Psalms 88
1 A Song, a Psalm of the sons of Korah; for the Leader; upon Mahalath Leannoth. Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O LORD, God of my salvation, what time I cry in the night before Thee,
詠【哀怨歌】 科辣黑子孫的詩歌，交於樂官，悲調歌唱。 上主，我的天主，我白天禱告，我黑夜在您的面前哀號。
2 Let my prayer come before Thee, incline Thine ear unto my cry.
願我的祈禱上前達您前，求您側耳聽我的呼喊。
因我的心靈飽受災難，我的性命已臨近陰間； (Sheol h7585)
4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit; I am become as a man that hath no help;
我已被列在進入墳墓的人中，我已變成與無氣力的人相同。
5 Set apart among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom Thou rememberest no more; and they are cut off from Thy hand.
我的床榻舖在死人的中間，與葬於墳墓者的屍身作伴，您已不再記念他們，您已不再照顧他們。
6 Thou hast laid me in the nethermost pit, in dark places, in the deeps.
您把我放在極深的坑間，您把我置於黑暗和深淵。
7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and all Thy waves Thou pressest down. (Selah)
您的忿怒氣燄重壓著我，您的大浪巨濤苦害著我。
8 Thou hast put mine acquaintance far from me; Thou hast made me an abomination unto them; I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
您叫我的知己離我遠去，您使我被他們痛恨厭惡；我受他們拘留不得外出。
9 Mine eye languisheth by reason of affliction; I have called upon Thee, O LORD, every day, I have spread forth my hands unto Thee.
我的眼睛痛苦而憔悴，上主，我天天在呼號著您，也把我的雙手向您舉起。
10 Wilt Thou work wonders for the dead? Or shall the shades arise and give Thee thanks? (Selah)
難道您還要給死人發顯奇跡，或是去世的人會起來稱謝您？
11 Shall Thy mercy be declared in the grave? or Thy faithfulness in destruction?
難道在墳墓裏還有人稱述您的仁慈，或者在陰府內還有人宣揚您的信義？
12 Shall Thy wonders be known in the dark? and Thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
難道在幽暗處能有人明瞭您的奇蹟？或者在遺忘區還有人曉得您的正義？
13 But as for me, unto Thee, O LORD, do I cry, and in the morning doth my prayer come to meet Thee.
但是上主，我現今呼號您，我的祈禱早晨上達於您；
14 LORD, why castest Thou off my soul? Why hidest Thou Thy face from me?
上主，您為什麼捨棄了我的靈魂？又為什麼向我掩起了您的慈容？
15 I am afflicted and at the point of death from my youth up; I have borne Thy terrors, I am distracted.
我自幼受苦，幾乎死去，受您的威嚇，萬分恐懼；
16 Thy fierce wrath is gone over me; Thy terrors have cut me off.
您的盛怒將我淹沒，您的威嚇使我死掉，
17 They came round about me like water all the day; they compassed me about together.
像水一樣常環繞著我，由四周齊來緊圍著我。
18 Friend and companion hast Thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
您使親友同伴將我離棄，黑暗成了我的家人知己。
