Psalms 80
1 For the Leader; upon Shoshannim. A testimony. A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that art enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये: शोशन्नीमेदूत राग में आसाप का भजन हे इस्राएल के चरवाहे, तू जो यूसुफ की अगुआई भेड़ों की सी करता है, कान लगा! तू जो करूबों पर विराजमान है, अपना तेज दिखा!
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Thy might, and come to save us.
२एप्रैम, बिन्यामीन, और मनश्शे के सामने अपना पराक्रम दिखाकर, हमारा उद्धार करने को आ!
3 O God, restore us; and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
३हे परमेश्वर, हमको ज्यों के त्यों कर दे; और अपने मुख का प्रकाश चमका, तब हमारा उद्धार हो जाएगा!
4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt Thou be angry against the prayer of Thy people?
४हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा, तू कब तक अपनी प्रजा की प्रार्थना पर क्रोधित रहेगा?
5 Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
५तूने आँसुओं को उनका आहार बना दिया, और मटके भर भरकर उन्हें आँसू पिलाए हैं।
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours; and our enemies mock as they please.
६तू हमें हमारे पड़ोसियों के झगड़ने का कारण बना देता है; और हमारे शत्रु मनमाना ठट्ठा करते हैं।
7 O God of hosts, restore us; and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
७हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर, हमको ज्यों के त्यों कर दे; और अपने मुख का प्रकाश हम पर चमका, तब हमारा उद्धार हो जाएगा।
8 Thou didst pluck up a vine out of Egypt; Thou didst drive out the nations, and didst plant it.
८तू मिस्र से एक दाखलता ले आया; और अन्यजातियों को निकालकर उसे लगा दिया।
9 Thou didst clear a place before it, and it took deep root, and filled the land.
९तूने उसके लिये स्थान तैयार किया है; और उसने जड़ पकड़ी और फैलकर देश को भर दिया।
10 The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, and the mighty cedars with the boughs thereof.
१०उसकी छाया पहाड़ों पर फैल गई, और उसकी डालियाँ महा देवदारों के समान हुई;
11 She sent out her branches unto the sea, and her shoots unto the River.
११उसकी शाखाएँ समुद्र तक बढ़ गई, और उसके अंकुर फरात तक फैल गए।
12 Why hast Thou broken down her fences, so that all they that pass by the way do pluck her?
१२फिर तूने उसके बाड़ों को क्यों गिरा दिया, कि सब बटोही उसके फलों को तोड़ते है?
13 The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, that which moveth in the field feedeth on it.
१३जंगली सूअर उसको नाश किए डालता है, और मैदान के सब पशु उसे चर जाते हैं।
14 O God of hosts, return, we beseech Thee; look from heaven, and behold, and be mindful of this vine,
१४हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर, फिर आ! स्वर्ग से ध्यान देकर देख, और इस दाखलता की सुधि ले,
15 And of the stock which Thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that Thou madest strong for Thyself.
१५ये पौधा तूने अपने दाहिने हाथ से लगाया, और जो लता की शाखा तूने अपने लिये दृढ़ की है।
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Thy countenance.
१६वह जल गई, वह कट गई है; तेरी घुड़की से तेरे शत्रु नाश हो जाए।
17 Let Thy hand be upon the man of Thy right hand, upon the son of man whom Thou madest strong for Thyself.
१७तेरे दाहिने हाथ के सम्भाले हुए पुरुष पर तेरा हाथ रखा रहे, उस आदमी पर, जिसे तूने अपने लिये दृढ़ किया है।
18 So shall we not turn back from Thee; quicken Thou us, and we will call upon Thy name.
१८तब हम लोग तुझ से न मुड़ेंगे: तू हमको जिला, और हम तुझ से प्रार्थना कर सकेंगे।
19 O LORD God of hosts, restore us; cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
१९हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा, हमको ज्यों का त्यों कर दे! और अपने मुख का प्रकाश हम पर चमका, तब हमारा उद्धार हो जाएगा!
