Psalms 72
1 A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king's son;
天主，求您給君王傳授您的權柄，求您給太子傳授您的公正。
2 That he may judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with justice.
使他照正義統治您的百姓，使他按公道管理您的平民。
3 Let the mountains bear peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness.
願高山給人民帶來和平；願丘嶺為百姓送來公正！
4 May he judge the poor of the people, and save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.
他必衛護百姓中的窮人，救助窮苦人的子孫，蹂躪欺壓人的暴民。
5 They shall fear Thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
祂要與日月共存，世世代代無窮盡。
6 May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
祂降臨如落在草原上的喜雨，又如潤澤田地的甘露。
7 In his days let the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
在祂的歲月中，正義必要興盛，到處國泰民安，直至月亮失明。
8 May he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth.
祂將統治大地，從這海到那海，由大河的流域，至地極的邊界。
9 Let them that dwell in the wilderness bow before him; and his enemies lick the dust.
祂的仇敵將向他屈膝跪拜，和祂作對的人要舌舔塵埃。
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
塔爾史士和群島的眾王要獻上禮品，舍巴和色巴的君王，也都要前來進貢。
11 Yea, all kings shall prostrate themselves before him; all nations shall serve him.
眾王都要崇拜祂，萬民都要事奉祂。
12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
祂必拯救哀號的貧民，祂必扶持無援的窮人。
13 He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save.
祂將憐恤不幸和貧乏的群眾，祂要救護窮苦貧病者的生命。
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence, and precious will their blood be in his sight;
祂要救他們脫離殘暴與壓迫，他們的血在祂眼中珍貴無比。
15 That they may live, and that he may give them of the gold of Sheba, that they may pray for him continually, yea, bless him all the day.
願祂常存！願眾人向祂奉獻舍巴黃金，願眾人時常向祂祈禱，不斷向祂求恩！
16 May he be as a rich cornfield in the land upon the top of the mountains; may his fruit rustle like Lebanon; and may they blossom out of the city like grass of the earth.
田地裏所出產的五穀百果必將豐盈，山嶺上的收成也要富饒有如黎巴嫩，城市的人必要昌盛有如地上的草茵。
17 May his name endure for ever; may his name be continued as long as the sun; may men also bless themselves by him; may all nations call him happy.
祂的名號常存，永受讚揚；祂的名號永留，與日爭光。萬邦要因祂而得福，萬民要稱祂為有福。
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things;
願上主天主，以色列的天主享受讚頌，因為只有上主作出了奇妙的化工。
19 And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
願上主光榮的名號永受讚美，願上主的榮耀充滿整個大地！阿們！阿們！
