Psalms 81
1 For the Leader; upon the Gittith. A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength; shout unto the God of Jacob.
১আমাৰ বল স্বৰূপ ঈশ্বৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে তোমালোকে উচ্চস্বৰেৰে গান কৰা; যাকোবৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে আনন্দৰ ধ্বনি কৰা।
2 Take up the melody, and sound the timbrel, the sweet harp with the psaltery.
২গীত আৰম্ভ কৰা, খঞ্জৰী বজোৱা; নেবলেৰে সৈতে মধুৰ বীণা বজোৱা।
3 Blow the horn at the new moon, at the full moon for our feast-day.
৩ন-জোনৰ দিনা আৰু পূর্ণিমাত আমাৰ উৎসৱৰ দিনা শিঙা বজোৱা।
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
৪কিয়নো এয়ে হৈছে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বাবে এক বিধি আৰু যাকোবৰ ঈশ্বৰে দিয়া এক আজ্ঞা।
5 He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, when He went forth against the land of Egypt. The speech of one that I knew not did I hear:
৫যেতিয়া তেওঁ মিচৰ দেশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ওলাই গৈছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ যোচেফৰ বংশৰ কাৰণে এই উৎসৱ সাক্ষী ৰূপে স্থাপন কৰিলে। মই আগেয়ে নজনা এনে এটি মাত শুনিলো:
6 'I removed his shoulder from the burden; His hands were freed from the basket.
৬“মই তেওঁৰ কান্ধৰ পৰা বোজাৰ ভাৰ আঁতৰাই দিলোঁ; পাচি বৈ নিয়াৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ হাত মুক্ত হ’ল।
7 Thou didst call in trouble, and I rescued thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
৭তুমি সঙ্কটৰ কালত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰাত, মই তোমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলোঁ; মেঘ গর্জনৰ শব্দৰ গুপ্ত স্থানৰ পৰা মই তোমাক উত্তৰ দিলোঁ; মিৰীবাৰ জলৰ কাষত মই তোমাক পৰীক্ষা কৰিলোঁ। (চেলা)
8 Hear, O My people, and I will admonish thee: O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto Me!
৮হে মোৰ লোকসকল, তোমালোকে মোৰ সাৱধান বাণী শুনা, হে ইস্রায়েলীয়াসকল, তোমালোকে যদি মোৰ কথা শুনিলা হয়!
9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any foreign god.
৯তোমালোকৰ মাজত কোনো বিদেশী দেৱ-দেৱী নাথাকক; কোনো বিদেশী দেৱতাৰ আগত প্ৰণিপাত নকৰিবা।
10 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt; open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
১০ময়েই তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা; ময়েই তোমালোকক মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা উলিয়াই আনিলো; তোমালোকে বহলকৈ মুখ মেলা, মই তাক পূৰ্ণ কৰিম।
11 But My people hearkened not to My voice; and Israel would none of Me.
১১কিন্তু মোৰ লোকসকলে মোৰ কথালৈ কাণসাৰ নিদিলে; ইস্ৰায়েলে মোৰ আজ্ঞা মানি নচলিলে।
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
১২সেইবাবে মই তেওঁলোকক কঠিনমনা হৃদয় লৈয়ে থাকিবলৈ দিলোঁ, যাতে তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ পৰামর্শতেই চলে।
13 Oh that My people would hearken unto Me, that Israel would walk in My ways!
১৩হায়! মোৰ লোকসকলে যদি কেৱল মোৰ কথাই শুনিলে হয়, হায়! ইস্ৰায়েলে যদি মোৰ পথতে চলিলে হয়!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries.
১৪তেন্তে মই শীঘ্রেই তেওঁলোকৰ শত্রুবোৰক দমন কৰিলোঁ হয়, তেওঁলোকৰ শত্রুবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মোৰ হাত তুলিলোঁ হয়!
15 The haters of the LORD should dwindle away before Him; and their punishment should endure for ever.
১৫যিহোৱাক ঘিণাওঁতাবোৰে তেওঁৰ সন্মুখত অৱনত হ’ব; তেওঁলোকৰ দণ্ড চিৰকাল স্থায়ী হ’ব।
16 They should also be fed with the fat of wheat; and with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.'
১৬কিন্তু ইস্রায়েলক মই সবাতোকৈ উত্তম ঘেঁহু খাবলৈ দিম; মই তেওঁলোকক শিলৰ পৰা পোৱা মৌৰে তৃপ্ত কৰিম।”
