< Psalms 72 >
1 A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king's son;
Thaburi ya Solomoni Wee Ngai, he mũthamaki ũhoti wa gũtuuanagĩra ciira na kĩhooto, na mũrũ wa mũthamaki ũkĩmũhe ũthingu waku.
2 That he may judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with justice.
Nake nĩarĩciiragĩra andũ aku na ũthingu, andũ aku arĩa anyamaarĩku amatuagĩre ciira na kĩhooto.
3 Let the mountains bear peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness.
Irĩma igaatũmaga andũ magaacĩre, natuo tũrĩma tũciarage matunda ma ũthingu.
4 May he judge the poor of the people, and save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.
Nĩarĩgitagĩra andũ arĩa anyamaarĩku gatagatĩ ka andũ, na ahonokie ciana cia arĩa abatari; nĩakahehenja arĩa mamahinyagĩrĩria.
5 They shall fear Thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Mũthamaki arotũũra hĩndĩ ĩrĩa yothe riũa rĩgũtũũra, na rĩrĩa rĩothe mweri ũgũtũũra nginya njiarwa na njiarwa.
6 May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
Arĩhaanaga ta mbura ĩkiurĩra mũgũnda mũtũgũte, ahaane ta rũthuthuũ ũrĩa rũihũgagia thĩ.
7 In his days let the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
Matukũ-inĩ make andũ arĩa athingu nĩmagatheerema; naguo ũgaacĩru ũingĩhe o nginya rĩrĩa mweri ũgaakorwo ũtarĩ ho.
8 May he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth.
Agaathanaga kuuma iria rĩmwe nginya rĩrĩa rĩngĩ, na kuuma Rũũĩ rwa Farati o nginya ituri cia thĩ.
9 Let them that dwell in the wilderness bow before him; and his enemies lick the dust.
Ndũrĩrĩ cia werũ-inĩ nĩikainamĩrĩra mbere yake, nacio thũ ciake icũne rũkũngũ.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Athamaki a Tarishishi na a mabũrũri marĩa marĩ hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia kũraya nĩmakamũrehagĩra igooti; nao athamaki a Sheba na Seba nĩmakamũrehagĩra iheo.
11 Yea, all kings shall prostrate themselves before him; all nations shall serve him.
Athamaki othe makaamũinamĩrĩra, nacio ndũrĩrĩ ciothe imũtungatagĩre.
12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
Nĩgũkorwo nĩakahonokia abatari maamũkaĩra, o na arĩa anyamaarie matarĩ na wa kũmateithia.
13 He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save.
Nĩakaiguagĩra tha arĩa matarĩ hinya na arĩa abatari, na ahonokie arĩa athĩĩni kuuma kũrĩ gĩkuũ.
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence, and precious will their blood be in his sight;
Nĩakamateithũra kuuma kũrĩ arĩa mamahinyagĩrĩria na kuuma haaro-inĩ, nĩgũkorwo thakame yao ĩrĩ bata mũno maitho-inĩ make.
15 That they may live, and that he may give them of the gold of Sheba, that they may pray for him continually, yea, bless him all the day.
Arogĩtũũra hĩndĩ ndaaya! Aroheagwo thahabu ya kuuma Sheba. Arotũũra ahooyagĩrwo nĩ andũ hĩndĩ ciothe, na mamũrathimage mũthenya wothe.
16 May he be as a rich cornfield in the land upon the top of the mountains; may his fruit rustle like Lebanon; and may they blossom out of the city like grass of the earth.
Bũrũri ũrogĩa na bũthi wa ngano kũndũ guothe; ĩrorirũkĩra tũrĩma-igũrũ. Maciaro makuo marothegea ta ma Lebanoni; nakuo matũũra-inĩ andũ marotheerema ta nyeki ya gĩthaka.
17 May his name endure for ever; may his name be continued as long as the sun; may men also bless themselves by him; may all nations call him happy.
Rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩrotũũra nginya tene; rĩrotũũra o ta ũrĩa riũa rĩgũtũũra. Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe nĩikarathimwo nĩ ũndũ wake, nacio imwĩtage mũndũ mũrathime.
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things;
Goocai Jehova Ngai, o we Ngai wa Isiraeli, o we wiki wĩkaga maũndũ ma magegania.
19 And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
Rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩu rĩrĩ riiri rĩrogoocagwo nginya tene; nayo thĩ yothe ĩroiyũrwo nĩ riiri wake.
20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
