Psalms 63
1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, Thou art my God, earnestly will I seek Thee; my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee, in a dry and weary land, where no water is.
Un salmo de David, cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá. Dios, tú eres mi Dios. Te buscaré con ahínco. Mi alma tiene sed de ti. Mi carne te anhela, en una tierra seca y cansada, donde no hay agua.
2 So have I looked for Thee in the sanctuary, to see Thy power and Thy glory.
Así te he visto en el santuario, viendo tu poder y tu gloria.
3 For Thy lovingkindness is better than life; my lips shall praise Thee.
Porque tu bondad amorosa es mejor que la vida, mis labios te alabarán.
4 So will I bless Thee as long as I live; in Thy name will I lift up my hands.
Así te bendeciré mientras viva. Levantaré mis manos en tu nombre.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth doth praise Thee with joyful lips;
Mi alma se saciará como del más rico alimento. Mi boca te alabará con labios alegres,
6 When I remember Thee upon my couch, and meditate on Thee in the night-watches.
cuando te recuerdo en mi cama, y pensar en ti en las guardias nocturnas.
7 For Thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of Thy wings do I rejoice.
Porque tú has sido mi ayuda. Me alegraré a la sombra de tus alas.
8 My soul cleaveth unto Thee; Thy right hand holdeth me fast.
Mi alma permanece cerca de ti. Tu mano derecha me sostiene.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the nethermost parts of the earth.
Pero los que buscan mi alma para destruirla irán a las partes bajas de la tierra.
10 They shall be hurled to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for foxes.
Serán entregados al poder de la espada. Serán comida para chacales.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory; for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
Pero el rey se alegrará en Dios. Todos los que juran por él lo alabarán, porque la boca de los que hablan mentiras será silenciada.
