Psalms 7
1 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning Cush a Benjamite. O LORD my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;
दावीद का शिग्गायोन जिसे दावीद ने बिन्यामिन गोत्र के कूश के संदर्भ में याहवेह के सामने गाया. याहवेह, मेरे परमेश्वर! मैं आपके ही आश्रय में आया हूं; उन सबसे मुझे बचा लीजिए, जो मेरा पीछा कर रहे हैं, उन सबसे मेरी रक्षा कीजिए,
2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
अन्यथा वे मेरे प्राण को सिंह की नाई फाड़कर टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डालेंगे, जबकि मुझे छुड़ाने के लिए वहां कोई भी न होगा.
3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
याहवेह, मेरे परमेश्वर, यदि मैंने वह किया है, जैसा वे कह रहे हैं, यदि मैं किसी अनुचित कार्य का दोषी हूं,
4 If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;
यदि मैंने उसकी बुराई की है, जिसके साथ मेरे शान्तिपूर्ण संबंध थे, अथवा मैंने अपने शत्रु को अकारण ही मुक्त कर दिया है,
5 Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
तो शत्रु मेरा पीछा करे और मुझे पकड़ ले; वह मुझे पैरों से कुचलकर मार डाले और मेरी महिमा को धूल में मिला दे.
6 Arise, O LORD, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
याहवेह, कोप में उठिए; मेरे शत्रुओं के विरुद्ध अत्यंत झुंझलाहट के साथ उठिये. अपने निर्धारित न्याय-दंड के अनुरूप मेरे पक्ष में सहायता कीजिए.
7 And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
आपके चारों ओर विश्व के समस्त राष्ट्र एकत्र हों और आप पुनः उनके मध्य अपने निर्धारित उच्चासन पर विराजमान हो जाइए,
8 O LORD, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
याहवेह ही राष्ट्रों के न्यायाध्यक्ष हैं. याहवेह, मेरी सच्चाई, एवं ईमानदारी के कारण मेरा न्याय करें,
9 Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
दुष्ट के दुष्कर्म समाप्त हो जाएं आप ईमानदारी को स्थिर करें, आप ही युक्त परमेश्वर हैं. आप ही हैं, जो मन के विचारों एवं मर्म की विवेचना करते हैं.
10 My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
परमेश्वर मेरी सुरक्षा की ढाल हैं, वही सीधे मनवालों को बचाते हैं.
11 God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day:
परमेश्वर युक्त न्यायाध्यक्ष हैं, ऐसे परमेश्वर, जो सदैव ही बुराई से क्रोध करते हैं.
12 If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
यदि मनुष्य पश्चात्ताप न करे, परमेश्वर अपनी तलवार की धार तीक्ष्ण करते हैं; वह अपना धनुष साध बाण डोरी पर चढ़ा लेते हैं.
13 He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
परमेश्वर ने अपने घातक शस्त्र तैयार कर लिए हैं; उन्होंने अपने बाणों को अग्निबाण बना लिया है.
14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
दुष्ट जन विनाश की योजनाओं को अपने गर्भ में धारण किए हुए हैं, वे झूठ का जन्म देते हैं.
15 He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
उसने भूमि खोदी और गड्ढा बनाया और वह अपने ही खोदे हुए गड्ढे में जा गिरा.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
उसकी विनाशक युक्तियां लौटकर उसी के सिर पर आ पड़ेंगी; उसकी हिंसा उसी की खोपड़ी पर आ उतरेगी.
17 I will give thanks unto the LORD according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
मैं याहवेह को उनके धर्म के अनुसार धन्यवाद दूंगा; मैं सर्वोच्च याहवेह के नाम का स्तवन करूंगा.
