Psalms 77
1 For the Leader; for Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. I will lift up my voice unto God, and cry; I will lift up my voice unto God, that He may give ear unto me.
സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. യെദൂഥൂന്യരാഗത്തിൽ. ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. സഹായത്തിനായി ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തോട് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു എന്റെ മുറവിളി കേൾക്കാനായി ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു.
2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; with my hand uplifted, mine eye streameth in the night without ceasing; my soul refuseth to be comforted.
ഞാൻ ദുരിതത്തിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ കർത്താവിനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു; രാത്രിയിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈകൾ അങ്ങയിലേക്കു വിശ്രമംനൽകാതെ നീട്ടി, എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്വാസം കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.
3 When I think thereon, O God, I must moan; when I muse thereon, my spirit fainteth. (Selah)
ദൈവമേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ ഓർത്ത് ഞരങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ധ്യാനമഗ്നനായി എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് തളർന്നുപോകുകയും ചെയ്തു. (സേലാ)
4 Thou holdest fast the lids of mine eyes; I am troubled, and cannot speak.
എന്റെ കൺപോളകൾക്ക് അങ്ങ് ഉറക്കം തടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; സംസാരിക്കാൻ ആകാതെ ഞാൻ വിഷമസന്ധിയിലായി.
5 I have pondered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
പൂർവദിവസങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും പണ്ടത്തെ സംവത്സരങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും ഞാൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു;
6 In the night I will call to remembrance my song; I will commune with mine own heart; and my spirit maketh diligent search:
രാത്രികാലങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പാട്ടുകളെല്ലാം ഓർത്തെടുത്തു. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ചിന്താധീനമാകുകയും എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് ആലോചനാഭരിതമാകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
7 'Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will He be favourable no more?
“കർത്താവ് എന്നെ എന്നേക്കുമായി തള്ളിക്കളയുമോ? അവിടന്ന് ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും എന്നോട് ദയാലുവായിരിക്കുകയില്ലേ?
8 Is His mercy clean gone for ever? Is His promise come to an end for evermore?
അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം എന്നേക്കും ഇല്ലാതായോ? അവിടത്തെ വാഗ്ദാനം എക്കാലത്തേക്കും നിലച്ചുപോയോ?
9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath He in anger shut up his compassions?' (Selah)
ദൈവം കരുണചൊരിയുന്നതിനു മറന്നുപോയോ? അവിടന്ന് കോപത്തിൽ തന്റെ കരുണാവർഷം അടച്ചുകളഞ്ഞോ?” (സേലാ)
10 And I say: 'This is my weakness, that the right hand of the Most High could change.
അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു: “അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നിൽനിന്നു മാറിപ്പോയതാണ് എന്റെ ദുഃഖകാരണം.
11 I will make mention of the deeds of the LORD; yea, I will remember Thy wonders of old.
ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഓർക്കും; അതേ, പുരാതനകാലംമുതലുള്ള അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും.
12 I will meditate also upon all Thy work, and muse on Thy doings.'
അവിടത്തെ എല്ലാ പ്രവൃത്തികളും ഞാൻ പരിഗണിക്കും; അവിടത്തെ എല്ലാ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെക്കുറിച്ചും ഞാൻ ധ്യാനിക്കും.”
13 O God, Thy way is in holiness; who is a great god like unto God?
ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയുടെ വഴികൾ പരിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ഉന്നതനായ ദേവൻ ആരുള്ളൂ?
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders; Thou hast made known Thy strength among the peoples.
അവിടന്ന് അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവമാണ്; അവിടന്ന് ജനതകളുടെ മധ്യേ അവിടത്തെ ശക്തി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 Thou hast with Thine arm redeemed Thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
അവിടത്തെ ശക്തിയുള്ള കരംകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തെ അവിടന്ന് വീണ്ടെടുത്തു, യാക്കോബിന്റെയും യോസേഫിന്റെയും പിൻതലമുറകളെത്തന്നെ. (സേലാ)
16 The waters saw Thee, O God; the waters saw Thee, they were in pain; the depths also trembled.
ദൈവമേ, സമുദ്രം അങ്ങയെക്കണ്ടു, ആഴി അങ്ങയെക്കണ്ട് പുളഞ്ഞുപോയി; ആഴങ്ങൾ പ്രകമ്പനംകൊള്ളുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
17 The clouds flooded forth waters; the skies sent out a sound; Thine arrows also went abroad.
മേഘങ്ങൾ ജലവർഷം നടത്തി, ആകാശം മുഴക്കത്താൽ മാറ്റൊലികൊണ്ടു; അവിടത്തെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എല്ലായിടത്തേക്കും ചീറിപ്പാഞ്ഞു.
18 The voice of Thy thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.
അങ്ങയുടെ ഇടിനാദം ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിൽ മുഴങ്ങിക്കേട്ടു, അങ്ങയുടെ മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകൾ ഭൂതലത്തെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമി വിറയ്ക്കുകയും നടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.
19 Thy way was in the sea, and Thy path in the great waters, and Thy footsteps were not known.
അവിടത്തെ കാൽച്ചുവടുകൾ കാണാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും, അവിടത്തെ പാത സമുദ്രത്തിലൂടെയും അവിടത്തെ വഴികൾ പെരുവെള്ളത്തിലൂടെയും ആയിരുന്നു.
20 Thou didst lead Thy people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
മോശയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും കരങ്ങളിലൂടെ, അവിടത്തെ ജനത്തെ അങ്ങ് ഒരു ആട്ടിൻപറ്റത്തെപ്പോലെ നയിച്ചു.
