Psalms 82

1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of God; in the midst of the judges He judgeth:

(Thơ của A-sáp) Đức Chúa Trời chủ trì trong hội đồng của Ngài; Ngài tuyên phán trên thiên đàng:

2 'How long will ye judge unjustly, and respect the persons of the wicked? (Selah)

“Các ngươi phân xử bất công và thiên vị người gian tà mãi đến bao giờ?

3 Judge the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute.

Hãy xử công minh cho những người cô thế và trẻ mồ côi; bảo vệ quyền lợi người bị áp bức và tuyệt vọng.

4 Rescue the poor and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

Giải cứu người nghèo khổ và khốn cùng; đưa họ ra khỏi tay người ác.

5 They know not, neither do they understand; they go about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are moved.

Nhưng bọn áp bức không biết gì, cũng chẳng hiểu gì! Chúng cứ mò mẫm trong bóng tối, tất cả nền móng trên đất đều rúng động.

6 I said: Ye are godlike beings, and all of you sons of the Most High.

Ta xác nhận: ‘Các ngươi là thần; Tất cả đều là con trai của Đấng Chí Cao.’

7 Nevertheless ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.'

Nhưng các ngươi sẽ chết như người phàm, và ngã xuống như những người cầm quyền khác.”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for Thou shalt possess all nations.

Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin vùng dậy xét xử thế gian, vì tất cả các dân tộc đều thuộc về Chúa.
