Psalms 69
1 For the Leader; upon Shoshannim. A Psalm of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in even unto the soul.
Dem Sangmeister, nach (der Weise von: ) "Lilien". Von David.
2 I am sunk in deep mire, where there is no standing; I am come into deep waters, and the flood overwhelmeth me.
Hilf mir, Elohim, / Denn die Wasser bedrohen mein Leben!
3 I am weary of my crying; my throat is dried; mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
Versunken bin ich in tiefen Morast und kann nicht stehn; / Ich bin geraten in Wasserstrudel, es hat mich die Flut überströmt.
4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are many; should I restore that which I took not away?
Ich bin müde vom Schrein, meine Kehle ist heiser; / Erloschen sind meine Augen, während ich harre auf meinen Gott.
5 O God, Thou knowest my folly; and my trespasses are not hid from Thee.
Zahlreicher als meines Hauptes Haare sind, die mich grundlos hassen. / Mächtig sind, die mich zu vernichten suchen, / Die mich mit Unrecht befeinden. / Was ich nicht geraubt, das soll ich erstatten!
6 Let not them that wait for Thee be ashamed through me, O Lord GOD of hosts; let not those that seek Thee be brought to confusion through me, O God of Israel.
Elohim, du kennst meine Torheit, / Und mein Verschulden ist dir nicht verborgen.
7 Because for Thy sake I have borne reproach; confusion hath covered my face.
Laß nicht in mir zuschanden werden, die auf dich harren, / Adonái Jahwe der Heerscharen (Herr)! / Laß nicht um meinetwillen in Schimpf geraten, / Die dich, Gott Israels, suchen!
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
Denn meinetwegen habe ich Schmach ertragen, / Hat Schande mein Antlitz bedeckt.
9 Because zeal for Thy house hath eaten me up, and the reproaches of them that reproach Thee are fallen upon me.
Fremd bin ich meinen Brüdern geworden / Und unbekannt meiner Mutter Söhnen.
10 And I wept with my soul fasting, and that became unto me a reproach.
Denn der Eifer um dein Haus hat mich verzehrt, / Und die Lästerungen derer, die dich schmähen, sind auf mich gefallen.
11 I made sackcloth also my garment, and I became a byword unto them.
Wenn ich weinte bei meinem Fasten, / So ward ich deshalb verhöhnt.
12 They that sit in the gate talk of me; and I am the song of the drunkards.
Und zog ich an ein härenes Kleid, / So trieben sie ihren Spott mit mir.
13 But as for me, let my prayer be unto Thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time; O God, in the abundance of Thy mercy, answer me with the truth of Thy salvation.
Die im Tore sitzen, schwatzen von mir, / Die Lieder der Zecher verhöhnen mich.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Ich aber, Jahwe, bete zu dir; nimm du es gnädig auf! / Antworte mir, Elohim, nach deiner großen Güte, / Nach deiner Treue, die Hilfe schenkt!
15 Let not the waterflood overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Entreiß mich dem Schlamm, daß ich nicht versinke! / Von meinen Feinden errette mich, / Zieh mich aus den Wassertiefen!
16 Answer me, O LORD, for Thy mercy is good; according to the multitude of Thy compassions turn Thou unto me.
Laß mich die Fluten nicht überströmen, / Laß den Strudel mich nicht verschlingen, / Nicht schließe der Brunnen sich über mir!
17 And hide not Thy face from Thy servant; for I am in distress; answer me speedily.
Erhöre mich, Jahwe; denn deine Huld ist köstlich; / Nach deinem großen Erbarmen kehr dich zu mir!
18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it; ransom me because of mine enemies.
Verbirg dein Antlitz nicht vor deinem Knechte! / Denn mir ist angst; antworte mir eilends!
19 Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my confusion; mine adversaries are all before Thee.
O nahe du meiner Seele, erlöse sie, / Um meiner Feinde willen mache mich frei!
20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am sore sick; and I looked for some to show compassion, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
Du weißt ja, daß Schmach und Schande und Schimpf mein Teil gewesen; / All meine Dränger sind dir bekannt.
21 Yea, they put poison into my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Die Schmach hat mein Herz gebrochen: ich sieche dahin. / Ich dachte, Mitleid zu finden, doch nein! / Ich hoffte auf Tröster und fand sie nicht.
22 Let their table before them become a snare; and when they are in peace, let it become a trap.
Vielmehr ward mir Gift in die Speise gemischt, / Mit Essig tränkte man mich in meinem Durst.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to totter.
Ihr Tisch soll ihnen zur Schlinge werden, / Zum Fallstrick, während sie sorglos sind.
24 Pour out Thine indignation upon them, and let the fierceness of Thine anger overtake them.
Ihre Augen sollen finster werden und nicht mehr sehn. / Ihre Hüften laß immerdar wanken!
25 Let their encampment be desolate; let none dwell in their tents.
Gieß deinen Grimm auf sie aus, / Und deine Zornglut treffe sie!
26 For they persecute him whom Thou hast smitten; and they tell of the pain of those whom Thou hast wounded.
Ihr Lager soll wüste werden, / In ihren Zelten sei kein Bewohner!
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity; and let them not come into Thy righteousness.
Denn den du geschlagen, verfolgen sie / Und erzählen von deiner Durchbohrten Schmerz.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
Mehre du ihre Sündenschuld / Und laß sie dein Heil nicht erlangen!
29 But I am afflicted and in pain; let Thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
Tilge sie aus dem Lebensbuch / Und mit den Frommen schreib sie nicht auf!
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Doch ich bin gebeugt und schmerzbeladen, / Deine Hilfe, Elohim, sie wird mich schützen.
31 And it shall please the LORD better than a bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
Dann will ich den Namen Gottes im Liede rühmen / Und ihn mit Danken erheben.
32 The humble shall see it, and be glad; ye that seek after God, let your heart revive.
Das wird Jahwe besser gefallen als Rinder, / Als Stiere mit Hörnern und Klauen.
33 For the LORD hearkeneth unto the needy, and despiseth not His prisoners.
Sehen das Dulder, so freuen sie sich. / Die ihr Gott sucht, euer Herz lebe auf!
34 Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
Denn Jahwe merkt auf die Armen, / Seine Gefangnen verachtet er nicht.
35 For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah; and they shall abide there, and have it in possession.
Es sollen ihn loben Himmel und Erde, / Die Meere und alles, was drinnen sich regt.
36 The seed also of His servants shall inherit it; and they that love His name shall dwell therein.
Denn Elohim wird Zion helfen / Und bauen die Städte Judas, / Daß man dort wohne und sie besitze. Seiner Knechte Nachkommen werden sie erben; / Und die seinen Namen lieben, / Sollen darin ihre Wohnung haben.
