Psalms 61

1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان برذوات اوتار. مزمور داود ای خدا فریاد مرا بشنو! و دعای مرااجابت فرما!

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

۲ از اقصای جهان تو راخواهم خواند، هنگامی که دلم بیهوش می‌شود، مرا به صخره‌ای که از من بلندتر است هدایت نما.

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

۳ زیرا که تو ملجای من بوده‌ای و برج قوی ازروی دشمن.

4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

۴ در خیمه تو ساکن خواهم بود تاابدالاباد. زیر سایه بالهای تو پناه خواهم برد، سلاه.

5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

۵ زیرا تو‌ای خدا نذرهای مرا شنیده‌ای ومیراث ترسندگان نام خود را به من عطا کرده‌ای.

6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

۶ بر عمر پادشاه روزها خواهی افزود و سالهای اوتا نسل‌ها باقی خواهد ماند.

7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

۷ به حضور خداخواهد نشست تا ابدالاباد. رحمت و راستی را مهیا کن تا او را محافظت کنند.

8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

۸ پس نام تو را تا به ابد خواهم سرایید تا هر روز نذرهای خود را وفاکنم.
