Psalms 63
1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, Thou art my God, earnestly will I seek Thee; my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee, in a dry and weary land, where no water is.
೧ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವೂ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಣಗಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವನು ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿಯೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ, ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರವು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ದಾಹಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
2 So have I looked for Thee in the sanctuary, to see Thy power and Thy glory.
೨ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಈಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
3 For Thy lovingkindness is better than life; my lips shall praise Thee.
೩ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮಾನುಭವವು ಜೀವಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವುದು.
4 So will I bless Thee as long as I live; in Thy name will I lift up my hands.
೪ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ ಹರಸುತ್ತಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಕೈಮುಗಿಯುವೆನು.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth doth praise Thee with joyful lips;
೫ಮೃಷ್ಟಭೋಜನದಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ, ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸಂತುಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರುವುದು; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದು.
6 When I remember Thee upon my couch, and meditate on Thee in the night-watches.
೬ನಾನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವಾಗ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಜಾವಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
7 For Thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of Thy wings do I rejoice.
೭ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿರುವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ; ನಿನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆನಂದಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
8 My soul cleaveth unto Thee; Thy right hand holdeth me fast.
೮ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ನನಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the nethermost parts of the earth.
೯ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡು ಬಗೆಯುವವರೋ, ಅಧೋಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗುವರು.
10 They shall be hurled to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for foxes.
೧೦ಅವರು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗುವರು; ನರಿಗಳ ಪಾಲಾಗುವರು.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory; for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
೧೧ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನೋ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುವನು, ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಸುಳ್ಳುಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಗ್ಗುವರು.
