Psalms 77
1 For the Leader; for Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. I will lift up my voice unto God, and cry; I will lift up my voice unto God, that He may give ear unto me.
Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi dla Jedytuna psalm Asafowy. Głos mój podnoszę do Boga, kiedy wołam; głos mój podnoszę do Boga, aby mię wysłuchał.
2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; with my hand uplifted, mine eye streameth in the night without ceasing; my soul refuseth to be comforted.
W dzień utrapienia mego szukałem Pana: wyciągałem w nocy ręce moje bez przestania, a nie dała się ucieszyć dusza moja.
3 When I think thereon, O God, I must moan; when I muse thereon, my spirit fainteth. (Selah)
Wspominałem na Boga, a trwożyłem sobą; rozmyślałem, a utrapieniem ściśniony był duch mój. (Sela)
4 Thou holdest fast the lids of mine eyes; I am troubled, and cannot speak.
Zatrzymywałeś oczy moje, aby czuły; potartym był, ażem nie mógł mówić.
5 I have pondered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
Przychodziły mi na pamięć dni przeszłe i lata dawne.
6 In the night I will call to remembrance my song; I will commune with mine own heart; and my spirit maketh diligent search:
Wspominałem sobie na śpiewanie moje; w nocym w sercu swem rozmyślał, i wywiadywał się o tem duch mój, mówiąc:
7 'Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will He be favourable no more?
Izali mię na wieki odrzuci Pan, a więcej mi już łaski nie ukaże?
8 Is His mercy clean gone for ever? Is His promise come to an end for evermore?
Izali do końca ustanie miłosierdzie jego, i koniec weźmie słowo od rodzaju aż do rodzaju? Izali zapomniał Bóg zmiłować się?
9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath He in anger shut up his compassions?' (Selah)
Izali zatrzymał w gniewie litości swoje? (Sela)
10 And I say: 'This is my weakness, that the right hand of the Most High could change.
I rzekłem: Toć jest śmierć moja; wszakże prawica Najwyższego uczyni odmianę.
11 I will make mention of the deeds of the LORD; yea, I will remember Thy wonders of old.
Wspominać sobie będę na sprawy Pańskie, a przypominać sobie będę dziwne sprawy twoje, zdawna uczynione.
12 I will meditate also upon all Thy work, and muse on Thy doings.'
I będę rozmyślał o wszelkiem dziele twojem, i o uczynkach twoich będę mówił:
13 O God, Thy way is in holiness; who is a great god like unto God?
Boże! święta jest droga twoja. Któryż Bóg jest tak wielki, jako Bóg nasz?
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders; Thou hast made known Thy strength among the peoples.
Tyś jest Bóg, który czynisz cuda; podałeś do znajomości między narody moc twoję.
15 Thou hast with Thine arm redeemed Thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
Odkupiłeś ramieniem twojem lud swój, syny Jakóbowe i Józefowe. (Sela)
16 The waters saw Thee, O God; the waters saw Thee, they were in pain; the depths also trembled.
Widziały cię wody, o Boże! widziały cię wody, i ulękły się, i wzruszyły się przepaści.
17 The clouds flooded forth waters; the skies sent out a sound; Thine arrows also went abroad.
Obłoki wydały powodzi; niebiosa wydały gromy, a strzały twoje tam i sam biegały.
18 The voice of Thy thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.
Huczało grzmienie twoje po obłokach, błyskawice oświeciły okrąg ziemi, ziemia się wzruszyła i zatrzęsła.
19 Thy way was in the sea, and Thy path in the great waters, and Thy footsteps were not known.
Przez morze była droga twoja, a ścieżki twoje przez wody wielkie, wszakże śladów twoich nie było.
20 Thou didst lead Thy people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Prowadziłeś lud twój, jako stado owiec, przez rękę Mojżesza i Aarona.
