Psalms 61

1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

Для дириґента хору. На струннім інструменті. Псалом Давидів. Вислухай, Боже, блага́ння моє, почуй же молитву мою, —

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

я кли́чу до Тебе від краю землі, коли серце моє омліва́є! На ске́лю, що вища від мене, мене попрова́дь,

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

бо для мене Ти став пристано́вищем, ба́штою сильною супроти ворога!

4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

Хай я оселю́ся наві́ки в наме́ті Твоїм, в укритті́ Твоїх крил захова́юся, (Се́ла)

5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

бо Ти, Боже, почув обітниці мої, Ти дав спа́дщину тим, хто Йме́ння Твого боїться!

6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

Царе́ві примно́ж дні до днів, продовж ро́ки йому — немов вічні віки́,

7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

нехай він перед Божим лицем пробува́є навіки, хай милість та правда його стережу́ть!

8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Отак буду співати я за́вжди про Ймення Твоє, виконувати буду щоде́нно обі́ти свої!
