti kaadu dagiti al-aldaw a pinagsagabanakami ken kadagiti tawtawen a nagdalankami iti riribuk.
16 Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, and Thy glory upon their children.
Bay-am a makita dagiti adipenmo ti aramidmo, ken bay-am a makita dagiti annakmi ti kinatan-okmo.
17 And let the graciousness of the Lord our God be upon us; establish Thou also upon us the work of our hands; yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it.
Maawattayo koma ti parabur ti Apo a Diostayo; parang-ayenna ti aramid dagiti imatayo; pudno unay, parang-ayenna ti aramid dagiti imatayo.
