Psalms 87

1 A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

١ لِبَنِي قُورَحَ. مَزْمُورُ تَسْبِيحَةٍ أَسَاسُهُ فِي ٱلْجِبَالِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةِ.

2 The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

٢ ٱلرَّبُّ أَحَبَّ أَبْوَابَ صِهْيَوْنَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَسَاكِنِ يَعْقُوبَ.

3 Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. (Selah)

٣ قَدْ قِيلَ بِكِ أَمْجَادٌ يَا مَدِينَةَ ٱللهِ. سِلَاهْ.

4 'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'

٤ «أَذْكُرُ رَهَبَ وَبَابِلَ عَارِفَتَيَّ. هُوَذَا فَلَسْطِينُ وَصُورُ مَعَ كُوشَ. هَذَا وُلِدَ هُنَاكَ».

5 But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; and the Most High Himself doth establish her.'

٥ وَلِصِهْيَوْنَ يُقَالُ: «هَذَا ٱلْإِنْسَانُ، وَهَذَا ٱلْإِنْسَانُ وُلِدَ فِيهَا، وَهِيَ ٱلْعَلِيُّ يُثَبِّتُهَا».

6 The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' (Selah)

٦ ٱلرَّبُّ يَعُدُّ فِي كِتَابَةِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ: «أَنَّ هَذَا وُلِدَ هُنَاكَ». سِلَاهْ.

7 And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.

٧ وَمُغَنُّونَ كَعَازِفِينَ: «كُلُّ ٱلسُّكَّانِ فِيكِ».
